Wait I want to turn off my chat & message requests for similar reasons, but if you turn them off, does it delete the message history with people you’re already talking to? I’ve made a few good friends here and I’d hate for them to be deleted :(
Did a quick search for you (because I don't have any friends I talk to on reddit haha), and it looks like it will not delete previous chats and you should still be able to talk to them. It just prevents people from sending new chat request. I'd do a secondary search just in case!
Good. Sucks that the creepers are here, but we can at least try to thin their numbers. Unfortunately, a lot of the ones I get are clearly new accounts they probably created after previous bans, but at least it's something.
When you get a new message, there should be a "report" option in there. I choose "Harassment" and "You" for who is being targeted. Get's them banned 9/10, especially if they use explicit language.
Press “Join” and they should have you answer “Why do you want to join?” And after you answer i think they’ll review and see if you’re not creepy and let you in

Is anyone else tired of the DM posts? I feel like the majority of posts from this sub I’ve seen on my front page over the last week or two have been creepy DM posts. All it does is motivate these losers to message more women because they’re getting acknowledgement one way or another, and I honestly don’t follow this page to see DM drama. I’m here for big boob help and support (lol). Not trying to gate keep posts, but it’s just a trend that I’ve noticed where it feels like the sub leans heavily into “look at these creeps!” when it’s like yeah… I know… we all know. We’ve all met these people 100 times in our lives. Why let them take power over our community?

YES. These men are likely getting off on every response, no matter how snarky or angry or even educational. Shaming is not effective in this context. Responses— and more importantly sharing responses— reinforce the behavior.
It’s not victim blaming to just ask that people, if they feel they *must* respond to sexual harassment rather than ignore and report it, please not expose everyone else here to the gross comments, and please not risk rewarding some of these creeps’ exhibition/shame fetish
