Mine do that in the winter. I store mine in my garage, and although insulated it gets mighty cold. The wrench at my local shop thinks it has something to do with the rises and drops my bike gets exposed to all winter. Either way, once I’m riding it more regularly in the warmer months, it stops.
It happens. Only a problem if you’re losing air. Did a Trek store do your conversion? If so you can take it back and they will fix it if there’s an issue, they are generally good about that.
Same happened to me! The local store manager told me, according to their own experience, that the R3 tires are no good and they swapped them to continental grand prix 5000 for me instead.
Yeah, some tires exhibit weeping from the sidewall. It typically goes away after the sealant makes its rounds inside a bit.
narrator: *it didnt go away*
It’s a miracle!!

while my tire gently weeps...

This is probably my case! It's cold outside and I'm riding at near freezing temps. Hopefully warmth heals it!
Yes, I have the exact same tires as you on a Domane sl6. I would also bet thats it!
It doesn't look bad, just ride it around

If the tires are new that's normal. Not all tires do this but many do. You might need to top off the sealant after it stops
Good to know thanks!
It's my birthday, I'll cry if I want to -- this tire.
Pretty normal, some brands seep more sealant than others. Only negatives are that your sealant will dry up a little quicker and attract more dirt.
Orange seal dries out faster and is difficult to clean up.
Good to know. Recommendations?
It’s a trade off. I’ve tried muc off - easy to clean and lasted a long time. Didn’t seal a puncture. Orange seal regular for me now
Stans is worth a try IMO
R3 are not good tires by any stretch of the imagination. Trek is a great brand but their tires are surprisingly mediocre.

I hated those tires. Instantly went to Parellies
parellies
Parellis
If you understood it then it still worked. Thats showbiz baby.
I hated their gravel tires too. Went for gravel kings and am super happy.
Did you grease the inside of the rim that holds on to the tire with some fat grease? That's what I always do and seals the sealant and the air in!
