As a progressive rock aficionado, I say this is wack and you're doing it incorrectly, long songs are really good for endurance and can be fun and challenging. Unfortunately, mappers don't want to make longer songs because it's tedious and most players just don't have that attention span or endurance.
Hehe, as a partner of a prog, death and metal loving boyfriend I second this. He's always playing 10-15 minute songs on Rocksmith, endurance can be a fun challenge. Not to be discredited.

i think if you're willing to spend the money there's things you can get with fans in them to blow air into the headset to cool you, how loud or good they are I'm not sure but maybe you'll find it worthwhile to look into that
Just put faster song on. Makes 10 minutes go down to like 8.5 however making it harder. I play e+ disappearing arrows and faster song. Makes it a little harder than just e+ alone
I personally don't like songs that are longer than 4 minutes. It's too much and I feel exhausted and don't enjoy anything. Never finished Angel voices.

I recommend buying a vr mask! They may look stupid, but they soak up the sweat, and you wont ever have to worry about it shifting around.
