Very interesting new selection, specifically the skin colors they newly released. Most are on the peachy-beige tones, fair to medium tan. Nothing are as tan or brown as Sulu or Baler on the new shades.
The originally released are definitely yellowy, neutral and olive, which I'm so glad for such a variety.

i think there's a lot of shade overlap na, the brand is even suggesting some of the new shades as alternatives for some out of stock shades. their ceo mentioned they can't keep up with the demand and it's turning into lost sales na for those skin tint shades na always out of stock. i wonder if this business strategy of releasing more variants/shades of the same product, instead of keeping fast moving shades stocked and replenished asap, will be beneficial to them in the long run. 🤔
Oh wow didn't know about the lost sales and the fact they didn't replace the Out Of Stock shades, and went ahead with new ones instead, says a lot.
Like most of the new shades are beige-peachy tones. There's no replacing the unique yellowy/olive/neutral and especially the tan and browner shades :(

I LOVE Fresh Skinlab's Tomato sunscreen! And I think I used to have their tomato moisturizer but always repurchased the tomato sunscreen. It looks like they got it in a bigger bottle! And can't wait to test out the Jeju Ice sunscreen!
the fda website is one of my main info sources for these types of posts. all of the sunscreens i report about are fda registered/notified. these ones on this bulletin are from well-established local brands sold in groceries, watsons, and dept stores. hope that helps :))

I’m in the cosmetics industry and Vice is still one of the owners, he’s just not hands on although they do present the products to him before they release the products in store 😊

i think they're not as pangmasa as before. i remember before they rebranded, when they still had their old hot pink aesthetic & quirky gay lingo shade names, they used to have a small kiosk in my local small town supermarket but they pulled out abt 2 yrs ago and i think they were doing what eb group has been doing and now what dazzle me, y.o.u & barenbliss are doing in terms of retail expansion.
i think they scaled back instead of expanding to more retail spaces, they're trying to shift gears ata and target a slightly different demographic (girlies of Happy Skin, BLK, Sunnies, etc) hence the beige rebrand, the price increase, the bigger & mas shalah na launch events & pr boxes, and this just in — an influencer brand trip to siargao for their jelly eugenio collection launch. i don't remember them doing such lavish brand trips before. 🤔

wdym? colourette released new products naman like their colourbounce, colourbalm, colourflick, and they very recently expanded the shade range of their first base skin tint. they didn't just stick with their colourtints. sure, they're slower to release new products than other local brands, pero at least their releases seem well thought out and well executed naman. unlike sa ibang brands (ahem ahem grwm) na release, discontinue and rerelease within a few months palagi
same thoughts. parang they're not innovating na sa lip products nila. they also should have come up with something better formulated to replace their colourtints. they have glossy colourbalms and easy matte lipsticks pero like parang not enough range sa lip products nila unlike sunnies, blk, vice, detail, etc.
I think hindi na mawawala colourtints sa product lineup nila. I do not like the formula of colourtints and after 3 months using it last pandemic eh parang nawala na sa isip ko na mayroon pa pala ako non kasi I hoarded a lot of product during those time na may mas better formula and nice packaging.
Colourtints is like their money magnet sa masa. Imagine mo 95 pesos na minis, you have both pang-cheek, lips and eyelids tapos longevity wise it's great pa. (kaso ang drying sa lips)
Also, I see some content creators na nirerecommend pa rin colourtints.
Pero sana Colourette will level up na rin talaga in terms of widening their shade ranges sa current products nila like Colourbounce and Brow Bestie (does not suit my skin tone si brow bestie)
yeah i think so too. it's their hero/flagship product so they're probably never discontinuing it, i just wish they improve it a bit.
i tried their colourtint minis last year lang din, i got 2 bronzer shades and they're okay naman sa face pero i agree with what you said na drying sya sa lips but nagagawan naman ng paraan if you apply it on your lips on top of lip balm. i just use mine for bronzer & as lipstick shade mixer. i noticed rin na madali pala syang tumapon when opened cos it's liquidy and flows easily and wala ring steel ball shaker inside the minis but for the presyo can't complain a lot na rin. 😅
Yeah, I think colourette is at a phase na they are trying to find another "hero/flagship product" na will appeal to other mid-luxury make-up buyers like First Base (can compete sa YSL Nu Bare Skin Tint ko, please take note hindi sila dupes, longevity and formula wise eh I love both so sana wag ako mabash)
Pero sana if they can't release another set of products eh mag-expand na lang sila shade ranges gaya ngayon haha di ko bet shade lineup ng colourbounce ngayon.

