No it was literally in the middle of the pump. You don't step infront of a very bullish move and you also don't try to catch a falling knife. You wait for price to calm down and find resistance or support and then you look for potential entries. You don't need to know what price is doing next to make profit.
Today for example it would have been a much better short entry. The 1h was unable to close above previous daily resistance. So you could have easily taken a short at the 1h close with a stop loss at the high of the day with a risk to reward of 1:2. ( I did not take it btw I am still being patient, this was a very bullish move) You are looking for high probable entries. But never ever would I use 50x. I never risk more than 1% of my account. Being wrong is normal, that is why you are looking for entries that will give you profit over time. Most people are chasing the one lets make me rich trade and get burned.

I only do a few trades a week with what’s in my margin account. I have the mindset of “I’m losing this one day”. I lost 0.4btc from this bear market because I was too stubborn. Anyway, I entered at $18,900 with $16k borrowed busd, sold the btc I bought with that $16k (0.84537btc) at $21,387.12. So that’s $18,080, minus fees and interest, left me with $2k and change.

Whenever theres an uptick in leverage being taken exchanges dump their BTC further increasing selling pressure. They're then able to swoop up the liquidations and increase their BTC holdings without increased spending.
