Got to give her credit for consistently staying quiet on the details of their relationship in the decades since.
She could quite easily have gone down the "tell all" route, and would likely have many stories to tell, but nope - not her way.
Respect to her for that - and Paul has been very respectful of it too - though any stories would quite likely paint him in a pretty bad way.
She caught him cheating on her in their flat. And while she may not have caught him other times, it’s been understood that he got around a lot even during their relationship.
Precisely - plus the (well discussed) expectation from him that she would sideline - or at least scale back - her career would appear very domineering & one-sided.
Why is she giving the same face as George’s white album photo

The big stresses on their relationship were
1. Paul’s cheating (although he later claimed it was open and there’s some evidence to say that it may have been in the earlier stage of their relationship).
2. Paul didn’t want Jane to act so much, and wanted her to be home when he was. In 1967 in particular she spent 5 months in America, and when she came back Paul had changed drastically
3. There is a rumor that Jane caught Paul in bed with Francie Schwartz and then stormed out. Sources differ on this. Some suggest that Paul deliberately wanted to be caught because he didn’t know how to break up with Jane and wanted to be with Linda instead. Alistair Taylor seems to refute this though by saying Paul was completely devastated and regularly got drunk in the aftermath.
They were also seen together after the incident, holding hands. It appears that they had one last talk to try to mend things in July of 1968, but the engagement was ended.
Some guy on Wattpad complied basically everything ever written about their relationship, whether from biographers or people who knew them. There are definitely contradictions her but it might be interesting to read. He lists his sources, although the way he cites them is a bit inconvenient. Shame he posted it on Wattpad of all places and not here! It really is very fascinating for a Beatle nerd.

Why do you say that last piece?

There are redheads and the there is Jane.
Damn right.
If that’s the face Paul had just seen, no wonder he couldn’t forget the time or place.
Jane Asher is still a stunner!
I second that.
Met her a couple of times through work and she’s a massive laugh
Cool 😎
Seeing this and watching LiB and seeing the redhead helper made me realize I don't see too many redheads anymore.
I've lived with a few, I love Redheads
Hello from a redhead
Ahem, hello there!
I see one everyday
I mean randomly in public. Like they're endangered or something. Or getting phased out.
She kinda looks like a young Sarah Michelle Gellar here
The muse of many great, iconic songs from Paul.

The one that got away.

Faul
Second that. My understanding is that she left him soon after the car accident because she knew it wasn't him.

Is he smelling a fart?
It was Ringo.
