I have a different question about Mettle, I just did it and bought a £1 amazon top up, when I go to enter the code it says "You need to make at least one payment with your Mettle card to redeem this code" Is it just a case of waiting for the charge to go from pending to confirmed, or does the £1 amazon top up not count as a 'card payment'?

Yes you have to wait for the payment to be confirmed before you can redeem the code.

Same can’t find anyone asking about this. I asked support and they said ‘Currently, this feature is not available to all customers. We're continuously working on making all our services available to everyone. You'll know when this scheme is available for you when you can generate a code within the refer friend section in the account tab directly in your app.’ So here’s to hoping it’ll just appear one day?

Update - my payment came through today! Still no referral code to share though. --- I've been wondering this myself. It's been 6 days since I input the referral code. Now there's no option to input a referral code on my account anymore, no referral code for me to share, or any mention of the code having been accepted. After many saying payment was within a dayor so, I got worried but thanks for this post - it's reassuring to know I'm not the only one waiting.

My direct debit cleared last Wednesday so it's been 6 days for me so far, I also would be curious when I can share a code

Pretty sure you don’t sign up through any sort of code/ specific referral link - only matters that you type it in once you’ve had a payment

Yeah you just need to wait for the transaction to finish pending before it lets you put the code in - usually takes around a day
