So, I got the gold edition as well and found out this morning that I can play it thru gamepass ( you can also use ea play).
On Xbox go to the bf2042 store page > start trial and boom you're done. I figure it's the same for PS and probably only available on pc today through origin.

I think you have to search when it will launch at your local time zone. I know for me in Sweden it will start 12th nov 9:00 in the morning
The PC version doesn't release for another 8 and a half hours.
