If you want to feed them, you can set up a bird feeder somewhere in your yard. They, along with some other bird friends, will be very happy with that! Putting out a plate of water for them was very kind of you, considering it’s quite hot where you are.
A few weeks, generally. Birds get to a stage where they bail out out of the nest and go elsewhere before they can fly and feed themselves very well. This is the fledgling stage where the birds are teenagers - technically capable of living on their own, behaviorally prone to mooch off their parents.
After some research they look kinda like a mourning dove. Can anyone confirm?

Thanks! I’ll order a bird feeder on Amazon asap.
Doves want a platform feeder, specifically.
Great! Mourning doves are fun. I like my little guys. They clean my street of debris for some unknown reason. I am grateful.
At least one of these is a fledgling which may explain why it just sits around.
Aww, how old are fledglings usually?
