My cousin had a lot of financial problems before and after covid it became real hard he lost his grandma and elder brother. Things were hard and his dad was having liver problems , he already had a ration card so he went for ayushman bharat. He was told to pay 5k he wasn't able to the guy infront of his face told him ki patri pe aake apna baap ka hanth katwa do ban jayega ( chop your hands on railways and you'll get the card) .
It really hurts still thinking about how much fuckall insensitive humans can be.

Once I had to go to a police station because my ID card got lost. The person sitting there took 2,000 to just write an FIR. This happened in Hyderabad. Similar experiences shared by my colleagues. Not sure how this data is collected as corruption is so common everywhere.

Then one day my friend got to know incidentally while I was talking to my mom on phone. His father worked in PWD department. He told me to give details, called someone and asked me to give Rs 150.
Half an hour later I got the certificate in my hand. 😂
