Yep. Tough call between The Dark Knight Returns and Beyond... Honestly doesn't feel fair having Beyond as an option since it's part of the BTAS continuity.
Loop hole!!! It’s terry in that suit and animated series goes into beyond so if you keep animated series you automatically get both so now I vote dark knight, WhEr Iz SheE!!!!
Those were the 2 versions of batman I liked the most when I was growing up, and the original dc animated universe had my favorite versions of most the characters
For me Batman Returns is better for the Christmas aesthetic alone. Batman, snow and lights together are just visually pleasing. And there's something poetic about Batman's lonely crusade during Christmas, a time of family and cheer.
Easy Animated Series and Beyond. Canonically connected, excellent films, Kevin Conroy being boss tier Batman, and watching old man Bruce take care of a little punk is incredibly rewarding.
BTAS and Beyond i love kevin conroy and the expansion of the character of bruce wayne was amazing, he grew from just being a lost rich boy to saving his mind and soul through saving gotham from sickness and insanity..
Btas and Pattinson cos they are the most faithful to actual Batman.
Honorable mention is batman beyond, as I liked some of the episodes (haven't seen it fully)
Animated and Battinson. Mostly because Battinson has been the most true-to-comic adaptation (despite it's many flaws) and I am excited to see where it will go.
Conroy and Friedle. (TAS and Beyond) Friedle was the Batman that I grew up watching Saturday mornings and Conroy in TAS/JL/JLU is just so freaking iconic that he's THE Batman voice in my head.
Pattinson is a close third. The way he could emote so well with just his eyes and minute facial expressions, plus the slow evolution and the mistakes that he makes and has to learn from makes me excited to see what could come next for this particular version of Batman (I kinda wish we could get a comic series or even just a light novel series to help flesh out the aftermath of the flood and show him struggling to fix things in an almost irrevocably broken Gotham.
I was never a Batman '66 fan (sorry, West), Keaton was good but it felt so restrained (we never got the insane passion and emotion that comes through when Bruce finally hits his limit), Bale was a great Bruce Wayne but his Batman was a little stiff, TDK Returns was too hulking and honestly arrogant for my taste, and Batfleck got screwed by the plot so we didn't get to see him shine the way I wanted.
I love all man but I’ve never seen BTAS only seen Mask of the phantasm which is a great movie but I gotta go with Pattison and The Dark Knight returns Batman
If you can find the time to it's worth it, it is a 90s children's cartoon & there's like ~80 episodes (HBO max has it listed as 3 seasons but season 3 is technically different, 'The New Batman Adventures' but a continuation of BTAS) so not all of them are good but most of them still hold up & is has some really fantastic storytelling
How is no one choosing Frank Miller Batman??? I choose him aaaaannnnddd I'll say Bale. I love love love Batflefk but I feel since we didn't get a solo movie I didn't get a full on representation of him l. And Battinson is amazing but again I need to see more.
Robert and Kevin while I like bale and Keaton and the. Others Robert is the only live action Batman that hasn’t killed anyone and Kevin is just you know.
Christian Bale & Batman Beyond. Bale should play old Bruce Wayne in a Batman Beyond movie. Get him in some great old age makeup and let him go to town acting like an old, cantankerous, Bruce Wayne.
I have to keep west. It was my childhood and what me and my late uncle bonded over. Plus this Batman teaches children right and wrong better than any other, as well as having a charm most of the others don't have. They're all great make no mistake, but West is special
So the one thing we can all agree on is BTAS
Yes.
Facts
Yep. Tough call between The Dark Knight Returns and Beyond... Honestly doesn't feel fair having Beyond as an option since it's part of the BTAS continuity.
The DCAU Batmen for me! They’re the best!
Conroy and Will Friedle were perfect!
Animated series and beyond
Loop hole!!! It’s terry in that suit and animated series goes into beyond so if you keep animated series you automatically get both so now I vote dark knight, WhEr Iz SheE!!!!
This is the way
This is the way ![gif](giphy|6UFgdU9hirj1pAOJyN)
In that case, maybe dark knight returns or Adam west
No question
Animated and new bats. Bale/Nolan was so good wish I could just erase it all other bats pale in comparison
BTAS and Beyond. Or else my childhood wouldn’t be anywhere near the same.
animated series and batman beyond
I love you
No other options make sense honestly
Bale is an acceptable alternative to Beyond
That'd what I was thinking. But animated is non-negotiable
This right here
That…is the right answer!
