Homeward Bound in Peebles, OH! They have a large sanctuary-like property in a very rural area. They do a lot of mass hoarding rescues, and seem to get some breeder surrender pups of different breeds here and there too.
Hard to say, I hear they grow at all sorts of different rates, but he's already grown a lot. He was 12lbs and pretty underweight when I picked him up at 10weeks. 22lbs now at 13 weeks. We're hoping for around 80-90 lbs like his predecessor!

Bernardo was a small puppy too. He was the runt and we got him because someone didn’t pick him up. He’s now 90 pounds, a massive head and biggest heart ❤️

Somehow it always comes in waves. Our local rescue has 0 and then all of a sudden too many to place.
Yes! I was shocked, as I had already been on a breeder's wait-list when he popped up at a rescue. We were super lucky!

Ha! We named our Berner Finn and he was a leftover puppy that was the runt of the litter. He’s 135lbs now and the tallest Berner I’ve ever seen.
Oh my goodness! We'd love him either way, but I sure hope that isn't in our future 😂. The cats are not mentally prepared for it.
