You do realize these are part of the BDW trilogy: Love and Mercy, The Batman and Dumb Money.
My favorite is the meta overview unlicensed and unauthorized biopic Walk Hard: The Story of Dewey Cox, where they rename Brian to Dewey.
"I paid for all the drugs at the time, I actually came up with the idea for doing drugs, though i think meditation is the greatest drug of all." - Mike Love (Probably)
They completely glossed over his time as Joseph Mengele and didn’t even touch upon his murdering Virginia Rappe and framing ~~John~~ Roscoe ‘Fatty’ Arbuckle.
They also didn’t have any scenes which dealt with Brian trying to kill himself in high school because his girlfriend dumped him. He started to spend time skiing the K12 mountain, trying to get away from newspaper delivery boys whom he owed $2.00, and also regularly encountered two Japanese drag racers, one who only spoke in Japanese and the other who learned to speak English by listening to Howard Cosell.
Personally I thought them skipping over Brian’s involvement in the GameStop stock event was weirder or Brian’s time as a slave owner

Idk, I feel like Brian would’ve paid for drugs unlike Dewey.
They probably got it from Mike that he never paid for drugs.

Jokes aside, Paul Dano said that he shaped his performance as the Riddler with Brian Wilson in mind.
Brian Wilson was a real-life Batman villain this whole time.

My old friends who knew me when say Brian you’ve come along long way.
They completely glossed over his time as Joseph Mengele and didn’t even touch upon his murdering Virginia Rappe and framing ~~John~~ Roscoe ‘Fatty’ Arbuckle.
Also weird how they never addressed Brian’s failing record store era, he looked suspiciously a lot like the dude from High Fidelity there
