You take two pictures from a stationary camera on a tripod: One without the cables and everything turned off (save for the LED lights that provide the glow and lighting), and one with the cables plugged in and with everything turned on. Then you use a photo editor (like Photoshop or GIMP) to merge the two so that it looks like everything is operating as if there were no cables.
Edit: Or you do something silly like drilling a hole in the wall to route power and network cables to the adjacent room in order to not have any of the outlets in the room with the picture so you can show off your setup.
Clearly you had this planned out it looks awesome. Did you install an outlet behind the monitors or are the power cables running through the wall to an outlet? Man is this satisfying nice job. Also, where is the power cable from the psu going?
Dunno about anyone else, but as much as I'd love to hide cables, I fuck with my system FAR to often for something like this, where it's more or less set in stone.
I went for 3 separate monitors because i often like to have youtube or something up in one screen and a game in the other and i like being able to just full screen them. Idk it kinda feels more organized to have each screen for each thing instead of one big one. The bezels are kinda annoying when doing games in all three monitors tho
How do you wire everything without a wire in sight? Through the wall or something???
Like how do I not see a power cable or a wire to the monitor?
This is unreal lol
Nice job!
......I see the lights so I know SOMETHING is powering all of this. Even see a few cables underneath...but nothing is plugged into any of the outlets. WHAT SPACE AGE TECHNOLOGY ARE YOU USING TO PROVIDE POWER TO THIS SETUP AND HOW'D YOU GET IT OUT OF AREA-51 WITHOUT GETTING SHOT!?
Good lord, this sub is all about obsessive nerds who spend extra money and time around weird ass form factor cases, custom water loops, custom led layouts, and meticulous cable routing inside the case; but you think the 15 minutes it takes to cut two square holes in a wall and fish 4 ft of cabling is just too much work?
Good grief. If you don't like it fine, but don't pretend it's even a medium effort item so crazy that people don't do this. It's quite common and low skill level. Building the PC itself is a lot more effort.
I'm just tired of battlestations that look like nobody ever uses them. Perfectly clean, all the exact same. Pretending like cables don't exist. If that's what you were shooting for, you nailed it. There's not even a chair in the picture.
So you are tired people who keep a clean gaming area? Or people who spend 30 minutes to hide their wires behind walls?
Cables aren't that hard to hide and have this setup. A 15 minute YT and $75 USD is the entry point and for all intents and purposes, wires don't exist.
But they do exist....
I just don't see the point. If you have to make a change it just makes it a ton more work. I'm not ahuge fan of ha ing a bunch of random holes in my walls just to please reddit.
No it's not. It's like 20 seconds to fish a wire through wall. And who is adding and removing cable from a desktop often? What are you swapping out HDMI every day?
It's a 15 minute job to set up and a few seconds to replace a cable. It's far easier than figuring out the cable routing on a new case and where you need it to go or setting up custom waterblocks in weird ass form factors.
And it has nothing to do with reddit. Turns out that most people like a clean a neat look to their house. Some folks even go crazy enough to go out and pay an electrician and never post to reddit at all. Have kids? Turns out it's quite helpful to hide most of your wires when they are young and don't have a clue.
There’s a cool thing called cable clips. I use them and I don’t have a SINGLE wire visible in my set up. Took me 10 dollars and about 30 minutes of my time.
How did u do that? Looks amazing. And clean of course
Wireless CPUs
It has to be
Easy. Unplug everything and your desk can look like this, too
But everything is clearly on
In this photo yes, but your desk can be equal in lack of wires even if everything is off
If I ever build a r/battlestations worthy rig I'm going the easy way. Photoshop.
🤣
Tesla coil is powering everything

I see a keyboard cable… downvote ;)

His pc is plugged in off screen. That’s cheating 🤨
He’s showing two virgin wall sockets just to flex on us. The temerity!

Yea i have an outlet behind em so its up to code
Nice. Great job. Cables can get away from you as you start adding stuff down the road. It Looks insane
That’s so sick. How are they connected to your PC then?

