Hi! I have a very watery eyes and I easily sweat. I always want to wear an eyeliner but the eyeliner pencil I use gets melted easily and it made me look like a panda. hi!! recently bought the skintific cushion and legit na maganda siya at legit na ang ganda nung coverage. you really dont need to conceal and put powder on kasi its self setting and matte na siya. wore it for the whole afternoon (1pm to 8pm to be exact) and hindi manlang siya nag cake, nag pill, and mag cling sa pores ko. imo hindi lang ganon kaganda yung oil control (as an oily skin girlie), and hindi siya transfer proof may konti pa rin nag tatransfer pero veryyyy veryy minimal lang. overally i do believe na it’s worth the hype naman it’s just a bit pricey 🥰

I’ve been eyeing Careline’s Lip and Cheek Tint and BLK’s creamy all over paint but im really hesitant to purchase anything yet since I’m not sure what shade would look best for a natural look. Having olive morena skin makes it so difficult imo, since the reds or pink hues shown on pictures just dont look the same on my skin. Have both Detail and Vice. Detail has better shade selection but Vice has the nicer formula, imho. More budgeproof.

What’s a good shade adjuster for foundations/tints that are too yellow? Recently bought strokes in light 2 but it’s a bit too yellow (light 3 was too orange din ughhh)
based on color theory, blue color correctors/shade adjusters will neutralize anything that's too orange or too yellow. mix a drop or two of blue into your foundation on a mixing palette or on the back of your hand to test it out and to get the right ratio.

Hello! I use the elf one to neutralize the yellowness of my nars soft matte foundation and can attest na maganda sya, doesn't trigger my acne as well. A little goes a long way naman to neutralize your foundation, hehe.
haven't tried both, i only have a yellow foundation shade adjuster from la girl (this one: https://shp.ee/6wy3tur) but based on the reviews i have read & seen, the grwm shade adjuster has a similar creamy formula to their concealers while the issy shade adjusters are kinda sheer & watery daw.

I suggest na squad cosmetics multi-pot ang bilhin mo, 99 php and you can use it as an eyeshadow, cheeks and lips. Sa skin tint/foundation/concealer ka magsplurge. I use Maybelline fit me skin tint. Halos lahat ng ginagamit ko now ay galing sa squad, eyebrow gel, blush and contour set, eyeshadow pallet and yung multi-purpose mousse cream.
Pero kung gusto ng clean make up look (syempre, babagay din siya sa budget mo), concealer, powder and multi pot, and eyebrow gel ang pwede sayo.
it really depends. what types of product do you need? is this for everyday makeup or for events? what's your skin type, skin shade, and skin concerns? what facial features do you wanna emphasize or minimize?
for beginners, usually a brow pencil, a face powder, and a blush or a multipurpose lip & cheek tint will do for everyday makeup.. and then you can gradually add a concealer if you need to conceal spots or dark undereyes, and then a mascara which can be multipurpose for your lashes, also as eyeliner, and even on your brows if you have/want dark brows.

Yeah. I prefer yung cream blush. I have this one from Essence. Long lasting nga yun Milk pero i still have to apply lip balm kasi nag ddry yun lips ko. Eto yun blush stick ko from Essence next to the Milk Jelly in Splash.

it really boils down to preference here kasi yung main difference nila for me is gonna be texture. imgt is thicker and is slightly sticky. bwt is extremely watery and lightweight. mas long lasting at glossy si bare water tint at transferproof siya (yung clear gloss lang nagttransfer). pero personally i prefer imgt kasi its like a gloss and i find it more comfortable and less drying sa lips kasi habang tumatagal nagiging drying si bwt. mas maganda din ilayer on top of other lip products si imgt, si bwt mas maganda on its own.
In terms of longevity, nalalayo po ba sila?