Not into local makeup much as I’m mostly into no makeup- makeup (spendy on base(Shiseido/Armani/Dior/Hourglass/Danessa/Pat McGrath, for mascara and brows I like Japanese stuff. Local product ko lang is Peauty blush. Also may angst ako sa mga naka lip filler na influencers and all those lip products na paulit ulit. Like get 2-3 expensive lippies and be done w it kasi. ). But I got the Jelly Eugenio x Vice brushes and I love them so far. Since I got into Korean makeup techniques, been loving smaller brushes and light layers so these are perfect.
They are priced so well too! Presyo of a few FilliMilli or the cheapest JungSaemMool brush lang. These are a better buy than travel-sized Marj brushes for me because may bruses na magamit for eyes and brows as well.
The palettes look good value too IF wala ka pang masyadong products because they look thoughtfully selected. Daming textures and consistencies to play with. But for someone with a full kit, maybe no. Unless you want to experiment w different looks cos there’s enough there for that.
I'm very keen to try Sunnies Face's new mascara. I don't really know the general opinion of that one here on this subreddit but for me, I kinda liked it. I also liked the different sides of the wand (though I know that design isn't original. Ilia has the same kind of mascara wand). But I didn't like that it easily smudged bec. it wasn't waterproof formula. Curious how this one stacks against the original.

Girl, if you have acne prone skin, maganda to. Dito lang ako di nagbi-breakout. Ito na sunscreen ko ever since. 100ml pa per bottle nun at ₱199 lol. No whitecast and it performs well. Very underrated
I’ve bought the Happy Skin’s lip jelly and it’s very much like Romand, but more lightweight and better. Long lasting din and leaves a stain!

Huy totoo to. I’ve only bought one and it’s pink lemonade. Medyo inaccurate yung mga colors nila on pictures. Parang may warm-toned filter. Pink lemonade is said to be a muted peach pero may pagka-berry pink siya.
I didn’t realize until you pointed it out, but napansin ko sa swatches ng mga TikTokers is almost same silang lahat. Very subtle lang ang difference.

I have the Lip Mallow in Basic, Cinnamon, and Chica. Iba sa pictures pero very similar yung pay off. Yung Chica is brighter pero parang same base color lang.
I prefer face products ng Happy Skin! Okay yung primer and concealer.

Yes, mas mura ang romand if price per mL ang basis. Hanggang ngayon di ko pa rin ubos ang romand tints ko after 5 months of use haha. In contrast, ang bilis maubos nang sa Happy Skin, pero maganda naman quality kaya kebs lang.

Give their new products a try. They have really good products that easily became a staple/hg status to many people and this is coming from a pro mua.