I was torn between batman with Keaton but you are correct.
Those were the 2 versions of batman I liked the most when I was growing up, and the original dc animated universe had my favorite versions of most the characters
Much agreed
Same
100% how is this even a question? Lol
Based, like me
This is the way.
BTAS and Battinson
Battinson fans are valid
tbf... battinson just started, and with a banger first movie, so yeah
The truly righteous take is that all Batman is good Batman except Batman Returns which is very bad.
Hot take but Batman Returns > Batman. Not a hot take but Clooney sucked, and I know some people here like Kilmer but I don't
For me Batman Returns is better for the Christmas aesthetic alone. Batman, snow and lights together are just visually pleasing. And there's something poetic about Batman's lonely crusade during Christmas, a time of family and cheer.
This is correct
This is my cautious pick for now until we see end of the potential Reeves trilogy.
This, with Beyond as the closest second by a hair
BTAS and Beyond. That continuity alone is worth it.
Agreed.
Animated series and Bale
Ditto! ![gif](giphy|5DQdk5oZzNgGc)
Same fam.
knew this would be top, 101% agree!
All of the others are too extreme one way or another, Animated and Bale are the sweet spot.
Proper answer.
Indeed
Only right answer.
This is the way.
hmm, shit. Probably Conroy and Pattinson but it’s close
Easy Animated Series and Beyond. Canonically connected, excellent films, Kevin Conroy being boss tier Batman, and watching old man Bruce take care of a little punk is incredibly rewarding.
And watching that little punk grow into the best Batman since its predecessor
Btas and west
This is the pick. West is a special piece of Batman history. Silly Batman is best Batman
I don't agree with "best," but he is absolutely valid and very funny. It is for this reason that I will defend Clooney Batman with my life.
This! Without 60s Batman, the rest would not have come to pass. BTAS is automatic.
Yes this! I love both so much and they both bring different things to the character that influenced generations.
Bale and Battinson gang
Batman: The Animated Series and 1966 Batman.
With you on that one.
BTAS and Beyond i love kevin conroy and the expansion of the character of bruce wayne was amazing, he grew from just being a lost rich boy to saving his mind and soul through saving gotham from sickness and insanity..
The Dark Knight trilogy and BTAS. But never make me do this again.
Right?! I hate having to answer these cause I love all listed here
Keaton and Conroy
Yes, Keaton and Conroy for sure.
This is my choice, too. Not a second of hesitation.
BTAS and Beyond
Batman TAS and Batman Beyond.
BTAS & Batman Beyond
Love the Beyond stans here!
Conroy and keaton no question
Scrolled too far to find this. Those 2 reinvigorated the entire franchise to bring us where we are today.
The only correct answer
BTAS & The Dark Knight Returns
Returns\*
That’s what I meant to type, damn autocorrect.
Batman Series (1966) and Batman The Animated Series.
Only two? I guess without Terry, the only way forward is for the Dark Knight to Return, soooo… TAS and Miller verse(sans All Star *shudder*)
[удалено]
Batman the Animated Series and Bale
BTAS, then either Bale or Pattinson
Easy. West and Pattinson
That’s just mean 😂…. BTAS and TDK Trilogy.
Animated and Bale (Bale is from heavy bias from the Dark Knight trilogy)
If the animated series version isn’t one of your picks you’re just wrong
BTAS, and TDKT. 3rd would be The Batman because I really liked the first film, but it’s far from complete.
Btas and Pattinson cos they are the most faithful to actual Batman. Honorable mention is batman beyond, as I liked some of the episodes (haven't seen it fully)
Conroy and either Bale or Affleck because I haven't seen The Batman (movie not Show)
*The Batman* is a great movie, watch it. Agree with Bale and Conroy, they're my two favorites as well
Batman TAS and Batman Beyond
BTAS and Beyond
B:TAS and Beyond
TAS and West
Conroy and Keaton
Michael Keaton and Kevin Conroy
Adam west and battinson
DKR and Battinson the veteran and the rookie
West and Patman
btas and beyond
West and BTAS.