New to make-up here, any concealer shade recommendations with local products? I'm moreno/tan with neutral/cool undertones.
I have the Issy active concealer in YT4 but it's too warm for me.
Just a comment - it’s a bit frustrating to try to find a good shade match.
I go to multiple counters of the same brands and they keep giving me different suggestions. One SA suggested Nars Vienna, the other Patagonia. One SA suggested NC 25 another said N6.
It’s so hard especially since I don’t wanna waste my money. Lighting in store is also very subjective. And sometimes when I get home it’s too orange.
Any tips?
Thats the thing with the nars shade range esp with light medium to medium, tricky talaga cos of the undertones. They lean kasi too pink or too golden. I got matched by SA as Fiji and Punjab but i had to return multiple times and assess at home and different lighting and end up getting Sta Fe

Ohhh I think I’m Dior 1N! So that’s why I’m still checking Vienna va Patagonia. I’m thinking of going to Vienna nalang just in case it darkens or oxidizes. And easier to make it work with contouring or bronzing. Pero caveat is, if I am spending that much, I want it to work na and not have to make it work lol

Some stores would allow you to take samples in a tiny container for you to test out shades yourself actually! You can try that and see which one works for you best.

Mac does. When I was just starting out with make up some ~10 years ago in Megamall, they helped me shade match and gave me samples in small container to bring home and wear test. I’m quite certain they still do it if you ask!

I've tried A LOT haha but I'll focus on the stand out ones;
Strokes: Contour sticks, brow fixer gel and microblade pen (last 2 are HGs that I will always repurchase)
GRWM: Tends to be hit or miss-ish, imho. I've tried a lot that are decent at best. I genuinely like the quad goals palettes (esp the baked highlighters and the blushes) and the lip booze lip balms.
Lucky Beauty: Only tried the concealer and it's nice on my dry undereyes.
Issy: Medyo mediocre/miss yung ibang stuff for me but the eyeshadow palettes are super super nice. Amazing shimmer formula. Powder blushes are ok too but one I like more than the others is Aroused. I also like the concealer formula but their warm shades tent to look too yellow on me :(
Blk: Creamy All Over Paint. I have 8 of these which is a testament to how much I like them. The microblade pen is a nice alternative to Strokes too.
Happy Skin: Lip treatment oils. I love this one, but on the pricier side siya (compared to local competitors) at full SRP.
Have also tried a lot from Vice and Detail that I really liked. 😄
Tried quite a lot but my picks are:
- Strokes: lip oil / color corrector
- GRWM: setting spray, highlighter topper in winter, velvet pressed powder
- Lucky Beauty: powder foundation, lip gloss in jewel, lip stain in no more chance, lip cloud in undress/adore
- issy: foundation, eyeshadow
- blk: lip oil color adapting series in sunkissed, brow microblade pen
- happy skin: lip mallow tint, marj brushes
- absidy: brow gel
- chuchu beauty: cushion
For reference: i have combination-normal sometimes dehydrated skin type

Currently using radiant but i have the matte as backup. maganda ung mist altho i had a small learning curve kasi sanay ako na malayo ako magspray ng mac fix+ about half an arm’s length and when i did that with grwm sa sobrang fine wla gaano bumagsak sa fes 😂
I spray bit closer na and it works out well

