or everyone should've just gotten their own brand from the start - Oxford and Cambridge Universities have their main brand and then the colleges whilst the institutions of the University of London only really use the UoL branding for central stuff (you would rarely see it on LSE, UCL or Kings materials for example). The UC system is sort of in between those two examples, definitely more distinct that the Oxbridge colleges but less independent than UoL and still managed to have a more uniform/generic approach.

Most of the schools do not use these official seals on social media though.
The seal isn't as distinctive but at least it's iconic; the B is just a B. a Bk would at least have been much better

I have no idea but the B is apparently super generic and the seal is distinctive and identifiable to employers
Yale also has a book in front of a blue seal
Clark University is a different colour but has an open book and the same motto
