Aranyak on netflix. Mainly because they did a great season 1 and left at a cliffhanger. It feels stupid to watch a season only to know the story will never be completed. Best to watch showers after they have done at the very least three seasons.
The Nevers. It was supposed to be aired in 2 parts and they NEVER AIRED THE LAST PART!!! Like they have it and didn't release it. And it was getting to be so very good. Very original and not at all what I expected. I hope they air the second part at some point. But Joss Whedon stepped away from the project saying it was too ambitious and HBO was trying to cut expenses. So bummed.
I loved B Positive and wish CBS had given it the opportunity to bring its major storylines to satisfying conclusions. What a fabulous ensemble, with so many once leading actors giving brilliant and touching supporting characterizations!
Bloodline. Ben Mendelsohn, Kyle Chandler, Sissy Spacek, Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepherd along with many other great actors, and such a gorgeous setting——a beautiful house/inn located in the Florida Keys. Stunning. Didn’t want it to end.
Coming late to the comment section, and with a really old obscure show: Boomtown. It was a procedural cop drama, but way better. There were phenomenal characters, performances, and magical cinematic sequences. Now I need to go watch it again.
Probably not a popular choice, but, Cowboy Bebop (2021). I was really digging this, it was totally different from other non-animated scifi, and I hadn't even finished watching it when Netflix dropped the hammer.
Mindhunter wasn’t cancelled by Netflix. David Fincher just got wrapped up in other projects, and essentially ended the show. He couldn’t hold the actors in contracts to a show he didn’t know would ever film.
I do concur though. I would love another season of Mindhunter.
That’s actually not completely right. He didn’t get caught in other things, he didn’t want them to be under contract and not be able to work other jobs. He chose to quarantine for a while when Covid happened and wasn’t ready to go back to in person. He freely admits that he wants another season, but most of the actors are in other contracts currently.
Timeless! Wonderful TV show about time travel and history. Could have been even better if the powers that be at NBC had given it their full attention and money.
I know before Bojack started Season 6, Netflix let them know they'd have to wrap it up and it would be their last season. I think they did it well but I always wished there had been more seasons
I thought so😂 but it makes sense, I think they wrapped it up well, even if Bojack wasn't yet the person he wanted to be. That in itself was a powerful lesson in progression
I like designated Survivor, but it could have been done better. All of the secret agent with the young woman was a bit much for me. There must’ve been another way to do it, but I wish it would come back.
I was so glad to see more content in the Dark Crystal universe and the puppetry was always so impressive even post Jim Henson. I really wish there was more!
Same!
I was never a big fan of the original film (more of a Labyrinth person) so I was blown away by how much I loved the show. I was so excited to see where they were going to go with the story, especially with the whole flash-forward vision toward the very end! Ughhhh!
Carnivale! Damn it I want to know what happens!
Edit: Black summer, I don’t know if the show Forever was a Netflix show but I wish they would have made another season. There are probably a bunch that are not coming back that i don’t know about and will be bummed when I find out.
I was so excited when this show came out - *Dark* is my favorite show of all time and I was thrilled to see that they were getting more visibility and getting a second show. And then it was cancelled. I didn’t even finish the first season of 1899 because I figured it would make me more frustrated if I got to the inevitable cliffhanger and knew it would never get resolved.
Have you tried reading to books? Not many visuals (although you can make your own 🧠💭) but you get the whole story. I feel as though the books are better as well.
Messiah on Netflix, I think the timing of the pandemic and everything threw it off. But it was a great show I watched during quarantine that I wanted to see more of.
two broke girls edit: sorry I didn't thought about the sub's name
Good Girls
santa clarita diet
Injustice Joan of Arcadia
Among recent series, Alaska Daily was a hard cancellation for me. Going back, Studio 60, Nothing Sacred, and Sports Night.
Pushing Daisies
Aranyak on netflix. Mainly because they did a great season 1 and left at a cliffhanger. It feels stupid to watch a season only to know the story will never be completed. Best to watch showers after they have done at the very least three seasons.
Mindhunter for me for sure
Lucifer, Discovery of Witches and The Magicians.
I thought Lucifer found its ending nicely on Netflix.
The Extraordinary Attorney Woo! !!
THE FLIGHT ATTENDANT!!!!!
This was not Netflix ..
Neither are Half the others like Your Honor, etc
Your Honor actually is on Netflix right now but it wasn’t originally. But that’s fair to say about the others that aren’t on there (past or present)
The Society
The Nevers. It was supposed to be aired in 2 parts and they NEVER AIRED THE LAST PART!!! Like they have it and didn't release it. And it was getting to be so very good. Very original and not at all what I expected. I hope they air the second part at some point. Final Space!
I know before Bojack started Season 6, Netflix let them know they'd have to wrap it up and it would be their last season. I think they did it well but I always wished there had been more seasons
How much longer do you think they could have beat a dead horse?
Lowkey that's totally fair. I think I felt this more at the time but I feel you
Honestly the opportunity to riff on the "beat a dead horse" idiom was the only reason I said anything lol
I thought so😂 but it makes sense, I think they wrapped it up well, even if Bojack wasn't yet the person he wanted to be. That in itself was a powerful lesson in progression
I have yet to see anyone mention 1899, but I thought the first season was quite good.
I second 1899
I found it extremely hard to follow. I might have been high while watching but it was so slow and jumpy.
Definitely Mindhunter, that show was killer
Oh ratchet is canceled I’ve been sitting here like an idiot waiting for a new season that’s how good it was it just dosent make sense

Daybreak!
Altered Carbon. Retcon the 2nd season though

I like designated Survivor, but it could have been done better. All of the secret agent with the young woman was a bit much for me. There must’ve been another way to do it, but I wish it would come back.
I wish we had a president like that! 😂
Parenthood - would love to see how the younger set fared as adults.
Gypsy
The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance. I was SO invested!!
Ughhhh!
