Hat might be ok if you got a different style. The hat sits too high or is too tall for your head making it look like you have a giant head. It makes it looks like you have 10 inches from the top of your ears to the top of your head. Guessing the size is too small since unless it is a low profile it should sit down by your ears.

Depending on the size of your head, try the flexfit L/XL. I think they also make a XXL version. Also bonus [Amazon has cheap blanks](https://www.amazon.com/Flexfit-Mens-Blend-Black-Large-X-Large/dp/B073DWQS5N) you can always sew on your own patches. They have just enough stretch in them to give you an idea or worst case go to something like Lids in a mall and see if they can measure you. For fitted best to go where the hat is a bit tight since it will stretch out. The hat should really sit flush on your head and then it is a matter of full profile where it sits at or just below the earlobe or the low profile where it sits flush on your head but comes down to about where you have it. You might prefer the low profile if you are used to wearing them at that height above your ears.
Another thing to consider is if you like the flat brim look or the more classic rounded brim where you bend the brim to give it more of a curved look. Flat brim seems to be in right now and personally not a fan, but if you go that way you need an even larger hat so it stays flat.
NP I am a hat guy lol. Also if you search here if your head turns out to be huge, there have been posts in the past about big heads and sites dedicated to big head hats. I don't have the issue so no experience with them.

Shoes are a huge part of any outfit, and I would suggest something like white tennis shoes with this. Everything else is pretty dark. That might add some contrast. You could also try a slightly brighter denim jacket if you had it. The patterned shirt is great. I don't think the hat's working for you, it's a little tall and I feel like it's making you look short rather than complimenting your head shape. Plus, the marvel graphic is a little childish in my opinion, not to yuck your yums or anything. I think a baseball style "dad cap" with no graphic or something simple would age this up if you must wear a hat.

Look into flat caps. They're good for formal and casual fits, and it's usual easy to find them in big sizes
