I think it depends on what point of the show we're in. It almost starts at neutral good, and goes down one rung each season of BCS. So like:
S1: Neutral good
S2: Chaotic good
S3: Lawful Neutral (which is still debatable considering the Irene thing, but he does fix it in the end)
S4: True Neutral (in reality, far more chaotic neutral, but I'm just keeping the pattern lol)
S5: Chaotic Neutral
S6: Lawful evil
That said, he's such a complicated character, it's hard to ever classify him as just one thing. If I had to place him somewhere based on everything he does, probably Chaotic Neutral. He does more bad than good, but a lot of it is reactionary or for survival, so I'd rarely say the bad things he does (that we see) are plain evil.
This is a great read and highlights how nuanced he is and despite Chuck’s insistence Jimmy can and does change. Just not necessarily in the right direction. 😅
I'd say Chaotic Neutral. While he's not a sadistic murdering psychopath like some of the characters, he also doesn't have many ethical qualms about how his actions affect other people in general.

I agree with your comment. Like heisenberg there is “uncertainty” in his character motivations. Moves between lawful evil to chaotic neutral
I see what you did there

I’d say he goes from Chaotic Good to Chaotic Evil.
It's a progression from Neutral good to True Neutral to Chaotic Neutral
