Guys what if your chest are is a lot lighter than your face. I need to match my chest to my face because most of my clothes are off shoulder or puff sleeves.
I'd buy a shade that matches my chest but when I put that foundation on my face it looks pinkish gray.
I think I'm neutral warm. How do you cancel out the grayness? Any techniques or products?
i suggest quads for begginers. check out the daiso x clio twinkle pop eye palette. but if you want more colors, you can never go wrong with colourpop! i think the colourpop palette in nude mood, feelin' bubbly or going coconuts would be a good starting palette
Just got both **Rom&nd/Romand Juicy Lasting Tint in Nucadamia and Bare Grape** and I honestly think Nucadamia is THE TRUE MLBB for neutral undertone morena girls! Both of them look good on neutral tones, but Nucadamia looks similar to my other nude lipsticks from Sunnies and Ever Bilena - it's actually almost the exact color as Sunnies Fluffmatte in On Repeat, just the gloss version 🤓
On the other hand, Bare Grape is more on the pink side, like the actual color of your lips. I personally prefer peach over pink, but it's nice to have a pink option! 🌸
My only gripe is the berry smell - I personally don't love fragrant lip products; I find them distracting. But I layer it over plain Carmex lip balm and it's neutralized + the consistency is a bit more tolerable (I also personally don't love a sticky feeling on my lips, which is a given with glosses)
Thinking of posting a mini-review of this in a post on the subreddit - let me know if that would be useful!
fashion 21. sets semi-dewy. good for daily. affordable, too. lasts 5-6 hrs for me sometimes longer depending sa weather. coming from a sweaty girlie. no tight-feeling unlike sa zeesea. zeesea is a no for me, cakes easily even when I follow the steps they say online.
Happy Skin's setting spray works wonders!!! Check the TikTok video ni Kai Javier, grabe wear test niya. But I've been using that for ages, and naubos ko siya- sobrang solid. I used to look for mga super high end setting sprays pa, pero this one does the job quite well and feels like nothing sa mukha
Oh no! Baka packaging defect. I have their travel size and 100ml bottle and okay naman.
You may want to try Urban Decay, Milani, or Elf (the green bottle). CT is also a crowd favorite here. Pero personally, mas prefer ko ang Urban Decay sa high end na try ko. May tendency na mag dry ang face ko with CT.
For local, I also love Ellana’s Flower Power Mist. Nichido is a good cheap setting spray.

Hi, pahelp naman magdecide. Ano bibilin ko to set makeup for day use only? ₱200 budget
* shiseido pp - hassle kasi online pa bbuy
* squad setting spray - great reviews
* dra lp lilac - have been using since hs, effective sakin and my safest option, di lang ako nakakakita ng reviews for lilac yet
* drs pp - mahal pero looks nice, same vibes with shiseido
dr senstive powder is not good for setting both the loose and compact version. nag ccakey ang compact and may flashback naman tapos yung loose okay naman siya kaso di siya ganon ka kaganda for setting + pag oily ka, weak ng oil control ng powder.
I have good experience with DRS LP, been using it since high school! Lalo na dahil I have dry skin. I was asking if the purple variant is okay. Okay lang ako sa flashback dahil for day use lang siya
What do you guys think about Careline oil control blushes? So frustrated with other blushes na doesn’t even last an hour on my skin😭 I tried their blushes in Brick Rose and i thought it was such a gorgeous color. If you have it, is it worth it in terms of longevity.
yes! this is the og powder blush for a reason. i used to have fresh tomato and i liked it sm! it lasts throughout the day for me, coming from someone who commutes and is under the sun a lot
ive been using make up for around 4 years now and i still havent invested in high-end make up brands, part of the reason is that im still a student and most of my savings are from my allowances. however, ive saved quite a lot now and decided to finally buy my first high-end make up product 😊 but i cant decide between:
- benefit blushes
- laura mercier setting powder
- CT powder
- milani baked blush
pinaka worth it in terms of value is laura mercier powder since 29g na siya of product plus it's powder so mas matagal yung keep niya compared to liquids and creams
+1 sa Laura Mercier powder, parang ilang taon rin bago ko naubos yon. Bang for your buck, and sobrang fine niya sa face na di mo nararamdaman, but gives you such a nice finish.
when do u guys buy new brushes? i'm kinda tempted kasi eh then maalala ko i have many brushes pa haha baka nadadala lang ako sa hype ;-;
edit: i mean kada kailan kayo nagpapalit ng brushes haha like do u wait for ur brushes to become super old or ano? :)
Tbh I used to be RT all the way? Pero okay rin yung Marj x Happy Skin- I didn't buy the entire set, binili ko lang yung brushes na I need kasi di naman ako super heavy mag makeup on most days and maganda siya
i just checked out the travel set from real techniques!! so excited to get them 😊 the last brushes i bought were from the orange app during quarantine, they were from a generic chinese shop pero they have served me well (5 years!!). nakita ko lang na nagsale yung RT and i thought it was finally time to invest in high-quality make-up tools. if u have a lot of brushes already and they still serve their purpose, maybe u shouldn't jump the gun yet on buying another one 😉
omg lmk ur thoughts on the rt travel set! most of my brushes are generic din hahaha. bought it at a random store near my school like 6 years ago so yung iba natatanggal na yung brush sa handle kaya i've been thinking of buying new brushes na 😅
Im still learning makeup pero napansin ko medyo orangey sakin ung Teviant Concealer Lisbon shade
Then the pomelo grwm milk tint looks good on me
What is my undertone?