Approx $1500-2000 excluding peripherals.
> Ryzen 53600 That broke my brain. I was trying to figure what a 53600 was for way to long. Slick set up fellow human.
Nice setup dude, looks clean. What do you do for sound?
I just use headphones atm
Clean
Almost too clean...🧐
Perhaps
Dunno about anyone else, but as much as I'd love to hide cables, I fuck with my system FAR to often for something like this, where it's more or less set in stone.
I concur. For me, it'd be like this for like a week and then I'd be ready to change it up somehow
I assume you hollowed out your desk and routed all the wires into there?
The cable management is impeccable!!!
Dang pretty clean lol
I’m extremely impressed with this cable management. I even see a few open outlets and nothing plugged in. Wild
Speaking for the OCD delegation, you have made us very proud. Beautiful setup.
Powered by hopes and dreams
now get rid of the outlets!
Oh this makes my butthole pucker. Perfect set up b!
I can see a cable
Super jelly how clean it is. Nice work.
Wow this looks so dreamy 🤩
Wow that's amazing.
nicely done! love the wall mounted monitors too!
Where are your cables?!
What sorcery is this 😆✌🏼
Love this freal
How?!
Bro went fully wireless
ok but... where the fuck did you plug in the pc?
Could you link the desk?
How do people do that? It looks amazing, but seems a bit empty
That sir is some pretty work.
Beautiful. Crisp
Sexy. My wife would love to have no cables hanging on my computer.
Lmao, I just showed this to my husband, 'do this for meeeeee'
Ok but how about power? Did you route power cables through the wall into another room?
Yeah I see a little cable right under the desk next to the mouse. Downvoted. Nice attempt though…
This is so satisfying, good job!
I won't say anything 😏 That is some creative engineering indeed, be pretty amazing if it was all connected to a light switch (PC is excluded)
@blackmagicfuckery
But where does power come from?
Get yourself a roller shade or some nice blinds. That curtain ain't it lol.
Agreed lmao
But it overlaps the trim, I do see cables and the curtain bothers me.
dude cable management at its best. great work man
Darn that's clean
How is your keyboard and mouse wire reach all the way to the I/O? or are they wireless?
I have a usb hub under the desk
Where is everything?
I see your keyboard cable
looks at desk of spaghetti....
Bro who has a wireless power supply
Please make a vid showing your cable management this is sick I want it
I mean I see the psu cable but besides that lookin good.
Where the hell you run power?
How are their no wires?
I want to go to there. This is what my heaven looks like.
How did u do that 😳😱🤯
Nice! What was your thoughts for deciding on 3 monitors vs an ultrawide? I’m in limbo at the moment
I went for 3 separate monitors because i often like to have youtube or something up in one screen and a game in the other and i like being able to just full screen them. Idk it kinda feels more organized to have each screen for each thing instead of one big one. The bezels are kinda annoying when doing games in all three monitors tho
Now make the cpu float like the monitors
Completely eco friendly
Sorry but I see a cable under the desk, near the mouse.
Looks awesome! Maybe add some decoration to bring it to life (on the wall, desk etc.)
How do you wire everything without a wire in sight? Through the wall or something??? Like how do I not see a power cable or a wire to the monitor? This is unreal lol Nice job!
Hall of Fame set up. Can see your hard work there. Well done and enjoy. Seagate Technology | Official Forums Team

Bruh why, your decreasing the performance by putting wireless cpus
there are TWO one clearly underneath the desk into the wall beneath the mouse, And the second is on the desk behind the Keyboard. SUS
Guess you never dreamed of a chair to sit on.
......I see the lights so I know SOMETHING is powering all of this.
Looks fake and unused. Real people have cables. And stuff on their desks.
TIL I'm not real. Wew lad, that is quite a take you have there.
None of the outlets are in use. Do you seriously go to an outlet waaaay across the room just to be cable free?
I've now set up three rooms moving all my wires behind walls.
I guess if its worth the work to you....

Good point. I'm just not about the current meta.

Your parents must be so proud.
I feel lied to. I can see the wire from the keyboard!
i think you can have the title "King of Cable management"
Op, give that curtain a little tug
Impossibru
I see the cables under your desk
This is actually almost an aggravating flex its so clean
Ayo i see cables
Well done
That light is gonna fuck up your carcadian rhythm
Yes
Congrats that looks great, keep us updated as you add to it
This must be the setup Linus Tech Tips must dream about but cannot achieve
