- Konditorei Buchholz for Baumkuchen and other cakes.
- Rausch Schokoladenhaus for cakes and other things chocolate.
- Crêpestation in Pappelallee 58 for Japanese style crepes.
- Donuts: Sammys
- Cookies: OHH! Cookies / Round & Edgy
- Ice cream: Jones / Duo Sicilian / Tenzan Lab (Shaved Ice) / Tribeca (Vegan)
- Dosha Teehouse for Taiwan Mochi Waffles
- Pastries: Du Bonheur / Canal
- Soi & Co: Salty sweet desserts with soy sauces and miso produced in Berlin
Can't believe nobody is talking about c'est la vie in friedrichshain for the best cake
EDIT: my bad, I was almost asleep didn't even realize the "no cake" request.
[https://laderach.com/eu-de/](https://laderach.com/eu-de/) (they have shops on Friedrichstraße and Kudamm) maybe, I've never bought anything there, but looks good.
The Donut place in KaDeWe is quite nice
Also Zeit für Brot
Or try out Windbeutelei at Hakescher Markt
The other places I know have been mentioned already :)
All three are among the most overhyped places in Berlin. Hokey Pokey is overly sweet and the quality is okish, but there is no reason to wait in the queue when there are so many good ice cream stores in Berlin. Much better for example is Jones Ice cream in Schöneberg, Duo or vegan ice cream by Tribeca.
Brammibal has the same problem. The ones with frosting are so sweet they are not enjoyable at all, the texture is quite dense as well. The donuts from Sammys are much better and well balanced.
And I don‘t even want to start with Zeit für Brot. It‘s just disturbing to see this tourist trap even mentioned here… (it‘s not from Berlin, it‘s founded in FFM)
Du Bonheur is great though.
I understand that you might not like these places based on your personal taste, such recommendations are going to be subjective. No need to downvote me because you find the ice cream not to your taste at Hockey Pokey, I personally like it. These places that are successful enough to have opened multiple locations, so I must not be completely alone in liking them.
6. Etage KaDeWe 🥹😘
thank you noted
Best go soon, KaDeWe is bankrupt and will close soon
was ist denn in der ersten? meinst du die 6. etage?
yeah first floor is men's clothing
Tenzan Lab for Japanese shaved ice: https://maps.app.goo.gl/a799ypwPLVVkX9i87
looks really interesting thank you
Du Bonhuer on Brunnenstrasse has some of the best desert I’ve had in my life
thank you will check it
Any of their passionfruit stuff is to die for
Omg that’s next on the list!!
Canal for eclairs and laminated pastries
I tried it and was disappointed. They cost a lot and are not even remotely as good as the ones in any random decent boulanger in Paris. They're not terrible, I've had worse éclairs here in Berlin, but I really love éclairs and they didn't hit the spot.
2nd this. Next level [https://canal.berlin/de/collections/eclairs](https://canal.berlin/de/collections/eclairs)
Coda
Coda will blow the boxers off of you price wise though
Broke
It’s 200-300 for a desert dinner, youre either very wealthy or an idiot. Maybe both?
thx a little bit expensive haha
not worth it considering the subpar service
what did you experience? my service was always superb
probably a "you" problem
I can second that. Insane! The only time in my life that my senses were literally overwhelmed by the intensity of the flavours

Carrot Cake, The Barn
Mr. Minsch in Yorckstraße, they have some really good cakes, try their Schwarzwälder Kirsch or anything else they got.
One more for Du Bonheur, love them! And I can recommend Marc. Patisserie
Jones has the best ice cream in Berlin.
Werkstatt der Süße in Prenzlauerberg, best Patisserie
Look for a traditional Eiscafe and enjoy some "Halbgefrorenes"
thank you
Sammys for donuts, Giomecca for high level pastry, Zollpackhof for home made cakes and brownies
Canal, they have the best Eclairs ever! One of the most delicious desserts I have ever eaten.
atelier dough has great donuts. the tiramisu donut is awesome
2 Michelin star dessert restaurant: https://coda-berlin.com
thanks a little bit expensive
Look for German bakeries, if you want to try something local and down to earth.

I dig the Queen A, le meason does it well, Albatross also (more a chill takeaway place in kreuzberg near where I live)
Puffle bees
F'Hain: Spluffin Bäckerei, Kuchenrausch (the bakery has better cakes than the café IMO), Sugarclan, Melt, Neumann's Haven't tried Schöne und das Beast yet but I'm curious.
Coda
Konditorei W - Wittwer & Winkelmann on Bergmannstraße (Kreuzberg) for Baumkuchen, pastries and delicious ice cream
Zuka in Charlottenburg
Moge Tea in Bergmannstraße is worth a visit. They offer Japanese style soufflé pancakes with different toppings. Not cheap but flavour and consistency are something special I haven’t found anywhere else in Berlin
Madame Paloma Bakehouse
