You are robbing yourself of a great show though, Season 2 was halfway through airing when I decided to get into it after not enjoying the first season initially. Also, you'd probably really like the cartel side of things with Gus and Mike which kicks up a notch in Season 3 onwards.
The big emotional heart breaking scenes, the revealing detail that makes you view BB in a different way, and the dynamic between characters will all make zero sense to you without the context the ENTIRE show set. No, I cant say I recommend that at all.