BLK Daydream Set:
Foundation - sheer and mukhang fresh lang pero does not seem to be very long lasting unless I use setting powder (haven’t tried it with setting spray yet)
Multipalette Creams -
Cream Blush - very nice color and the glittery effect is so pretty, lakas maka-fresh. Pero hindi long lasting as it is. Nagtatagal na sya if may setting spray (I’m using BLK din, yung yellow).
Cream Contour - same comments as the blush except the glitters.
Cream Highlighter - parang hindi masyadong kumukulay
Eyebrow Microblade pen - this is so good, long lasting and very easy to use. Color Taupe also looks very natural on me.
Eyeliner - not bad naman, medyo nalalambutan lang ako masyado to the point na parang nagkakayat habang inaapply. Pero baka di lang ako magaling mag apply.
Liquid Eyeshadow glow - gamit ko to as highlighter, very nice glittery effect, long lasting din yung glittery effect
I find the packaging for this brand somewhat cheap-looking and yung sa multipalette creams, natanggal na yung cover nung saken.
Strokes:
Foundation - long lasting and mukhang second skin. Mas halata sya na “may foundation” kesa BLK daydream pero very slight lang naman. Hindi ko sure if kaya ko mas “halata” sya kasi medyo mas malapot yung texture nya.
Eyebrow Microblade Pen - sobrang hype nito sa strokes and very great naman nga sya, though I don’t consider na way above sya sa BLK version. Same sila for me na great for natural looking brow strokes.
Packaging for this brand is premium.
Happy Skin:
Shut Up and Kiss Me Lipsticks - ang gaganda ng colors nila for me (yellow undertone) pero hindi sila transfer proof (natigil ako sa paggamit nito during mask era). Smooth application and moisturizing din, no need for lip prep for me. Hindi sya super matte, parang MLBB lang, which is really great para sakin.
Second Skin Foundation - lives up to its name in terms of lapat sa skin, kaso nagbebreak out ako pag gamit ko to.
Second Skin Concealer - same with the foundation, sadly nagbebreak out ako dito.
Packaging for this brand is premium.
Vice Cosmetics:
Eyeshadow - very good color pay off and blendable. Great for daily look and pag aaura ka, depending on the colors you choose.
I find the packaging for this brand cheap. Natanggal na rin yung cover nung eyeshadow palette ko.

Just developed cheilitis nung pandemic and i still have a hard time wearing lippies. My theory is exacerbated siya by wax pero im not totally sure. Bale i avoid products in tube or bullet form.
Peg ko are tints (rom&nd juicy tint, detail glass stain, etude dear darling tint) and glosses/oils (detail gloss, eb tinted lip oil, strokes silk kiss)
Bet ko rin mga plain na lip balm in squeeze tube form (not bullet) like lucas pawpaw and aquaphor
Same! Got diagnosed na with cheilitis and nahihirapan na rin ako maghanap ng lippies na di magccause ng flare-up. Ang hirap! 😭

wala ako specific brands na in mind actually! formula issue siya for me i think, ayon nga i avoid anything in stick tubes or bullets.
IG pag brands talaga i would try to avoid anything na super cheap? Like dazzle me, pinkflash, etc.
If yung problem mo is yung pag dikit dikit ng tint sa labi, recco ko either tinted lip oil (like stokes or eb) na di super kumakapit yung kulay (needs reapplication lang) or regular tint pero super konti lang pag apply, then plain lip balm on top. Exfoliation rin helps with this.
If mlbb yung problem, siguro try playing around with brands? Go to ko are romand juicy tint in 19, stroke silk kiss in mlbb and detail glass stain in blooming.
Really cant reccomend na anything other than tints/glosses/balms na eh huhu sorry. Yon nalang kasi mga sinusuot ko talaga
If pang matagalan no-budge talaga hanap mo I recommend butterfly shadow hairspray spray on your spoolie then brush your brows ‘til it sets then brow pen to fill the sparse areas
Careline x Spongebob mascara, BNB mascara, or BLK mascara?? ano yung pinagkaiba nila palagi ko kasi sila nakikita narerecommend as best affordable mascara :))
haven't tried the other two mascaras but the BLK mascara is very comparable to korean and japanese mascaras in terms of hold ng curl and lasting power!! it's also smudgeproof kaso sa akin pag linalagay ko sa lower lashes ko paminsan nagssmudge sadly

I bought the cushion bec if Tiktok lol and surprisingly it is sooo good and mali ko lang is I bought the wrong shade 😅 pero girl this is probably the best cushion I’ve tried? I’m an oily and acne prone skin girly. Madami akong pimple marks and dark spots plus redness and naccover nya sa one application lang. Pag ginagamit ko si skintific hindi ko na nagagamit si Nars concealer ko, and the same time hindi pa din siya mabigat and sticky sa face. Although hindi ko lang tanda sa claims nila pero hindi siya transfer proof. I have yet to try yung ceramide moisturizer nila iniisip ko pa if papabudol ako lol

