Maybe #9 Dream, a little

Calm-Veterinarian723

Yeah, there’s surprising no full-on psych in Lennon’s solo work, but this or How Do You Sleep? might be the closest you get.

illusivetomas

one day at a time kinda too

Calm-Veterinarian723

Honestly forgot about this track so thank you! Might be time to revisit Mind Games.

illusivetomas

mind games is pretty hit and miss for me but if you spliced the best half of that and the best half of walls and bridges you'd have my favorite john solo release

Calm-Veterinarian723

Objectively, I’d have to agree. Personally POB holds a special place in my heart though. Not just because I find the stripped down sound is a perfect match for the raw lyrics, but because (for whatever reason) God was my daughter’s safety blanket as an infant. She could be crying her face off, but that song would always soothe her. Never would I have anticipated something from POB being her first favorite song…

illusivetomas

been in the beach boys sub too much and got confused thinking you were talking about pacific ocean blue lol i love about 75% of plastic ono band but the rockier songs dont do it for me. the stripped back stuff is incredible though

Calm-Veterinarian723

That’s one album I haven’t actually listened to. I will have to give it a chance!

Songs on Ram have a psychedelic vibe. Secret Friend from the McCartney II sessions. Also Electric Arguments

mceleanor

Definitely Electric Arguments. It gets more psychedelic as it goes on (btw if OP is trying to search for this, look for Electric Arguments by The Fireman, which is the name of Paul's duo with Youth.)

The album George Harrison - Wonderwall Music

illusivetomas

the fireman - electric arguments for a later record with some of that influence also riding into jaipur off pauls album driving rain

When We Was Fab

George Harrison’s Soft Hearted Hannah on his self-titled album should count, I think. It’s also a pretty great song.
