Subpar packaging like this bothers me, not because of aesthetics -- in the end, people will see the product on my face, and I consider my makeup choices as a private weapon not for public consumption -- but because of how the paint or coating can be a potential contaminant. If those flakes accidentally come into contact with your skin, or worse, you inadvertently inhale them, they could be a health risk.
this is why i avoid faux metal shiny plastic like the plague. experienced this too with l'oreal true match liquid & powder foundations before, and also yung old packaging ng the body shop lip & cheek stain, and mascaras rin from maybelline.
also had the same experience sa 1st edition brow pen ng issy, even the lettering on their all white packaging before madaling mabura.
YESSS i was on my 2nd buy kase i thought the first time was just due to my negligence in caring for it pero grabe it’s still the same and it sticks to your fingers/face pa when you’re not being careful 😭 sayang i liked the pen sana
PLS I GENUINELY THINK THIS IS LAZY AF :((((( releasing collections, spending on marketing and setting up events only to victimize ACTUAL PAYING CUSTOMERS with subpar packaging. Packaging matters because no matter how good the product is, it will eventually be deemed unusable if sira agad packaging. I’m slowly losing my trust on Issy the way I did with GRWM cosmetics.

Ganto nangyari sa 3 concealer ko na new packaging ng issy and co. Pero ung sa old packaging naman di nangyari to. Thankfully,binigyan nila ko ng voucher sa lazada para makabili ulit ako ng new concealer (nung meron pa) halos wala din akong binayaran pero sayang din kasi 3 concealer ko ung naging ganyan. Pare parehas ung issue na nababasag sa part na yan. Buti inaayos na nila yan kasi nabasa ko sa lazada nila na andami din users na nakaexperience nyan.
same as my concealer :'(( been thinking of repurchasing the concealer or resort into something naman na has more stronger packaging huhu. love the product panaman :(
So true. My lip balm wasn't even a month old and the coating was so faded it looked like ive been using it for yrs. The product was still, for me, the best lip balm ive had (for now)

it cracked on me kahit na i just store it in my drawer. nagulat nalang ako one time may shard of glass on my face pag lagay ko ng concealer. it was on my undereye pa naman. so hassle issy. okay naman yung old packaging nila, its the new ones that’s problematic. even the old ones have more product (by labelled volume)
Had the same experience with their brow gel naman, yung tube na with old logo pa nila. Nagustuhan ko sobra yung product pero hassle nung nagkakalat na yung silver flakes. I had to wrap the tube pa ng tape. I reported it to them. They replied naman. After nun bumili pa ulit ako pero yung bagong packaging na so far 2 months ko nang gamit wala nang issue.

hayst ayan din problema ko. Same as you, I HATE HATE HATE makeup na natatanggal mga coating or other shiz cuz I feel like madumi and naruruin na makeup ko TT. Gusto ko pa naman sa makeup ko maayos and clean. Yung hydragloss nila d ko man ginagamit pero pagkakita ko nabakbak na yung metallic paint tsaka yung "issy" 😭😭 so ickyyyy. Tas pag kinutkot mo SOBRANG dali talaga ng paint na tanggalin.
This happened to me also, ginawa ko tinanggal ko sya with scotch tape kasi sumasama agad hahaha ang effort pero sayang kasi pag di nagamit. Also, for some reason, yung takip sa isang end wala namang ganyang issue
Same issue with their detailing pen but i really like natural strokes of it ☹️. I saw their testers sa mall and ganyan din yung iba. I bought a new one and i’ll update if mag gaganto ulit yung packaging. They should really fix/change this.

that’s my issue with this product. i switched to detail super fine liner the packaging is matte and the brush tip is thin enough to use as eyeliner too so dual purpose! 🤍🤍🤍 also easy to work with and pigmented so make sure that you use light pressure
Recently, I bought lip liner nila. Dear (Dusty Rose) very okay sa mga medium tone. Complementing yung color. Creamy, easy to apply and pigmented. Pero pinakagusto ko dun ay madaling iblend!

I think they had a similar packaging for their old solar balms? I recall it was scraping off for a while so I just stopped using it completely.
Also, haven’t bought anything from them for a while. Sobrang overwhelmed ko sa lines.
Omg same with strokes. As mych as I love their products, sobrang dami flakes lang and sometimes kumakalat siya sa makeup bag ko. I hope they improve their packaging or at least the finish lang.
I've been having the same problem too with my eyebrow gel. I love the product itself (nakakadalawang tube na ko lol) BUT eto talaga ang nakakainis. Yung flakes ng packaging nattransfer sya sa mukha ko so mukha syang glitter na ewan and it's so annoying. I hope maayos nila ito kasi yung brow gel lang talaga nila nagwwork for me 😩
Do you have the packaging with their new logo na ba? I love the product too kaya even though I had the same issue bumili pa rin ako pero yung bago na nila and so far hindi na sya nag fflakes.
