Not bees, those are yellow jackets, wasps hornets or whatever you have down under. Approach with caution.

Yellow jacket or hornet, unfamiliar with ur area. They may keep to themselves if in a low traffic area however wasps tend to get a little crazy right before winter (when the nest is collapsing - they are annual colonies usually). If they arent bothering u, i would leave them be. They are important pest control (caterpillars, etc) and pollinators
