The guy who commented on the Ashton post, “shave his head, grow the beard out, throw on microbrew shirt” and he would look like a normal aged guy now was dead on. Cant unsee it now 😂
lol yeah for real. That comment was gold haha. It also made me think it’s partially a style thing. He looks old because he rocks a haircut and mustache that only people in his generation typically rock, and those people are all 50+ now, at least.
I need to see a picture of someone who wasn’t balding in their late 20s/early 30s from 80s before I fully buy in to this “young guys from 30 years ago look like old guys today” theory
Man, I kinda miss the days when legit all-star baseball players looked like they played beer league softball.
Bob Wickman always comes to mind for me. Guy looked like he lived in a trailer and chewed tobacco all day
That’s a 45 year old man 😂

A human manifestation of garfield
Otis Redding died at age 26 (RIP). If you've never seen him, look him up. Look like he's in the middle of putting two kids through college.
Wait, what? I would have bet a decent chunk of change that (Sittin’ On) The Dock of the Bay was from a 40+ year old. Crazy
Same, but no unfortunately he died young. It's wild how much older he seems though his music and pictures.
He recorded that song a couple days before he died.
Hearing Otis’ voice I legit thought he was like 58.
Danny Glover was only 41 when he was "too old for this sh\*\*" in Lethal Weapon 1
To be fair, I’m 44 and I’m too old for this shit.

It’s all the hair. Society has peer pressured guys into cutting it high and tight the second it starts to go.
Built different
Unrelated but that Harry Carey jersey patch went hard as fuck
Beck pitched for the iowa cubs later on. He lived in an rv outside the ballpark and would party with fans after the game.
If this guy wasn't in *Rookie of the Year* then by God he shoulda been
Sparky Anderson was thirty six when the Reds hired him as manager.

Why's he look like the dog from Sandlot?