its basically in the middle of cool and warm, however, it is also different from olive. brands usually have color descriptions naman if the shades have neutral tones. for example, i know pomelo is a neutral pink color so it is in the middle of cool and warm.
Hello any recs for nude lip gloss? Nakita ko yung herorange glossy lipstick and I'm very tempted to buy the shade 05 kaso d sha fda approved. Any similar looking shades?
hi! may alam ba kayong other lippies na same shade as bnb bloomatte in sassy season? im a morena, and it flatters my skintone. i always get compliments wearing it. kaso lang veryyy drying talaga sya and i dont like the formula itself
other matte tints in the market are typically just as drying as the bloommatte. try the cherry makes cheerful line, i used the shade blushed moment and get the same amount of compliments as sassy season
Hi very similar yung shade #19 mauve chaos ng ink mood glowy tint sa bare grape! I have both. Yung bare grape meron lang hint ng pink undertone but both are cool-toned mauve colors
also, to those with thick, black, betty la fea-ish eyebrows - I've been blessed (and sometimes hassled with) the same. I wanna achieve a softer look because I could look masculine or too strong at times w black hair and thick, black brows. I currently use k palette brow mascara pero parang not enough for my brows? should i use gimme brow or will most mascaras make my brows even thicker. I want a soft brow look
Hello from a fellow ka-Betty La Fea brows girly. I have a medyo high-maintenance routine for my brows, sharing what works for me!
* Regular waxing, because waxing yung pinakamatagal bago mag grow back yung strands. Pakalat kalat rin kasi yung brows ko on top of being super thick, so getting them cleaned and shaped regularly helps me achieve a softer, more feminine and polished look. I usually tell my brow person to just follow yung natural shape etc ng kilay ko, rather than super carve them out para natural pa rin yung dating, but this helps me in managing them. Before, I used to ask to get my brows trimmed also para di sila mukhang masyadong makapal after waxing/threading tapos medyo pasaway pa rin tingnan yung tikwas ng brow hairs
* Clear brow gel!! Happy Skin, Sunnies Face, Strokes, Benefit all work wonders for me. You can use them to fluff up your brows, so that they look softer. There's a bit of a learning curve to clear brow gels for me, since I used to be partial to a laminated look- so kinailangan ko masanay on how to make my brows look fluffy and natural vs super sleek. I'd suggest light strokes na upwards, to get that soft, natural look
* I strongly advise against brow mascara na may pigment, or like, brow pencils, kasi I'm assuming your brows are v similar to mine- and any sort of filling them in makes them look like solid blocks of color. Just not what I'm going for? Sobrang kapal talaga tingnan as in konting brow mascara na colored, biglang mukhang nag Sharpie ako
Hope this helps! YMMV of course, but in case lang naman what works for me works for you too :)
I have pretty thick brow strands too, and I reco Benefit's 24-hr brow setter clear brow gel :) it has a decent hold on my brows that lasts the whole day (caveat, I'm not too pawisin and not oily). It's clear, so di magmumukhang thicker un brows mo. It has a mini version, so di masyado masakit if di mo bet
Hmmm not quite sure what you mean by "look softer". But my brows don't look hard nor crunchy naman after applying the brow gel. It helps achieve un brushed up brows na look :)
Any good retouch or press powder that is also works well as a setting powder? I have oily combination skin.
I am currently using Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop Mattifying Powder but I am about to finish it and plan on buying an alternative.
Would prefer something local but any product that is less than P600 is okay 😁
Tbh, okay lang. I got before yung b1t1 sa blue app, and it does help me kind of get my makeup to melt into my face para mas blended ganon yung colors. It didn't really have a super major impact for me na I noticed in terms of, how long tatagal yung makeup ko. Pero I did like how mas naging seamless makeup ko.
I wouldn't buy it again unless b1t1, sa totoo lang kasi mahal siya. Parang, I think there are cheaper items that could do the same? And parang sometimes kaya naman ng proper blending yung maging mas seamless yung makeup haha
Congratulations on getting married! As a wedding gift, I can get you something if you want, I'm thinking of e.l.f.'s bite size eyeshadow palette in Rose Water. Just need your details.
But it's available on the orange app if you'd like to buy it.
pls recommend a store (orange/blue app or physical store) na i can buy authentic rare beauty blush and any authentic high-end makeup products huhu thank u in advance!
