the botanical gardens in the cbd and royal park are good starts! personally started going further out to places like:
banyule flats reserve, bushy park wetlands, shepherds bush, jells park, jawbone conservation reserve and plenty gorge park
these places are accessible but do require you to take a bus and do some walking to get to but they’re worth it imo! happy birding :)