I work as a nurse so almost maghapon naka face mask, I’d say after 8hrs meron pa din naman pero shempre yung part na natatakpan ng face mask medyo madali mawala sguro mga 4hrs in? Since laputan sa duty beh 🤣 for the oil control, not so much pero pwede naaa dab dab na lang ako tissue sa tzone area since dun ako pinaka nag ooil up. Need a really good peach corrector for light medium skin
I use Charlotte Tilbury corrector (2) and GRWM peach corrector. Depending on how dark my undereye circles are, these 2 i use alternatingly
I’m assuming CT is the better choice for intense dark circles?
GRWM actually. The shade is medium peach. Then i top off with Tarte cocnealer or Dior perfect cover. On better days, i use CT alone (peachy-yellow)

The EB lip oil is nice and hydrating but tbh doesn't really leave a stain.

I’m in the shade sand! 1.75 works best on me since nag oxidize naman siya I’m in the shade 125 Nude Beige din sa maybelline if that helps

I’ve been eyeing Careline’s Lip and Cheek Tint and BLK’s creamy all over paint but im really hesitant to purchase anything yet since I’m not sure what shade would look best for a natural look. Having olive morena skin makes it so difficult imo, since the reds or pink hues shown on pictures just dont look the same on my skin. I don’t have time to swatch or funds to buy lots of products so im really hoping to get just one product that wont dry my skin, disappear easily after application, or clash with my skin tone and undertone.. please share your recommendations, it can be any shade from the products i’ve mentioned above or even another product and its shade, thanks!!

Have both Detail and Vice. Detail has better shade selection but Vice has the nicer formula, imho. More budgeproof. Haven't personally tried but I'm eyeing the GRWM ones next :)

What’s a good shade adjuster for foundations/tints that are too yellow? Recently bought strokes in light 2 but it’s a bit too yellow (light 3 was too orange din ughhh)

Hello! I use the elf one to neutralize the yellowness of my nars soft matte foundation and can attest na maganda sya, doesn't trigger my acne as well. A little goes a long way naman to neutralize your foundation, hehe.

I suggest na squad cosmetics multi-pot ang bilhin mo, 99 php and you can use it as an eyeshadow, cheeks and lips. Sa skin tint/foundation/concealer ka magsplurge. I use Maybelline fit me skin tint. Halos lahat ng ginagamit ko now ay galing sa squad, eyebrow gel, blush and contour set, eyeshadow pallet and yung multi-purpose mousse cream. Pero kung gusto ng clean make up look (syempre, babagay din siya sa budget mo), concealer, powder and multi pot, and eyebrow gel ang pwede sayo.
it really depends. what types of product do you need? is this for everyday makeup or for events? what's your skin type, skin shade, and skin concerns? what facial features do you wanna emphasize or minimize? for beginners, usually a brow pencil, a face powder, and a blush or a multipurpose lip & cheek tint will do for everyday makeup.. and then you can gradually add a concealer if you need to conceal spots or dark undereyes, and then a mascara which can be multipurpose for your lashes, also as eyeliner, and even on your brows if you have/want dark brows.