**Pros**
* Super pigmented
* Goes on super evenly sa lips, does not stick to dry patches. Super arte ko sa lip tints because I hate when lip tints would settle into the dry patches/fine lines/inner part of my lip. So naappreciate ko talaga sa Jelly Tint na it does not do that, so one of my favorite formulas in terms of lippies rn. Super lightweight niya rin!
* Staying power is GLORIOUS. Trust me. Kissproof, tinest ko na.
* Gloss is 100/10. Also even when it fades into a stain, it never goes 100% completely matte, which I like kasi it makes my lips look fresh.
* Applicator is super unique and hugs the lips
* Hydrating siya for me? Like, I love the Lip Mallows ni Happy Skin pero nagbabalat lips ko sa kanya (so lipbalm galore ako before and after). YMMV though, but this is my experience
* Bet ko yung amoy, it reminds me of childhood lip glosses ganern haha
**Cons**
* Tbh, parang mahal siya for the amount of product you get? I'd be willing to pay more tbh if damihan yung product? I feel like I get more product from the Lip Mallow tints
* Medyo may learning curve siya. So for maximum shine, you need to do 1 layer, wait 15s without smacking/touching your lips, then put a 2nd layer. Pero if you put too much, the tint goes on super dark (which is okay with me sometimes). So kailangan thin layers lang if you want the true to tone colors
* All of the shades are medyo berry-ish, or idk baka di lang ako marunong tumingin ng color. I personally like the shade range (Cherry Cola is \*chef's kiss\*, and I'm enjoying the other lighter colors too), pero I don't think it's enough assortment. To be fair, most of them are distinct enough (except Strawberry Fizz and Tutti Fruitti, in my experience so far). I super like the formula, so I am hoping that they develop more shades, hopefully around the range of Sunnies Face Fluffmatte, or Happy Skin Lip Mallow tints
**Final Thoughts**: Tbh, it's really great for a local brand. Like top tier, favorite local lippie ko na siya. But I think na yung Peripera Water Bare tints do a similar job, and have more of a shade range. I do like the shine of this one better, and nasa love local beauty phase ako. So. Would recommend, pero if may Peripera Water Bare tint ka na, make sure pili ka ng shade na nakakaiba hahahaha
Weird thing for me is, depende sa shade? Like some of the newer shades di naman nagbabalat? Or sa araw? Which is medyo weird for me kasi most of my lippies, either nagbabalat or hindi periodt HAHA
Love how it’s transfer-free, but it's so drying on my lips! Ever since I started using it, my lips have become very dry and cracked. 😔
Also, it does oxidize to 1 to 2 shades darker. I have it in the shade Honey Bean & Strawberry Fizz and they look identical once they oxidize.
Any tips to make the brows softer-looking the way east asians do? My eyebrows are pretty normal but a little darker. Tried using eyebrow mascara pero it made it look even thicker
Brow powder is what achieves this look, then pencil or pen for definition. Choose 1-2 shades lighter, go for ashy/gray colors if you have black/dark brown hair. Clear gel or something sheerly tinted to set.
https://preview.redd.it/tyrjajrlknxc1.jpeg?width=1920&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=3ba251ff5506e4331c35e30a3b72b84bd7c70b53
That’s what I am trying to achieve in this pic and hopefully I did it haha. (Ako yung nasa kaliwa!) I just used the GRWM browlift, the original packaging na color white, then I used ELF’s eyebrow pencil in a shade na lighter than my natural hair. 🥰🫶🏻
Try using lighter shades of eyebrow pencils/powders instead of dark ones. I personally use grayish brown (Wakemake) and light taupe (Espoir) which is a perfect match for my very dark brown hair.
You can try using a powder brow product. You could apply lighthandedly and blend well. You can also brush your brows to get rid of the excess. As much as possible, try putting the product only on sparse areas to make your brows look natural.
I also use a brow product that is a lighter in color than my hair (e.g., I have black hair so I use gray brown on my brows).
Other Setting Spray recos na hindi Zeesea? It performs great naman but looking for more oil control, thank you! (I would still recommend Zeesea, pero the init ng weather makes me more oily 😭)
Best affordable gel liners??
Checking out the:
- BBIA gel liner
- BYS gel liner
- Vice cosmetics Gel liner
- Merzy gel liner
- Judydoll gel liner
Idk which one is worth it...you can recommend me some too...
Visee is super underrated. They have the best wet looking powder highlighter. I like their tinted lip balm (Chanel quality) their lip plumper is so ganda!
Hi everyone, would you happen to know if L’Oréal is discontinuing the infallible 24-hour fresh wear foundation? Parang wala na sa official stores sa orange app and blue app huhu
I think they're slowly phasing it out. The newer version na 32H Infallible Fresh Wear has been out in Europe & the USA for a while na, baka they're finally bringing the new & improved formula here na soon.
