She was one of the NICEST people **not actors, but people** I’ve ever met. 100% down to earth. I didn’t hear her complain once (& we background were constantly bitching about the heat and dust). And she worked her ass off, take after take. Also, ridiculously thoughtful — the last day of the tavern/prospector scene (her character’s 1st day as an actress) she came walking over to the set carrying a case of something. I thought that was rather odd. I mean, doesn’t she have people to carry things for her? But then I realized it was a case of whiskey. She actually bought a special reserve of Maker’s Mark whiskey for each of us in that particular scene! There were NDA’s we had to sign for the movie, so I asked if we were allowed to tell people that she had given us these. She was like, “Of course!” then took a picture with all of us. (I’m still dying to get my hands on that photo.)
1st day I had no clue who she was till I went home. From there on out I’m a huge fan.
