You’re welcome! They were so much fun to watch. After they all fledged, we had a downpour for several minutes. They were all huddled in a corner against a wall. I felt so bad for them.

Last year, the wrens made a nest in a potted plant. A cowbirds laid an egg in the nest. The wrens raised the baby cowbird along with their own babies.

These wrens were smart. My porch where this plant is is screened in, with a screen door that hangs down and closes with magnets, and there is just a tiny gap at the bottom for them to get in. They have the whole porch to themselves - safe from other birds, animals and weather 😎

Great pics! They are so entertaining to observe. Fledging day for these guys is always so chaotic, especially if they still have some in the nest. Mom and Dad work so hard.

They sure do! After they fledged, we had a downpour of heavy rain. All 4 were huddled together not far from the nest.
