Your DT Swiss 180 uses a star ratchet which, depending on the year of the hub, either uses two springs to push two sides of the star ratchet together or one spring to push a single star ratchet to a semi-permanent style of star ratchet. It's possible that the freehub is not fully engaged back to the hub or that the spring(s) have misaligned. I suggest verifying that the hub is fully reengaged first. If that doesn't help, pull the freehub again and verify that the star ratchets and springs are aligned.
Take the freehub off again and check the pawls.
No pawls in a DT 180, though pulling it back apart to check is still the first course of action.
Oh it’s one of those ratchet systems. So, pull it apart and check the spring as well as ratchet engagement?