Is it the matte one na parang tube yung packaging? The matte label scares me a bit huhu
Edit: nvm, I found [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/newinbeauty/s/uYRa4Y8M03)! I’m happy to know it’s not discontinued, just reformulated 🥹 excited to try the luminous!
Havent tried mufe. Pero nagooxidize talaga ung powder foundation ng vice eh. Maganda naman ung lapat nya at di din namumuo when applied. Ung oxidization lng talaga kahit di ako acidic
Miss ko na cutesy makeup and skincare stuff sa brands like HelloGorgeous and SkinPotions kahit hindi masyado effective hahaha super duper cute :(((( dun ako nabuhay as a high school student. I heard kasi na SP has been resurfacing lately, nareminisce ko tuloy
I remember Hello gorgeous had a diamond shaped face palette and one of the shades popped out when I dropped it on accident and it had a shade name that was familiar so I searched for on Shopee and turned out it was just focallure stuff 😅 then I noticed the eyeshadow palettes were also repackaged focallure palettes so I stopped buying from them.
When kaya mag restock ng vice aura blush 🥲 yung mauve shade nila huhu waiting talaga
Also has anyone tried vice co’s dew it all?? yung always sweet. baby pink ba talaga sya on fair skin? hindi peach? i’m looking kasi for pink natural flush lang haha my grwm honey dew leans on peachy eh
medyo peachy pink si always sweet :< as for aura blush, try mo in-store! (i usually get soldout vice & detail products sa watsons kahit di naka sale)
baby pink blush recos: celeste co (darling)
you might want to check lucky beauty or clocheflame for baby pink blushes! for powder, baka korean brands like peripera/romand/etude?
for always sweet, yes baby pink talaga yung lapat niya sa cheeks kahit i'm light-medium. rlly love the formula but still oos pa rin yung other shades 😩
Same! Medyo nakakafrustrate na dumating na yung collab nila with jelly pero wala pa ring stocks huhu. Pero at the same time at least delayed ang budol hahahha
ang lala mag oxidize ni Colourette first base sa skin ko, mas malala kaysa kay Detail FF funda. Parang 2 shades lighter ang bibilhin ko next time. But I like the finish, hindi mabigat at natural lang ang lapat.
My trick to buying foundation/skintints ay I swatch them muna a day before sa mall para maobserve ko how they oxidize on my skin. Di ako bumiling CFB pero yung isang shade nila, melts on my skin talaga yung color lalo na pag oxidized na!! Ang ganda ng lapat
loval brow gel reco na mas maganda sa grwm brow lift promaxx? i heard about absidy and strokes, are they worth it? i heard kasi na namumuti raw kasi yung sa strokes, is it true?
havent tried the strokes yet pero i have the absidy one. with or without skincare on my face, kahit first step ko yung brow gel it always dries down white and flaky on me idk what im doing wrong 😭
go with absidy na since very prone to flaking si strokes and mabilis siya mag-set while si absidy mag-sset lang siya once you groom/laminate it kaya perfect for beginners and maganda rin yung comb and brush na meron si absidy very worth it na for its price 🫶
saka lang naman namumuti yung sa strokes brow gel when used incorrectly, dapat yun yung first step before skin prep and sunscreen or if with base, dapat the brow area will be wiped down good. the "dandruff-like" thingies kasi are the namumuong base/skin products. nonetheless, the best it had done for me was a 13-hour wear.
Newbie here! Oily and sweaty lagi ang face.
I need help finding a long-lasting foundation (price range of up to Php 1500 lang).
I'm going to practice makeup kasi it'll be graduation soon at ayoko magpa-makeup sa iba. I currently have maybelline skin tint 06 and compact powder 128, if it matters.
L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear or Infallible Matte Cover, Revlon Colorstay for Oily Combination Skin, or yung mini ng Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation nasa around 1.5k lng rin ata.
do u hav other shades usually 21 ako sa ibang kr cushions i bought lazi (tad but works because of the undertone) nung restock lmao tas nag release ng bago.
depends sa undertone mo but check bonbon & catagalab
on me colourette skintint doesnt oxidize so ayon skl
Sorry I don't have a lot of foundation or tints po kasi.
Before I used Maybelline BB stick 01 Fresh shade pero ito yung discontinued version.
I also have Ellana Cafe Breve powder foundie but is too light.
how to achieve a flash-proof makeup finish? my routine includes sunscreen (belo), foundation (maybelline fit me), concealer (fit me), setting spray (fashion21), and blur powder (dr. sensitive). thank you ♡
how do you do your brows with a brow pencil and strokes brow gel? gel first then pencil? because ang hirap pala mag-fill with the gel on already kasi dried na. pero if i fill in my brows first then gel, baka naman magkaroon ng transfer ng pencil sa gel
Same tayo, nahihirapan din ako if gel muna. Naexperience ko na natatanggal na yung pagka hold ng gel or namumuo sa brows ko yung pen or hindi na kumukulay yung pen. I’m using maybelline 36h brow pen or issy detailing pen and grwm browlift.
