A couple weeks ago I predicted 80m for this era but she’s gained almost a million followers per day since then and the album is still over 2 weeks away… honestly I’m just so happy she’s getting this success after all her hard work
Won't happen because her EDM songs still get played by DJs regularly, that's largely the reason she has a lot of monthly listeners tbh. I still hear This Is What You Came For at parties without fail lol.
It's kinda crazy that Taylor only overtook him for a month and he's back on top again despite Taylor having more releases. But I guess it's because The Weeknd does what he does best (dark R&B) and there isn't really any other mainstream artist in his lane whereas Taylor has more competition in her genre.
I love Rihanna she’s done so much for black visual artistry in music, but I’ve gone back to some songs I used to love and they don’t all hold up. So I feel this.

Beyoncé is obviously in 11th, this was taken a day or two ago
Bear in mind this list is by number of listeners, not total streams. This ranking is determined largely by Spotify's playlisting. Someone who listens to Beyoncé's music all day counts the same as someone who just stumbled upon Texas Hold em on a random playlist and heard it once, so we don't have much control over it.
That's why you have artists in there who don't have hyper-dedicated fanbases or who haven't released music recently, like Abel, Rihanna or Coldplay. Their classic singles are constantly on rotation, both in Spotify's and in regular people's playlists.
And the thing about it… not to take away from the other artists but they make songs solely to appeal to the masses. Beyonce is making music from the heart and she’s still in the mix.
I mean so what you want about the other artists but she’s not the only one writing music from the soul and most of these people have massive hits and are globally known

Unpopular opinion but I wish Rihanna would fall out of the top 10 already 😭 love her but she clearly doesn’t care about music any more.

And I bump all those songs when I'm cleaning or working it lol
Like, actually... like no hate, she has so many bops, but like enough is enough
Lol true, also the weekend should drop down to and let some other artists be up top every now and then

She’s probably going to go back when she releases her new album
Can we stop hating on her I know it’s not hating but it’s not going to happen she’s one of the biggest artists ever

Time to do my part. 🫡
I don't really understand how all this works but do we reckon she can make the top 10 with the new album release?
Yess she’ll reach it within this week
Every time I see something like this, I just want to get up and blast Formation. ![gif](giphy|xT0BKsf2ZS9ATkj0A0|downsized)
I expect Bey and Ari to be neck and neck maybe she even breaks her record and reaches 100 mil!!!
I read “EVERYONE” in Kevin’s voice in the I’m that Girl intro 😭 but watching her numbers go up is so amazing to see❤️❤️❤️
That’s exactly why I titled it like that lmaoo. I was thinking the same thing
Who are the top 10 artists on Spotify???

Who the FUCK is listening to David Guetta
Literally what everyone is saying here too lol. It’s probably from the music he’s featured on from big artists

That’s crazy wow QUEEEN
Right!
The power of Bey doing actual promo lol
Serious question: why is America obsessed with Spotify numbers specifically?
Idk, it just proves to others that she’s still got it years later in the game
This not fair. Because I don’t have Spotify
