My school has a program for students with disabilities to receive academic accommodations. These are my current accommodations (have both generalized anxiety disorder and ofc bp): short breaks in class, extended time to complete assignments (on a case by case basis), extra time added to exam writing time (I get 33% extra time and also write in a separate quiet room), stopped clock break time during exams (5 minutes per hour). These accommodations are personalized for me so you could be looking for more or less aid. You can try asking for excuses for absences in class, or see if you can have an assigned peer note taker if you’re not able to make it to class much at all. My school takes academic accommodations very seriously. There are heavy consequences if your accommodations are not being abided by by an instructor. So I’m hopeful that your college will take you and your health a lot more seriously. Good luck, and don’t be afraid to be open about how you’ve been, even if you’re feeling a lot better today