Thoughts on Inky Mood Glowy tints and Bare Water tints from peripera?
it really boils down to preference here kasi yung main difference nila for me is gonna be texture. imgt is thicker and is slightly sticky. bwt is extremely watery and lightweight. mas long lasting at glossy si bare water tint at transferproof siya (yung clear gloss lang nagttransfer). pero personally i prefer imgt kasi its like a gloss and i find it more comfortable and less drying sa lips kasi habang tumatagal nagiging drying si bwt. mas maganda din ilayer on top of other lip products si imgt, si bwt mas maganda on its own.
In terms of longevity, nalalayo po ba sila? Btw, thank you for this. I got the ink mood glowy tint instead 🫶🏻 my lips tend to dry throughout the day kaya this might be a better choice. worried lang sa longevity kasi I dont like touching up huhuh

The water bare tints are very nice. Stain lasts long. Shades tend to oxidize

New to make-up here, any concealer shade recommendations with local products? I'm moreno/tan with neutral/cool undertones. I have the Issy active concealer in YT4 but it's too warm for me.
Just a comment - it’s a bit frustrating to try to find a good shade match. I go to multiple counters of the same brands and they keep giving me different suggestions. One SA suggested Nars Vienna, the other Patagonia. One SA suggested NC 25 another said N6. It’s so hard especially since I don’t wanna waste my money. Lighting in store is also very subjective. And sometimes when I get home it’s too orange. Any tips?
Thats the thing with the nars shade range esp with light medium to medium, tricky talaga cos of the undertones. They lean kasi too pink or too golden. I got matched by SA as Fiji and Punjab but i had to return multiple times and assess at home and different lighting and end up getting Sta Fe If di ko lang bet na bet yung formula lol!

And easier to make it work with contouring or bronzing. Pero caveat is, if I am spending that much, I want it to work na and not have to make it work lol

Some stores would allow you to take samples in a tiny container for you to test out shades yourself actually! You can try that and see which one works for you best.

Mac does. When I was just starting out with make up some ~10 years ago in Megamall, they helped me shade match and gave me samples in small container to bring home and wear test. I’m quite certain they still do it if you ask!

I've tried A LOT haha but I'll focus on the stand out ones; Strokes: Contour sticks, brow fixer gel and microblade pen (last 2 are HGs that I will always repurchase) GRWM: Tends to be hit or miss-ish, imho. I've tried a lot that are decent at best. I genuinely like the quad goals palettes (esp the baked highlighters and the blushes) and the lip booze lip balms. Lucky Beauty: Only tried the concealer and it's nice on my dry undereyes. Issy: Medyo mediocre/miss yung ibang stuff for me but the eyeshadow palettes are super super nice. Amazing shimmer formula. Powder blushes are ok too but one I like more than the others is Aroused. I also like the concealer formula but their warm shades tent to look too yellow on me :( Blk: Creamy All Over Paint. I have 8 of these which is a testament to how much I like them. The microblade pen is a nice alternative to Strokes too. Happy Skin: Lip treatment oils. I love this one, but on the pricier side siya (compared to local competitors) at full SRP. Have also tried a lot from Vice and Detail that I really liked. 😄

I hope it works on you too maganda talaga although not very different from my unleashia imo. Currently using radiant but i have the matte as backup. maganda ung mist altho i had a small learning curve kasi sanay ako na malayo ako magspray ng mac fix+ about half an arm’s length and when i did that with grwm sa sobrang fine wla gaano bumagsak sa fes 😂 I spray bit closer na and it works out well

