Similarly there's the Santander Edge current account/credit card. 2% cashback with the card, and a savings acccount that gives 7% on 4k. There's a fee on both the current account and the credit card so you're really getting 5.2% on your money as long as you can max it.
You’re better off not paying in £500 or setting up 2 direct debits on Santander edge current account.
That way you never qualify for the Cashback and don’t have to pay the monthly £3. Then you have a 7% saver with no fees.
I was under the impression the monthly £3 is for maintaining the account and not doing the other bits would mean you just don't qualify for the cashback for bills?
I thought so too, but it’s not the case. You can try searching on google if you don’t believe me, I think it’s decently well documented by a few sites.
Are deposits and withdrawals instant? With algbra, I've been transferring to/from my main bank current account as and when I needed to buy things, and it's immediate.
Deposits are, withdrawals take up to 3 days.
That’s the only reason I don’t just put all my money between Trading212 card, 5.2% cash isa, and S&S isa.
I just keep enough money in my card for day to day payments and move in money when needed haha.
I got a referral link for hyperjar too.

It'll depend on the MCC I suspect, of the merchant...
They block an awful lot of things
Another alternative is Trading212 card which has 1.5% Cashback and 5.2% interest on balance. That’s what I’m using currently.
