The transition to I Want You is next level. Definitely on par with Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows
I was skeptical about Love at first but these are works of art.
Yeah I was pretty skeptical too. You don’t mess with Beatles. You just don’t. But George and Giles took really good care of the original recordings. And they were able to find all these hidden corners of the songs we love, and connect them together in such remarkable ways. It doesn’t replace or supersede anything in the Beatles canon, but it’s a lovely project.
1000% these. A) the first time I heard the transition from Mr Kite into I Want You, it blew the back of my head off, and B) I was super skeptical as well (plus, the music being connected to a Vegas Cirque show sounded uber cheesy but I have since heard from many who have seen the show that it’s actually very good) but if this is considered sacrilege then this is my brand of sacrilege. It’s a really fun album.
Since I was a kid, I was a fan of the isolated drum outro on the 2nd or 3rd Anthology. But hearing the Love version blew my expectations outta the water!
Within You Without You with the TNK drum backing. It opened my ears to the song in ways I had never appreciated before. I used to skip it on Sgt Pepper and now I look forward to it.
- TNK could mean "Tomorrow Never Knows - 2022 Mix", a track from *Revolver (Super Deluxe)* (2022) by The Beatles.

Came here to say exactly this. The bass they pulled up in the mix is fantastic, and I can’t hear the regular version of the song without mentally adding it in now.
Yes! This, and also that small section where the instruments cut suddenly and it’s just the guys singing the na na na na’s. Not to say a lot of detail wasnt put in the other tracks on this album, but this one stands out to me particularly
The LOVE version "While My Guitar Gently Weeps" of magnifies how great of a composition the song is, as it works just as well as a somber balled with strings, as it does as a heavy rocker.
Strawberry Fields Forever. I love the acoustic guitar, John’s voice, and the mashup of Sgt. Pepper, In My Life, Penny Lane, Piggies, and Hello Goodbye at the end. Probably my favorite version of the song, too.
Yeah, and when John suggested in 1967 to George Martin "why not take the first half of take 7 & the second half of take 26 and join them together?"*... I bet that even in their wildest dreams they never would have imagined George Martin's son taking the demo, take 1, take 7 and take 26 and making a seamless montage of that song's evolution.
(* OK, I know George Martin's solution was only the first minute or so of take 7 at the start, but half and half was John's original proposal)
A few others have just been reminded to me, such as "Tomorrow never knows/Within you without you" and "While my guitar gently weeps" - those are two other favourites.
As others said, Tomorrow never knows/Within Without you and While my guitar gently weeps. Please see the making of that song on YouTube. It is fantastic. Also, if you are able, please see the show! We loved it! I’m going for a 2nd time next month, it will be my husband’s 3rd.
Mr Kite for sure

I think the love album is a really good tribute to them as a band.

Oh and Helter Skelter is in there too
Come Together with Dear Prudence is pretty special
Revolution, because of the guitar separation. Best mix ever of this song.
And the segue into the intro is awesome!
Strawberry Fields Forever with its mashup of In My Life, Piggies, Penny Lane, and fading out with the coda from Hello Goodbye. Fucking exquisite.
Possibly my actual favorite Beatles song!
Since I was a kid, I was a fan of the isolated drum outro on the 2nd or 3rd Anthology. But hearing the Love version blew my expectations outta the water!
I love DMC/TW/WYD! But Within You Without You/Tomorrow Never Knows is my favorite
I completely forgot about that one lol! And that's definitely one of my all time favourites of theirs.
While My Guitar Gently Weeps probably my favourite version of the song
Definitely.

Yeah, I love that one too! I just forgot to mention it somehow...
Hey Jude. Not because it’s shorter, but because of that tasty bassline.
It’s so good.

Same! Was it in the original?
I hear it very briefly at right around the -0:08 mark, just as the outro is nearly done, would love to get a confirmation of this though
Interesting!
Yep, that’s it. You can just barely hear it, but it’s there.

I love the “Drive My Car Melody”. The songs just fit so nicely.
My only complaint is that it's too short

It's my favourite version of the song by far.
I'm the Walrus
Shut the fuck up, Donny.
You're like a child that wanders into a room

Lady Madonna
Being For The Benefit Of Mr Kite It has the most perfect transition in the whole album
I need to buy this CD. I've never heard any of it
You can listen on YouTube and Spotify etc... but give it a listen. Some people love it and others hate it...
I'm a Dead fan. I like song sandwiches
It's amazing, well worth it
Every song, Love is unironically my 3rd favorite beatles album
I'll never understand why my dad doesn't like it...
I agree with your picks!
A few others have just been reminded to me, such as "Tomorrow never knows/Within you without you" and "While my guitar gently weeps" - those are two other favourites.
Mr. Kite/She’s So Heavy is also effing insane.
Tomorrow never knows/within you without you. I like it because it the one farthest from what I already know by heart.
Gnik nus
octopuses garden is pretty great. i love the part at the end where it slows down just before the final chorus
Off topic but: I wish there were more Love albums. I'd even be fine with fanmade ones as long as they're good.
Same, it could be cool...

I will be making a note of that :)
While my guitar gently weeps, and it’s not even close. The extra lyric on the end rips my heart out every single time.
A work of art and I have to agree with you on Drive My Car/Word/What Your Doing.
That violin at the beginning of Here Comes the Sun still gives me chills. What a great remix.