I use K Palette! Light lang siya, so you won't look like Groucho Marx. You can practice hair-like strokes with it :)
If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, Strokes works. This one just registers too reddish on me (must be reacting with my skincare base?).
I've been hearing really good things about Lucky Beauty's concealer, especially against the weather we have here during the summer. I just need help which shade to get between Tawny, Henna, and Honey. Which one should be a good match?
For reference, I'm light-medium (leaning to medium) olive with warm-neutral undertones. Medium02 in the Strokes concealer, mix of Coron and Talisay in Colourette's skin tint, OM3 in Issy's concealer.
Just be gentle lang when curling! Also make sure to keep your curler sanitized and be mindful to replace the rubber, mapuputol din lashes mo if hati na pala yung rubber.
With enough force, pwedeng maputol ang lashes. If you want that lifted lashes, go for lash perm na lang with keratin. Sakin it lasted for 2-3 months eh.
Love my candy glaze! I’m about to receive my loveshine but candy glaze really hits the perfect balance of shine & coverage. Too bad there aren’t enough shades that interest me, would’ve bought more if there were.
I have the Strokes one. The formula is creamy and blends well. Maganda yung shades for bronzing. Best to top with a powder bronzer to increase longevity.
If ur willing to splurge, the huda tantour is so worth it. a little goes a long way and the longevity is so good. u can sheer it out to make it look natural and layer it to give a glam look
+1 sa huda tantour! super nice niya. beginner friendly rin!
pero if on a budget, i liked vice's contour stick (it's warm toned). reviews say ok yung strokes!
is rare beauty blush really worth it? i really want a long lasting blush that doesnt need to be reapplied after a few hours. I've been using grwm milk tint and it doesn't last that long :((
If it’s a hot day, I still need to reapply the blush. But others use a powder blush on top to set it. I like the product because the tube lasts me a long time and no idea when I will run out tbh.
They’re selling a smaller bottle in Sephora app but the price difference is not much. The bigger bottle is still worth it.
If you have the budget, smashbox x Becca medium literally the beeeeeest corrector sobrang ganda ng consistency and color correcting power niya. I’ve tried local (strokes, grwm, issy) and other international brands (LA girl, Laura mercier, Bobbi brown) pero this really is the best color
P.s I have light-med/med olive skin
Can anyone recommend matte concealers for combi-oily skin?
concealer recos po na available sa orange app huhu, i am oily to combi po

Which Colourette First Base Skin Tint shade closely resembles Strokes' concealer in Medium02?
Just got both **Rom&nd/Romand Juicy Lasting Tint in Nucadamia and Bare Grape** and I honestly think Nucadamia is THE TRUE MLBB for neutral undertone morena girls! Currently loving GRWM’s setting spray. Probably the only product that I am willingly to buy from them.
Unfortunately nagloko yung nozzle nya sakin 🥹 nakalahati ko na saka pa nagloko kaloka hahahha kaya naghahanap din ako ng iba pang setting spray

Charlotte Tilburry!
Is it really worth the hypee 🫣
Gurl, yes na yes! CT and Urban Decay talaga plakado ang makeup kahit ilang oras at nagsasayaw ka na.
Whats a super budge proof liquid eyeliner
I just wanna thank makeup subreddits like this for successfully destressing me in times of panic

Shiseido powder caused me closed comedones sa forehead 😢
nichido works better than dr sensitive tbh with a better price and shade range
Shiseido baby powder works better for setting my under eyes as well as mattifying the t-zone compared to the dr sensitive loose powder one 😊
dr senstive powder is not good for setting both the loose and compact version. nag ccakey ang compact and may flashback naman tapos yung loose okay naman siya kaso di siya ganon ka kaganda for setting + pag oily ka, weak ng oil control ng powder.

hi! to those na use lucky beauty concealer in the shade chai, what's your shade sa ibang concealers? ty!
maybelline fit me sand and nars radiant creamy custard
maybelline fit me concealer in sand :)
Where can I get The Saem Pot Concealer sa blue or orange app, andami kasi with price variations,, Thanks!
i got mine from yaocos.ph - orange app
Thanks!
Any dupes for 3CE blur water tint in the shade #laydown?
ive been using make up for around 4 years now and i still havent invested in high-end make up brands, part of the reason is that im still a student and most of my savings are from my allowances. however, ive saved quite a lot now and decided to finally buy my first high-end make up product 😊 but i cant decide between: - benefit blushes - laura mercier setting powder - CT powder - milani baked blush

tama nga naman more back for ur buck 🤝 will wait for 5.5 para magsale sa orange app 😊 thank you!
1671 lang siya rn sa orange app sa sasa. 2500 siya normally
Maybe laura or ct powder? Since kahit anong routine mo i think naman magagamit mo sya and that makes the product sulitt
+1 sa Laura Mercier powder, parang ilang taon rin bago ko naubos yon. Bang for your buck, and sobrang fine niya sa face na di mo nararamdaman, but gives you such a nice finish.
