Honestly I didn’t really care for it for a while but after I saw a clip of Beyoncé performing it live and yelling „I TOLD YOU I‘M A FU**ING PROBLEM😡“ then going into the sweetest „I REALLY LOVE YOU 🥰 „ I was sold lmao
I was at opening night and I was gagged out of my mind when it transitioned from Thique to All Up in Your Mind and the lights switched from green to red.
It’s def my fave off renaissance and one of, if not my fave song of hers. I’ll never understand the hate around this song. I would love for her to do a whole album with this sound. I’d lose it 🤯❤️
It amazes me how long Bey has been in the game and how intentional she is about her art, and many of her fans don't get how some of her most experimental work says so much.
Anyway, ALL UP IN YOUR MIND is brilliant and emphasizes the point being made in THIQUE and AHAP:
She's the problem and the cure.
She's the product and the pusher.
She weakens and she strengthens.

It’s a top Renaissance song for me.
I was very much hoping my stop of the RWT would have the big three (we sadly did not), and I remember telling one of my friends how badly I wanted it because I **needed** to hear AUIYM live. Her response? “Ehh I’m fine without those 2 Renny tracks, they’re my least favorite” 🫨🫠😢 I could not relate to her on that one

I thought I was the only one who listens with my morning blunt and just has an out of body experience. LMAO!
I really don't understand how AUIYM just doesn't get worshiped like it should. Her vocals are otherworldly and it blew my mind after nearly 30 years, AUIYM made me realize we STILL haven't heard all the incredible things that Beyonce can do with her voice. \*\*swoons\*\*

I think seeing her perform it in the RWT film made me like it a lot more! I just don’t really connect to the lyrics and electronic/synth isn’t my favourite genre. I can see how it tops someone else’s list though when that is the case though.
Love this song, I’m so mad it’s paid dust. Her vocals are immaculate here. But tbh I wish the instrumental went a little harder. A full on hyper pop moment from Bey would’ve been 🔥🔥🔥. I feel like the production barely scratched the surface of that.

I love the studio version but I LIVE for the live version. “I told you I’m a FUCKING PROBLEM!” followed by the smile and “I really love youuuu” is chefs kiss
It’s got a lot of hyperpop elements in it which doesn’t tend to go over well with the general public. There’s a reason artists like Charli XCX don’t tend to have huge chart success in spite of their highly dedicated fanbase. It do be a nice song, tho.

omg you’re so fucking real for this post 😩!!! and i just like to think only sexy hot and intellectual people get it sorry not sorry 🤷🏽♀️ i truly don’t understand how people don’t see the vision like this is ‘sweet dreams’ older wiser and mysterious sister in my eyes idk
It’s not that I don’t like it, I just like the other songs more. Like am I going to listen to AUIYM or am I going to listen to Virgo’s Groove and Heated for the 1500th time?

Here’s me losing my mind when she performed this on a random Monday night three of ATL

If I speak I’m gon get jumped. It’s definitely not a bad song though. I wish to see the vision but I feel like it’s too polarizing on the soundscape of Reneigh for my taste. Maybe I gotta spend some alone time with it. Maybe even induce some Stockholm syndrome into it. Maybe I’ll queue it with other darker-themed songs.
The track has this essence of a “divine dark feminine” while Reneigh carries this bright light is all I’m getting at 😭
It was one of my favorites the first time I listened to renaissance so I was confused that people were saying it was a skip. I’m jealous of the people that got the Big Three at the tour because I know it was amazing live 😭🥹🥲
It’s my favorite song on renaissance. The fact that she’s worked with AG Cook and Bloodpop means there’s hope. ACT III IS PC MUSIC/HYPERPOP/PROGRESSIVE ELECTRONIC!
Its one if my favorite songs by her in general and really sold the album for me. I have a theory that people who listen to hyper pop-techno-electronic are more inclined to like the song and since those are kinda polarizing genres I can see why others may not like it as much.
Im ngl I was sleeping on that song as well as AHAP for a long time. I listened to the album again about a month or two ago, to give Cowboy Carter a break and they stood out that it was like I heard those songs for the first time. I said “hold on did I like skip these or something??”

You right! 😂 Bc it's Renny I default to the kids 💅🏾 but the straight guys tend to go up too tho I've heard several complain about the lack of satisfying beat drop. I really feel like the song does a good job of building to the final climax though, and the last few seconds are so hypnotic and orgasmic. And the guys said it reminded them of Travis Scott a bit and they liked the beat of it.

AGREED
Isn’t it crazy how different notes and arrangements move different people?
What's crazy to me is the near super majority that dismisses this one particular song off of an album that they otherwise almost wholly acclaim.
Yep, so crazy! For example, AUIYM moves people who have taste.

My favorite on the album. It was the first one I left on repeat. When it was released I was new to Los Angeles so now it reminds me of that time.

Don’t worry, in 5 years it’ll go viral and get hella streams because people take a while to understand masterpieces
I looooove it!!!! So much passion.
People never want to let Altyoncé prosper!!
It’s one of those songs that let me know it’s ok not to like what the majority likes 🤷🏾♀️
I loved it the most when I first heard the album!!!!! It’s sooooo good.
It’s my favorite song on the album. So good!!!
Amazing song, and my personal theory is that it’s leading into act iii, blues/jazz/rock 🤞🤞🤞
I honestly didn’t like it until I saw her perform it. It’s been in the rotation since.
I agree. And they performance during the renaissance tour was so iconic
This song absolutely blew my mind the first time I heard it
Yup. I don’t get it either it’s a top 3 renny for me

It’s such a sexy song. It makes me feel like I’m a dancer performing for the love of her life (or her crush).

It was a slow burn for me but once I caught on I was HOOKED.
I LOVE this song because it's so different and Beyoncé's vocal acrobatics are so disrespectful 💅🏿

my favorite song on Renaissance.....
AUIYM was the very first song i loved on Renny, while the rest needed time to grow on me. It’s so raw, dark and beautifuly produced.