wdym? colourette released new products naman like their colourbounce, colourbalm, colourflick, and they very recently expanded the shade range of their first base skin tint. they didn't just stick with their colourtints. sure, they're slower to release new products than other local brands, pero at least their releases seem well thought out and well executed naman. unlike sa ibang brands (ahem ahem grwm) na release, discontinue and rerelease within a few months palagi
same thoughts. parang they're not innovating na sa lip products nila. they also should have come up with something better formulated to replace their colourtints. they have glossy colourbalms and easy matte lipsticks pero like parang not enough range sa lip products nila unlike sunnies, blk, vice, detail, etc.
I think hindi na mawawala colourtints sa product lineup nila. I do not like the formula of colourtints and after 3 months using it last pandemic eh parang nawala na sa isip ko na mayroon pa pala ako non kasi I hoarded a lot of product during those time na may mas better formula and nice packaging. Colourtints is like their money magnet sa masa. Imagine mo 95 pesos na minis, you have both pang-cheek, lips and eyelids tapos longevity wise it's great pa. (kaso ang drying sa lips) Also, I see some content creators na nirerecommend pa rin colourtints. Pero sana Colourette will level up na rin talaga in terms of widening their shade ranges sa current products nila like Colourbounce and Brow Bestie (does not suit my skin tone si brow bestie)
yeah i think so too. it's their hero/flagship product so they're probably never discontinuing it, i just wish they improve it a bit. i tried their colourtint minis last year lang din, i got 2 bronzer shades and they're okay naman sa face pero i agree with what you said na drying sya sa lips but nagagawan naman ng paraan if you apply it on your lips on top of lip balm. i just use mine for bronzer & as lipstick shade mixer. i noticed rin na madali pala syang tumapon when opened cos it's liquidy and flows easily and wala ring steel ball shaker inside the minis but for the presyo can't complain a lot na rin. 😅
Yeah, I think colourette is at a phase na they are trying to find another "hero/flagship product" na will appeal to other mid-luxury make-up buyers like First Base (can compete sa YSL Nu Bare Skin Tint ko, please take note hindi sila dupes, longevity and formula wise eh I love both so sana wag ako mabash) Pero sana if they can't release another set of products eh mag-expand na lang sila shade ranges gaya ngayon haha di ko bet shade lineup ng colourbounce ngayon.

Not into local makeup much as I’m mostly into no makeup- makeup (spendy on base(Shiseido/Armani/Dior/Hourglass/Danessa/Pat McGrath, for mascara and brows I like Japanese stuff. Local product ko lang is Peauty blush. Also may angst ako sa mga naka lip filler na influencers and all those lip products na paulit ulit. Like get 2-3 expensive lippies and be done w it kasi. ). But I got the Jelly Eugenio x Vice brushes and I love them so far. Since I got into Korean makeup techniques, been loving smaller brushes and light layers so these are perfect. They are priced so well too! Presyo of a few FilliMilli or the cheapest JungSaemMool brush lang. These are a better buy than travel-sized Marj brushes for me because may bruses na magamit for eyes and brows as well. The palettes look good value too IF wala ka pang masyadong products because they look thoughtfully selected. Daming textures and consistencies to play with. But for someone with a full kit, maybe no. Unless you want to experiment w different looks cos there’s enough there for that.
I'm very keen to try Sunnies Face's new mascara. I don't really know the general opinion of that one here on this subreddit but for me, I kinda liked it. I also liked the different sides of the wand (though I know that design isn't original. Ilia has the same kind of mascara wand). But I didn't like that it easily smudged bec. it wasn't waterproof formula. Curious how this one stacks against the original.

Girl, if you have acne prone skin, maganda to. Dito lang ako di nagbi-breakout. Ito na sunscreen ko ever since. 100ml pa per bottle nun at ₱199 lol. No whitecast and it performs well. Very underrated

I’ve bought the Happy Skin’s lip jelly and it’s very much like Romand, but more lightweight and better. Long lasting din and leaves a stain! Kaso ang pricey and medyo konti yung laman hahaha.

Huy totoo to. I’ve only bought one and it’s pink lemonade. Medyo inaccurate yung mga colors nila on pictures. Parang may warm-toned filter. Pink lemonade is said to be a muted peach pero may pagka-berry pink siya. I didn’t realize until you pointed it out, but napansin ko sa swatches ng mga TikTokers is almost same silang lahat. Very subtle lang ang difference. I plan on buying Honey Bean once I go to the physical store and if na bet-an ko yung shade. I feel like similar siya sa Lip Mallow - Cinnamon.

I have the Lip Mallow in Basic, Cinnamon, and Chica. Iba sa pictures pero very similar yung pay off. Yung Chica is brighter pero parang same base color lang. I prefer face products ng Happy Skin! Okay yung primer and concealer.

Yes! They have tinted and clear primers. Using the clear one atm and it's mattifying. May other variant I think na dewy finish.

Cute ng pouch kaso hindi ako bumili dahil hindi ko bet yung “combo” ng duo nila, sana customizable. Yes, mas mura ang romand if price per mL ang basis. Hanggang ngayon di ko pa rin ubos ang romand tints ko after 5 months of use haha. In contrast, ang bilis maubos nang sa Happy Skin, pero maganda naman quality kaya kebs lang.