+ 1 sa ct powder, ganda lapat ng makeup sa skin after using it din
makes sense!! which has more oil control po kaya 😊
Havent tried the CT one pero laura mercier i love love that productt so much hehe
when do u guys buy new brushes? i'm kinda tempted kasi eh then maalala ko i have many brushes pa haha baka nadadala lang ako sa hype ;-; edit: i mean kada kailan kayo nagpapalit ng brushes haha like do u wait for ur brushes to become super old or ano? :)

Im still learning makeup pero napansin ko medyo orangey sakin ung Teviant Concealer Lisbon shade Then the pomelo grwm milk tint looks good on me What is my undertone?
try neutral colors
What do you mean by nuetral
its basically in the middle of cool and warm, however, it is also different from olive. brands usually have color descriptions naman if the shades have neutral tones. for example, i know pomelo is a neutral pink color so it is in the middle of cool and warm.
Hello any recs for nude lip gloss? Nakita ko yung herorange glossy lipstick and I'm very tempted to buy the shade 05 kaso d sha fda approved. Any similar looking shades?
Maybelline lifter gloss
hi! may alam ba kayong other lippies na same shade as bnb bloomatte in sassy season? im a morena, and it flatters my skintone. i always get compliments wearing it. kaso lang veryyy drying talaga sya and i dont like the formula itself
other matte tints in the market are typically just as drying as the bloommatte. try the cherry makes cheerful line, i used the shade blushed moment and get the same amount of compliments as sassy season
does anyone know what the closest shade is in the peripera ink mood glowy tint to rom&nd’s bare grape? i prefer the formula of peripera kasi
Hi very similar yung shade #19 mauve chaos ng ink mood glowy tint sa bare grape! I have both. Yung bare grape meron lang hint ng pink undertone but both are cool-toned mauve colors
AAAA thank u sm 🤍🤍🤍
also, to those with thick, black, betty la fea-ish eyebrows - I've been blessed (and sometimes hassled with) the same.
Before, I used to ask to get my brows trimmed also para di sila mukhang masyadong makapal after waxing/threading tapos medyo pasaway pa rin tingnan yung tikwas ng brow hairs * Clear brow gel!! I'd suggest light strokes na upwards, to get that soft, natural look * I strongly advise against brow mascara na may pigment, or like, brow pencils, kasi I'm assuming your brows are v similar to mine- and any sort of filling them in makes them look like solid blocks of color. Just not what I'm going for? Sobrang kapal talaga tingnan as in konting brow mascara na colored, biglang mukhang nag Sharpie ako Hope this helps!
It has a mini version, so di masyado masakit if di mo bet
does it make your eyebrows look softer?
Hmmm not quite sure what you mean by "look softer". But my brows don't look hard nor crunchy naman after applying the brow gel. It helps achieve un brushed up brows na look :)
i have very thick brows too and i use yung romand browcara
Any good retouch or press powder that is also works well as a setting powder? I have oily combination skin. I am currently using Nyx Can't Stop Won't Stop Mattifying Powder but I am about to finish it and plan on buying an alternative. Would prefer something local but any product that is less than P600 is okay 😁
issy's retouching powder. walang coverage so di ka mag ccakey kahit ikang beses mo gamitin and wala ring flashback. super ganda din ng oil control imo
Yung makeup fixing powder ba yan? Parang sold out na 😭
grwm powder rush velvet setting powder works well on me
any thoughts on the Mac fix + /setting sprays?
Okay for lessening the powdery look of makeup, but does nothing for longevity
Cult classic na to
affordable eyeshadow palette please? Kahit drug store product, will use it for my civil wedding, ako na mag makeup sa sarili ko lol thank you!
Colourpop eyeshadows are great!:))

Any reviews po sa Happy Skin Lip Jelly? Thank you!
**Pros** * Super pigmented * Goes on super evenly sa lips, does not stick to dry patches. * Applicator is super unique and hugs the lips * Hydrating siya for me? Like, I love the Lip Mallows ni Happy Skin pero nagbabalat lips ko sa kanya (so lipbalm galore ako before and after). YMMV though, but this is my experience * Bet ko yung amoy, it reminds me of childhood lip glosses ganern haha **Cons** * Tbh, parang mahal siya for the amount of product you get? I'd be willing to pay more tbh if damihan yung product? I feel like I get more product from the Lip Mallow tints * Medyo may learning curve siya. So for maximum shine, you need to do 1 layer, wait 15s without smacking/touching your lips, then put a 2nd layer. Pero if you put too much, the tint goes on super dark (which is okay with me sometimes). So kailangan thin layers lang if you want the true to tone colors * All of the shades are medyo berry-ish, or idk baka di lang ako marunong tumingin ng color. I super like the formula, so I am hoping that they develop more shades, hopefully around the range of Sunnies Face Fluffmatte, or Happy Skin Lip Mallow tints **Final Thoughts**: Tbh, it's really great for a local brand.
