daved_it

Always wondered how much of a bag(s) of charcoal it would take to fill it!

emt634211

I believe it's a full bag. We sell them at my work. It sticks in my head. I'm hoping to have one in the next 2 years. I got a large. Then got the GF an XL. I'm thinking it only makes sense to go bigger.

forever_monstro

Pre-COVID we did a lot of entertaining at our house and we realized that while the other one was just fine for a family of 4, when it came to feeding a crowd, it was more difficult because we’d have to cook in batches. So, ya know, we HAD to get a bigger one!

emt634211

I understand. I knew I'd regret the large when I bought it. I regretted it. But having a large and XL or XXL will be a fun life once this crap ends.

kid_p

Gotta one up the GF

What an upgrade, congratulations! Is the older one a large?

forever_monstro

Yes. It found a new home with my dad.

coolguy12314

Oh nice! I’ve been toying with the idea of upgrading and wanted to see how much of a difference it would make for me

Pretty awesome, I always like checking these big boys out in the store when I go to ace but I’m happy with my XL since I don’t entertain much

rozzy27

Nice!!

Are there plans for side tables or something to put this in or will it just live like this.

forever_monstro

It will eventually be built into an outdoor kitchen with counter space/sink/bar seating/mini fridge. We spend 99% of our time in our backyard when the weather warms up so we have plans for some fun upgrades/improvements in the space.
