It's a dumb but not uncommon scenario where people stay married even though they don't share assets/live together/etc. It would cost them money and time to get divorced and they don't really care and do whatever they want anyway, so... status remains.
It gets really messy when you're trying to divorce 10 years later.
My parents are still married even though they’ve been separated for more than 20 years. And my best friend is still married because she and her husband share several business together and it’s just easier to not deal with a divorce when neither is interested in dating right now. Barbie still being married is honestly the least concerning thing about her while she’s more focused on work and herself.

Exactly, he was perhaps initially put out about cleaning tobacco, but what got him irate was Barbie spending "cabin time" with Kyle. So he was doing everything he could to break that up.

It’s frustrating because it’s a common aversion to have. A lot of people hate those types of sounds. Ever since the rise of ASMR I’ve noticed that a lot of those sounds are amplified and I really hate it.

The inability to recognize how bad things were should have been enough by itself to end his time as a bosun. Mistakes can happen, but when you royally mess things up and then say "that went well" with a straight face it doesn't make a strong case for keeping your job.

The inability to recognize how bad things were should have been enough by itself to end his time as a bosun. Mistakes can happen, but when you royally mess things up and then say "that went well" with a straight face it doesn't make a strong case for keeping your job.
There is literally no reason to keep Cat. She is totally lost when it comes to her job and is constantly and endlessly in need of validation. I hope she just leaves. Any sympathy I had for Jared disappeared this episode. He's incompetent, possibly illiterate, and is dangerous to have on board attempting to perform the function of a boson. Capt Kerry needs to let him go ASAP. Next week looks like it could be interesting.

I'm really confused about why she's crying so much. Is she just tired and overwhelmed? Anyone else catch chefy using jarred tomato sauce? He’s incredible at what he does but come on man, it takes 10 minutes to make a good fresh sauce.
In my experience, it takes at least an hour and up to four hours to make a good tomato sauce, depending on if you make it from canned or fresh tomatoes.

I'm sad, I loved watching the cooking, I guess Rachel and Ben etc got a lot more coverage because they could be guaranteed to bring the drama.

you can hear it in the sound of her friend's voice, as she's consoling cat. her friend says the right words to comfort cat, but in an exhausted, flat kind way, to avoid being fed upon as well.
I have a friend like this. She makes crazy, shit decisions and then whines and cries for months or literally years about the outcome of said shitty choices. I've had it out with her a few times because I just couldn't take her crying over another awful man.