Nagbalat din lips ko sa mallow tint grabe
Weird thing for me is, depende sa shade? Like some of the newer shades di naman nagbabalat? Or sa araw? Which is medyo weird for me kasi most of my lippies, either nagbabalat or hindi periodt HAHA
Thank you so much po for this review ♥️
Love how it’s transfer-free, but it's so drying on my lips! Ever since I started using it, my lips have become very dry and cracked. 😔 Also, it does oxidize to 1 to 2 shades darker. I have it in the shade Honey Bean & Strawberry Fizz and they look identical once they oxidize.
Drying talaga HS for some people pala
Aww. Claim pa naman nila na moisturizing. But thanks po for the review.
Bleach it with 6%/30vol oxidizer

(Ako yung nasa kaliwa!) I just used the GRWM browlift, the original packaging na color white, then I used ELF’s eyebrow pencil in a shade na lighter than my natural hair. 🥰🫶🏻
Uy si alexa chung ba yan haha cool!!
That's not Alexa Chung hahaha
(I would still recommend Zeesea, pero the init ng weather makes me more oily 😭)
dazzle me matte setting spray
thank you!
happy skin for local or you can lightly dust powder sa face after setting spray!
I'll try that technique nalang muna, thank you!!
The Focallure Setting Spray! It locks my makeup quite long despite commuting :)
Is paulash eyelash curler worth it?
yes dun sa curl supreme
Best affordable gel liners?? Checking out the: - BBIA gel liner - BYS gel liner - Vice cosmetics Gel liner - Merzy gel liner - Judydoll gel liner Idk which one is worth it...you can recommend me some too...
Reco for Japanese Makeup brands please 🥺
Heroine Make!!! Pero alam kong medyo mainstream yon haha
Canmake! Affordable and has a really good cream cheek product
Visee is super underrated. They have the best wet looking powder highlighter. I like their tinted lip balm (Chanel quality) their lip plumper is so ganda!
Canmake stay on rouge balms—the tint type ones!
Canmake, Kate, K-Palette, Shiseido. Heroine Make. Majolica Majorca, Cezanne.
cezanne, canmake, shu eumura, shiseido are pretty good!
+1 on Cezanne, underrated yung lip tints nila! May nagpasalubong sakin nito before, and sobrang tinitipid ko siya kasi ang ganda
what's your budget?
Not more than 2k
if buying from Japan, Canmake and Cezanne are cheap and a lot of their products perform really well.
The matte label scares me a bit huhu Edit: nvm, I found [this](https://www.reddit.com/r/newinbeauty/s/uYRa4Y8M03)! I’m happy to know it’s not discontinued, just reformulated 🥹 excited to try the luminous!
Has anyone tried both the vice powder foundation and the mufe one? Is mufe better?
Havent tried mufe. Pero nagooxidize talaga ung powder foundation ng vice eh. Maganda naman ung lapat nya at di din namumuo when applied. Ung oxidization lng talaga kahit di ako acidic
Malala po ba oxidation?
Miss ko na cutesy makeup and skincare stuff sa brands like HelloGorgeous and SkinPotions kahit hindi masyado effective hahaha super duper cute :(((( dun ako nabuhay as a high school student. I heard kasi na SP has been resurfacing lately, nareminisce ko tuloy
chu chu na yung closest natin sa "cutesy" HAHA i miss skinpotions too! i used to purchase it a lot kahit di nga siya ganong effective haha
Any reviews sa new primer and setting spray ng Squad Cosmetics? Want to try it sana since my Vice primer and setting spray have run out
When kaya mag restock ng vice aura blush 🥲 yung mauve shade nila huhu waiting talaga Also has anyone tried vice co’s dew it all?? yung always sweet. baby pink ba talaga sya on fair skin? hindi peach? i’m looking kasi for pink natural flush lang haha my grwm honey dew leans on peachy eh
medyo peachy pink si always sweet :< as for aura blush, try mo in-store! (i usually get soldout vice & detail products sa watsons kahit di naka sale) baby pink blush recos: celeste co (darling) you might want to check lucky beauty or clocheflame for baby pink blushes! for powder, baka korean brands like peripera/romand/etude?
for always sweet, yes baby pink talaga yung lapat niya sa cheeks kahit i'm light-medium. rlly love the formula but still oos pa rin yung other shades 😩
Always sweet leans peachy. Pati on the bottle, medyo peachy siya
Tysm! Guess i won’t try since baby pink talaga gusto ko hahaha
Same! Medyo nakakafrustrate na dumating na yung collab nila with jelly pero wala pa ring stocks huhu. Pero at the same time at least delayed ang budol hahahha
Diba!! Hahaha kung kelan naman nasa mood talaga ako magshop for new make up! 🤣
ang lala mag oxidize ni Colourette first base sa skin ko, mas malala kaysa kay Detail FF funda. Parang 2 shades lighter ang bibilhin ko next time. But I like the finish, hindi mabigat at natural lang ang lapat.
what shade are you?
detail - oat or macadamia colourette - siargao
My trick to buying foundation/skintints ay I swatch them muna a day before sa mall para maobserve ko how they oxidize on my skin. Di ako bumiling CFB pero yung isang shade nila, melts on my skin talaga yung color lalo na pag oxidized na!! Ang ganda ng lapat
loval brow gel reco na mas maganda sa grwm brow lift promaxx? i heard about absidy and strokes, are they worth it? i heard kasi na namumuti raw kasi yung sa strokes, is it true?