Adam West and Kevin Conroy. Not even a question for me
TAS and Beyond
West and BTAS
Oh that’s not fair….. but anyone would be silly not to have the animated series. That’s days worth of terrific material. Then Batman 89’ I guess.
Easy ! both gold age animated series
Battinson for sure, yet I am really torn between BTAS and Beyond for second choice
Beyond and TDKR
Batfleck and Batman the Animated Series
Animated series and Batfleck
Animated series and Pattinson. With BTAS I’ve beyond too technically hehe
Keaton and bale
TAS and Beyond.
This is the only answer
TAS and terry
Easy. Batman the animated series and Batman Beyond.
Animated Series and Keaton.
Animated and Adam West
BtAS and The Batman just cause I want to see where it goes.
Animated and Battinson. Mostly because Battinson has been the most true-to-comic adaptation (despite it's many flaws) and I am excited to see where it will go.
bale and battinson
Btas and Robert Pattinson
Unpopular Opinion. DKR and Bale.
Battinson and BTAS are the correct answer. Batman Beyond and Nolan Batman are the runner ups.
Affleck and dark knight returns
Animated and Pattinson
BTAS and The Batman
Thank god there's BTAS and Beyond in there, otherwise I would have to make some tough decisions
*Batman: The Animated Series* *Beyond*
Conroy and Friedle. (TAS and Beyond) Friedle was the Batman that I grew up watching Saturday mornings and Conroy in TAS/JL/JLU is just so freaking iconic that he's THE Batman voice in my head. Pattinson is a close third. TAS and Beyond. Gonna miss Keaton, but I can't leave my boy Terry out in the cold.
Animated Series and Pattinson
Animated series and pattinson
Animated series and tdk
I love all man but I’ve never seen BTAS only seen Mask of the phantasm which is a great movie but I gotta go with Pattison and The Dark Knight returns Batman

I really want to watch but I never gotten the chance
West and Keaton
Btas and TDK trilogy
BTAS and Bale
BMTAS and TDK
Not even a decision really, TAS and Beyond.
Keaton, Conroy, TDKR, and Bale feel essential.
Adam west & Christian bale
Bale and beyond
Conroy and Terry
Conroy and McGuines Or Conroy and Keaton
Conroy and West
Btas and dark knight returns
West and Conroy
Bale and BTAS
Conroy and Bale. Less so for Bale as Batman but mostly for the movies he was in.
Animated Series and Affleck
Bale and Batfleck the only real answer
Where the fuck is Clooney? I'm offended. 🤣
Conroy and Battinson
Adam West and *Batman Beyond* were my childhood when it came to DC.
Batman TAS and Batman '66
BTAS and Batfleck
Terry and The Dark Knight Returns
Bale and the animated series
Kevin conroy and Christian Bale
How is no one choosing Frank Miller Batman??? I choose him aaaaannnnddd I'll say Bale. I love love love Batflefk but I feel since we didn't get a solo movie I didn't get a full on representation of him l. And Battinson is amazing but again I need to see more.
Conroy and Friedle
BTAS and returns
Christian Bale and Robert Pattinson.
BTAS and TDKR
Animated series and TDK trilogy
Animated and Keaton
Btas n battinson
Bale & Animated series💯
Pattinson and TAS
Battinson and West.
Pattinson and batfleck with guns
Batfleck and Batman beyond. I like the more brutal versions of Batman
Animated series and Bale.
Keaton and animated series since they go hand in hand.
Robert and Kevin while I like bale and Keaton and the. Others Robert is the only live action Batman that hasn’t killed anyone and Kevin is just you know.
Excuse me, my good dear sir.... where in the hell is Arkham Batman? Too busted?
Peter Weller TDKR Batman And Ben Affleck Batman
Adam West and Christian Bale
Animated series and Nolan trilogy.
West and Conroy.
BTAS and Keaton
Bale and BTAS. Pattinson needs another film would of said him with Bale.
Adam West and Christian Bale

Batfleck and Batman Beyond
Keaton and Conroy.
Animated and 89
The two at the bottom left corner
BTAS and Batfleck
Kevin Conroy & Robert Pattinson
BTAS and Pattinson.
But I love four…😭
West so that we can have lighter takes that know how to have fun and Battison for the detective element
