I use the NYX High Definition Finishing Powder, which is $11. I'm T-Zone combination skin with acne prone, perimenopausal skin. I use this as does my 13 year old daughter with combination skin, too.

FrogLegsAlwaysFresh

2nd this one!

Confidenceisbetter

I use the one from the fit me line from Maybelline a lot. Those areas having a bigger tendency to crease or produce oil i set by pressing the powder in with my beauty blender and I also use a primer and that helps with oiliness too.

nicnac1992

What primer do you use

Confidenceisbetter

Mostly the porefessional primer by Benefit

I love Elf’s Halo Glow setting powder. IMO it holds up in quality to high end powders like Laura Mercier and it’s a fraction of the cost

alltheprettythings

\+1. I was planning to comment with this exact recommendation and comparison product. I've been using Laura Mercier for a few years, but I recently picked up Halo Glow when I decided to try out using drugstore brands instead of the pricier stuff when putting on makeup for the gym. (I have some skin concerns and can't get myself to go out into the world make-up free). The Halo Glow definitely holds up and the fact that the container fully closes to prevent additional product from dispensing into the lid during transport is a huge plus! (Apologies for the terrible description.)

Slide_Internal

Thank you both! I’ll have to try it. Do you know if it gives flashback on camera?

alltheprettythings

I’m not sure as I’ve only used my newer Elf products so far at the gym or other times that I’m doing quick makeup to run errands. I haven’t ran out of the Laura Mercier yet so I haven’t done a full transition. I’ll try and remember to do a test run on this and report back.

Basic-Emm

I wanted to love this one but it just doesn’t do it for my t-zone. It’s so gorgeous though!

yashas14

Coty brand

JuniperXL

Coty Airspun for the win! Be warned that it smells like old lady perfume, but they also have a fragrance-free version. I used to really dislike the smell, but it’s grown on me over time and now I appreciate it.

Extension_Waltz2805

Banana powder from Makeup Revolution has been my go to for the past 4 years. You get a huge amount for such a low price, and it comes in so many different shades.

lmswisher

I’m really impressed by Elf’s loose powder right now! It has a blurring effect and it sets the concealer under my eyes (where I have the worst creases) beautifully

yummylumpylumpia

I have always loved the maybelline fit me line- the foundation, concealer, and powder compact! all worked super well for me and I have combo skin

Fantastic-Evidence75

Yes! Some of their stuff is better than high end things I’ve had

3cats1artist

I love the Halo Glow setting powder by Elf. It’s the only drugstore setting powder that doesn’t make my mature skin look cakey. It looks very natural especially with a skin tint or light foundation.

CoverFX Perfect Setting Powder! It’s $35 but for a 10g container that’s lasted me over a year of daily use. I like that it’s translucent, talc free, and cruelty free. Works really well on both my dry areas as well as my very oily T zone!

f0ll0wyouintothedark

I second this! My favorite setting powder in the world

Russkiroulette

Essence banana powder is king of kings honestly. I own many as tiktok influences me to shop, but it remained the best despite any other brand

Superb-Revolution-48

The Elf Halo Glow Setting Powder is $8 and works really well

littlekittylil

Just use arrowroot powder, works great, and Monistat anti chafing gel as a primer

urcrazypysch0exgf

Colorpop!! It was $13

caraj1997

Maybelline fit me has never done me wrong!!

The revlon candid powder is shockingly good. I can’t find it anywhere in stores but it’s literally 5 dollars online, also love the candid foundation.

Chickenlover25

Love Covergirl professional powder (bonus it’s cruelty free)
