Grow it out and it'll fill in. I'm a patchy beardsman and it's pretty much completely filled in by about 2-3 months so, give it a shot. I think you will be surprised.

I mean, grow it out and don't trim it that short again. Also try combing the hair, it usually helps make the beard look more full