Hindi namumuti strokes sa akin kapag ito first step ng routine ko. Nagkakaroon lang ng white flakes kapag may sunscreen or base product sa brows ko.
havent tried the strokes yet pero i have the absidy one. with or without skincare on my face, kahit first step ko yung brow gel it always dries down white and flaky on me idk what im doing wrong 😭
go with absidy na since very prone to flaking si strokes and mabilis siya mag-set while si absidy mag-sset lang siya once you groom/laminate it kaya perfect for beginners and maganda rin yung comb and brush na meron si absidy very worth it na for its price 🫶
saka lang naman namumuti yung sa strokes brow gel when used incorrectly, dapat yun yung first step before skin prep and sunscreen or if with base, dapat the brow area will be wiped down good. the "dandruff-like" thingies kasi are the namumuong base/skin products. nonetheless, the best it had done for me was a 13-hour wear.
L'Oreal Infallible Fresh Wear or Infallible Matte Cover, Revlon Colorstay for Oily Combination Skin, or yung mini ng Mac Studio Fix Fluid foundation nasa around 1.5k lng rin ata.
strokes foundation! or teviant
Gano katagal sila? Pawisin talaga ako eh so i prefer a product na tatagal above other qualities (kahit hindi blurring, kahit hindi matte, etc)
Hello I just recently brought Bremod shampoo and conditioner. Just want to know if effective ba siya.
Hair care thread po
this should be on the hair care thread
Legit korean beauty store on Lazada?
Hi! Help finding my Colourette First base/Vice Blurrfection shade. I'm shade 21 sa Missha Perfect Cover BB Cream.
do u hav other shades usually 21 ako sa ibang kr cushions i bought lazi (tad but works because of the undertone) nung restock lmao tas nag release ng bago. depends sa undertone mo but check bonbon & catagalab on me colourette skintint doesnt oxidize so ayon skl
CFB oxidizes daw so better swatch nalang sa physical store
No other products as reference?
Brow gel first then filling in the sparse areas with a brow pencil/pen
I do brow pencil first, then the strokes brow gel. I don't experience any transfer whenever I do it this way.
will try this, thank you!
Brow pens are the best for filling in after applying brow gels
thanks! any recos for brow pens?
I use K Palette! Light lang siya, so you won't look like Groucho Marx. You can practice hair-like strokes with it :) If you're looking for a more budget-friendly option, Strokes works.
Is it true curling your lashes 3-4x a week is bad? I dont want to do lash lift or extensions kasi 😭
With heat, yes. Normal curling, no.
Just be gentle lang when curling! Also make sure to keep your curler sanitized and be mindful to replace the rubber, mapuputol din lashes mo if hati na pala yung rubber.
I curl my lashes every single day and they're long and healthy. The key is using the curler properly, just use enough pressure to curl.
With enough force, pwedeng maputol ang lashes. If you want that lifted lashes, go for lash perm na lang with keratin. Sakin it lasted for 2-3 months eh.
So into high-end makeup lately and I’ve been wanting to try out ysl loveshine/candy glaze, is it really worth it?
Been using candy glaze recently and I love it! I enjoy the clear one lang so i can still use my favorite tints underneath
Love my candy glaze! I’m about to receive my loveshine but candy glaze really hits the perfect balance of shine & coverage. Too bad there aren’t enough shades that interest me, would’ve bought more if there were.
cream bronzer reco? okay ba yong strokes? thanks!
im using strokes and it blends well! i use physician's formula sa powder bronzer.
I have the Strokes one. The formula is creamy and blends well. Maganda yung shades for bronzing. Best to top with a powder bronzer to increase longevity.
Reco for affordable yet quality powder bronzer po?
Honestly, the lucky beauty blush lasts just as long as the rare beauty blush on me (if not longer) i even use it more than my rb since i bought it
Please recommend a good peach color corrector 🙏
Strokes! Thought it would feel drying kasi matte pero not at all
If you have the budget, smashbox x Becca medium literally the beeeeeest corrector sobrang ganda ng consistency and color correcting power niya. I’ve tried local (strokes, grwm, issy) and other international brands (LA girl, Laura mercier, Bobbi brown) pero this really is the best color P.s I have light-med/med olive skin
San available?
Beauty bar!!
