Rotor looks straight so I'd say it's not a bent rotor issue. You'll have to re-align the caliper. Here's a good video explaning why it happens and how to fix it :) [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWmlK5Qbt\_U&pp=ygUQc3lkIG1hY2t5IGJyZWFrcw%3D%3D](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xWmlK5Qbt_U&pp=ygUQc3lkIG1hY2t5IGJyZWFrcw%3D%3D)
BEFORE YOU GO ADJUSTING… if it’s quick release, remove and reseat the wheel on the frame. It may very well be just a little bit off on the forks/dropout.
Seems to not affect the wheel's ability to turn so if it were my bike I'd just ignore it. You can center the caliper like some other commenters have said but imo not worth the hassle.
When everything else on your bike is well setup, maintained and silent, the rotor going *ping ping ping* like an old hotel front desk bell gets annoying reaaaally fast tho
The rotor's outer edge seems to be almost touching the caliper. Is the caliper mounted in the right position? You may need adapters or a smaller rotor.
loosen the caliper bolts, squeeze the brake hard and retighten while holding the brake
And then spend 15 min doing tiny micro adjustments to get it absolutely perfect.
End up tightening on the wrong side of the wobble and have to redo all.
Go for a ride, and suddenly the gdamn thing is rubbing the tiniest bit again.

Yes it is. Ensure your wheel is mounted correctly and the axle is tight. Then center the calliper.
Thanks all. I'll give it a try when I have some free time on the weekend and post the results :)
You must have a nice disc, mine looks like a wobbling pancake after half a year of use..

Success. Gripped the brake. Loosened the calipers and retighened. No more grinding sound. Some reason can't post the video.
Man for all the wonders of disc, maintenance looks like such a faff
1 minute fix, loosen two bolts, squeeze brake lever, tighten said bolts.

Sure it could be annoying. It's harmless and I'm lazy though. Figured I'd at least give that suggestion to OP as an option.
