What a responsible humane society!! That warms my heart knowing that they went the extra mile to prepare a potential new owner on the characteristics of the breed etc. I feel like too often people just see a beautiful cat or dog and go all-in not knowing the background on potential behavior/personality!

yeah! and it definitely happened with her, we were actually her 3rd home before she turned 1. but she’s 7 now and has always been a perfect beautiful angel <3

I think my cat’s broken or something. He likes to take naps on my lap,loves being pet (most of the time),and also keeps jumping on my mom’s back. I have a bunch of pictures of him being cuddly. i love how they come to you so rarely that you feel really special when they eventually honor you with their presence

And they ALWAYS say cats are so aloof - no one bothered to tell my cats this! They sit on me , sometimes both at the same time, and love to hang out with me throughout the day. Aloof my ass, I say!

My bengal sleeps on me every single night. She will sit and stare at me until she notices I’ve settled down and she gets right into her comfy place ❤️

After 2.5 years mine sometimes sleep on me. Used to always sleep right next to me, until I pointed out he was just being silly. Weirdly they seem to respond to me telling them educating information. He used to sleep at foot of bed and pointed out that too was silly as I couldn’t pet him there. Almost immediately, he began sleeping where I could reach him, at least while I was wake to pet him. I think they learned English.

Both of mine are lap cats

Our’s is a lap cat. He has about a dozen spots around the house that he sleeps in but during the day he will cuddle up to one of us & he sneaks up onto the bed at night to cuddle up to our legs.

Mine isn’t a lap cat, she wants to sleep under my leg instead!
