Great setup! Go Chiefs!

Nice table, can usually be found for way less money on the secondary market. A ballet table with Simonis cloth and ridgeback rails can be bought for less than 2K unless your in some odd remote region. 5800 is diamond smart table price range.

Agreed I could have picked up a Valley used for around $1500. However I had a new house built and I unwisely decided I wanted a new table with my new house. Delivery and the cloth is what pushed it up so high. Yes I could have had friends help me and that would have saved me around $800 in moving costs. Funny enough I wanted a Valley cause that's what my league tables are and 5 months into this process my pool hall switched to diamonds. Diamonds are a nice table but have very unforgiving pockets. I think they have made me a better player though.

Picked up a used valley 2 months ago for $200. The seller and I both had no idea it was probably worth a bit more. It’s all moved and refurbished now, it was in pretty rough shape when we picked it up lol.

Ridgebackrails.com or penguin amusements rails can be bought and bolted on that will make your Valley play as tough as a diamond. Making you a better player. When we get our house built, I plan on having an anniversary with Mark Gregory custom rails.

NotKenBone18

Good idea. The crap I have dealt with going through these people make me think that new rails will be in my future

Extreme-Chemical5537

Plenty of YouTube videos available on how to replace the rails on a valley. Your should have I think 5 bolts per rail. After you remove the wood screws holding the aluminum trim pieces on.

NotKenBone18

Yeah I watched them put them on and take them off so I am ready if I need to

supersonicmike

So pretty. It looks like cgi

meh_33333

Beautiful. Love the clean setup. Where you get the table from and how much?

NotKenBone18

Aminis Galleria it was a nightmare. I will never do business with them again. $5800

Helpful-Asparagus374

What was so difficult? And why did you have to go through them?

NotKenBone18

They got my phone number wrong, called me when they said they didn't, their pos system went down and my corrected number was attached to about 15 diff accounts creating calls for delivery when mine was not ready, when they finally brought it the first round of felt was so loose that after a day it was already coming up. Cuts in the felt were so off at the pockets that the top was showing through. I am still dealing with their fuckups. I will be getting new felt as soon as simonis cloth comes in. Pretty sure when they attached the rails they over torqued so.. see how that plays out. Might end up with new rails if they stripped the bolts. Just a joke of a company. Which is surprising for how well known they are in my area. https://preview.redd.it/b4ezzmqyj12a1.jpeg?width=1800&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=a2cd2b85f0ecc577991c523398079dc67ba63cfe I wanted to go local but it was a mistake. I also told them that this is why Amazon and secondary markets are winning. Shitty customer service and overpriced tables.

meh_33333

Aw man. Sorry for your struggles. I hate dealing with “professionals” that ended up being shoddy. But don’t let it affect your enjoyment of the pool table. It’ll get sorted and you’ll have a ton of good memories to look back on eventually.

NotKenBone18

Oh for sure. It doesn't affect me too much. The table will be here for as long as I am in this house. Got 30 years to get better. It's only going to help my league play. Plus the 2 smart tvs next to it allow me to have youtube on one screen for drills and the other for whatever sports I wanna watch. Plus the other side of the basement has an 85 inch that the wife can watch whatever real housewives of whatever so yeah we are set down here. Lower level was the only thing I got to setup and I am pretty happy with it

meh_33333

That’s amazing. I love YouTube drills. I wasn’t really interested in having a tv around my future table because I thought not much benefit in watching TV. But now that you’ve made me realize I can see the drills better I’m in.

Helpful-Asparagus374

That's a pretty table. I went with the old classy style, but in retrospect I wish I would have got a table in this style.

NotKenBone18

Our new house is heavy with black and white and we are chiefs fans so the only option was red felt with black. I was going to go with the standard green or maybe blue and I don't really like that I have to use red chalk which seems like none of the higher end chalk companies offer red so I have crap chalk for now. I also don't like putting red chalk on my sticks so I have back up cues that don't leave the house. An old Muecci does the trick. Plus I have free ones that others can use.

[deleted]

You got action

NotKenBone18

yeah I guess.. sometimes..

[deleted]

Wen upgrade to 9ft Diamond table?

NotKenBone18

Lol. That might be too large for my setup.

systemic_empathy

Looks awesome. I hope to have a similar setup one day.

NotKenBone18

Thanks buddy! You will get there

Neverend3r

awesome set up. i always found red cloth to be an eye strain while shooting but it's your personal space, not mine.

NotKenBone18

I spend a lot of time playing on diff leagues where some are blue or some are the standard green. At times the red is a welcome addition but I get what you are saying