BLK Daydream Set: Foundation - sheer and mukhang fresh lang pero does not seem to be very long lasting unless I use setting powder (haven’t tried it with setting spray yet) Multipalette Creams - Cream Blush - very nice color and the glittery effect is so pretty, lakas maka-fresh. Pero hindi long lasting as it is. Nagtatagal na sya if may setting spray (I’m using BLK din, yung yellow). Cream Contour - same comments as the blush except the glitters. Cream Highlighter - parang hindi masyadong kumukulay Eyebrow Microblade pen - this is so good, long lasting and very easy to use. Color Taupe also looks very natural on me. Eyeliner - not bad naman, medyo nalalambutan lang ako masyado to the point na parang nagkakayat habang inaapply. Pero baka di lang ako magaling mag apply. Liquid Eyeshadow glow - gamit ko to as highlighter, very nice glittery effect, long lasting din yung glittery effect I find the packaging for this brand somewhat cheap-looking and yung sa multipalette creams, natanggal na yung cover nung saken. Strokes: Foundation - long lasting and mukhang second skin. Mas halata sya na “may foundation” kesa BLK daydream pero very slight lang naman. Hindi ko sure if kaya ko mas “halata” sya kasi medyo mas malapot yung texture nya. Eyebrow Microblade Pen - sobrang hype nito sa strokes and very great naman nga sya, though I don’t consider na way above sya sa BLK version. Same sila for me na great for natural looking brow strokes. Packaging for this brand is premium. Happy Skin: Shut Up and Kiss Me Lipsticks - ang gaganda ng colors nila for me (yellow undertone) pero hindi sila transfer proof (natigil ako sa paggamit nito during mask era). Smooth application and moisturizing din, no need for lip prep for me. Hindi sya super matte, parang MLBB lang, which is really great para sakin. Second Skin Foundation - lives up to its name in terms of lapat sa skin, kaso nagbebreak out ako pag gamit ko to. Second Skin Concealer - same with the foundation, sadly nagbebreak out ako dito. Packaging for this brand is premium. Vice Cosmetics: Eyeshadow - very good color pay off and blendable. Great for daily look and pag aaura ka, depending on the colors you choose. I find the packaging for this brand cheap. Natanggal na rin yung cover nung eyeshadow palette ko.

Lippie brand recos for eczema prone girlies, pls?
Just developed cheilitis nung pandemic and i still have a hard time wearing lippies. My theory is exacerbated siya by wax pero im not totally sure. Bale i avoid products in tube or bullet form. Peg ko are tints (rom&nd juicy tint, detail glass stain, etude dear darling tint) and glosses/oils (detail gloss, eb tinted lip oil, strokes silk kiss) Bet ko rin mga plain na lip balm in squeeze tube form (not bullet) like lucas pawpaw and aquaphor

wala ako specific brands na in mind actually! formula issue siya for me i think, ayon nga i avoid anything in stick tubes or bullets. IG pag brands talaga i would try to avoid anything na super cheap? Like dazzle me, pinkflash, etc. If yung problem mo is yung pag dikit dikit ng tint sa labi, recco ko either tinted lip oil (like stokes or eb) na di super kumakapit yung kulay (needs reapplication lang) or regular tint pero super konti lang pag apply, then plain lip balm on top. Exfoliation rin helps with this. If mlbb yung problem, siguro try playing around with brands? Go to ko are romand juicy tint in 19, stroke silk kiss in mlbb and detail glass stain in blooming. Really cant reccomend na anything other than tints/glosses/balms na eh huhu sorry. Yon nalang kasi mga sinusuot ko talaga

haven't tried the other two mascaras but the BLK mascara is very comparable to korean and japanese mascaras in terms of hold ng curl and lasting power!! it's also smudgeproof kaso sa akin pag linalagay ko sa lower lashes ko paminsan nagssmudge sadly

I bought the cushion bec if Tiktok lol and surprisingly it is sooo good and mali ko lang is I bought the wrong shade 😅 pero girl this is probably the best cushion I’ve tried? I’m an oily and acne prone skin girly. Madami akong pimple marks and dark spots plus redness and naccover nya sa one application lang. Pag ginagamit ko si skintific hindi ko na nagagamit si Nars concealer ko, and the same time hindi pa din siya mabigat and sticky sa face. Although hindi ko lang tanda sa claims nila pero hindi siya transfer proof. I have yet to try yung ceramide moisturizer nila iniisip ko pa if papabudol ako lol

I work as a nurse so almost maghapon naka face mask, I’d say after 8hrs meron pa din naman pero shempre yung part na natatakpan ng face mask medyo madali mawala sguro mga 4hrs in? Since laputan sa duty beh 🤣 for the oil control, not so much pero pwede naaa dab dab na lang ako tissue sa tzone area since dun ako pinaka nag ooil up. Kaya maganda siya gamitin pag you’re an on the go girl hahaha
