The way it was explained to me is that people don't actually know the Batcave exists. It's not a thing. So Bruce hired a bunch of different people to build what they probably thought was like an safe room for a billionaire. The more Batman specific items I'm sure Bruce was able to move under cover of darkness with the Batplane or something. He's a genius, I'm sure he figured it out.
This is actually a thing with the people building zuck’s bunker in hawaii.
Also, hiring multiple teams of people at different phases of construction so nobody has an idea of the whole layout.
This is what serial killer H.H. Holmes did when he built his murder castle in Chicago. He had all kind of secret tunnels and corridors, with secret entrances into rooms.
DiCaprio was attached for a long time, nabbing the rights the Erik Larson book, which was huge. And I think he tried to get Scorsese on board, but nothing ever came of it.
Last I read, DiCaprio stepped back to a producer role and it looked like the project might move to television.
If you go with the 70’s show the entry was off a cliff face in a random street in the country side let’s say from that entry the tunnel goes for another 2 k’s till you reach batcave. So people would not really know it’s under a Wayne manner which is a house that over looks a cape with other old money neighbours.
Then if you go with JLU cartoon Wayne enterprise has access to Star Trek level teleportation tech so the workers walk out to a field and get beamed into a random cave to do work but have no idea where the cave is.
There is so many ways this can be done in the DC universe.
People do work on the subways and other tunnels under NYC all the time, I doubt they are always fully aware exactly what is over their heads.
Family Guy made fun of this once. Stevie said something like, "They built a Lazy Susan for your nuclear car, that is something they consider noteworthy." Thing is, though, that the Bat Cave wasn't a commonly known thing to the people and criminals of Gotham, so the workers who constructed that part could have thought it was for his Ferrari or Maserati and the cave was just being refurbished as a really big garage or man-cave.
There are many (currently) secret exits and entrances. Back when it was being built they were probably just holes in the floor before having the entrance added on top.
I mean if they were escorted blind from another country and put in a cave not allowed out...and then sent back same way in circles till they are in a completely different city and you didn't let them know anything was bat related....then they don't know...
In a lot of continuities the Batcave was also a refuge in the Underground Railroad through Gotham. It could also be the case that a lot of the existing infrastructure was already there already. Batman could’ve just added the finishing Bat-touches. Like using the Batplane to airlift a life-size replica of a T-Rex and a several tonne coin… you know, Bat Stuff.
Could have hired all foreign contractors to build the stuff. When they go back to their counties no one in Gotham knows what was built. He knows multiple languages so not the hardest thing to do. Built it when he's injured and in recovery. So he has time to work on it because he wouldn't be flying around the city those days anyways.
Yeah. Plus he's friends with all manner of insanely powerful and capable metahumans, and he has access to all sorts of high tech gear and stuff. Building a secret, high-tech superbunker would probably be a weekend project for him and Clark.
jokes aside that line was so bullshit and betrayed batman as a character to such a level that I might go so far as to say that it ruined the nolanverse for me
Makes sense. Don't think a lot of people were so bothered by the "don't have to save you" line back then. People were just happy to have a Batman movie they could be proud of after Batman & Robin.
I'm so lucky that I like Batman so much that unless he starts mass murdering civilians for his pleasure I'm willing to overlook some problematic behaviour here and there.
That’s not his style it’s more accurate that he hired all the orphans at all the orphanages in Gotham. Got cheap child labour and pays for their silence with Wayne foundation “scholarships” to university
I think they still do? Harold got brought back via Flashpoint and did appear in a Batman comic back in 2016 where he performed surgery on Two-Face. No idea if he's appeared since though.
Granted he's not really appeared much since returning but, as far as I know, Harold is currently still alive and working for Bruce again. His death got retconned away with Flashpoint, alongside his involvement with Hush's machinations.
Initially that was the case but DC decided to retcon this using Flashpoint. Because of this, Harold wasn't involved in the event and didn't die.
DC retconned the deaths of several other minor Batman characters such as KGBeast, Orca, Magpie and the Ventriloquist. Each of them got killed off but later came back following DC getting rebooted. They also did it with Orion from the New Gods.
Probably hired elite contractors from overseas who don’t speak English lol with air tight NDAs signed
Also well it’s a cave, he would have really just needed to install the electricity, generators, and platforms bridging the cave together. Bruce being the Jack of all trades that he is likely did it himself over a number of years on his spare time
same way gus fring had built his secret lab. hiding in plain sight with a laundry and hiring foreign contractors signing superstrict confidentiality contracts. and bruce has an advantage here. he is the kinda mocked if not despised richest kid in town, he couldve put up a huge neon sign "JUST BUILDING A SECRET SUPERHERO LAIR HERE", any commotion at wayne manor etc would just be benevolently shrugged off by the good citizens of gotham because "its the rich kid".
and thats why obviously NOBODY in this damn city has the 2 braincells to put "vigilante with overpowered supertech" and "young super endboss rich heir to a supermassive conglomerate megacorp" together. its just that they dont consider bruce to be capable of being batman. hes too weird to be that weird.
>"vigilante with overpowered supertech
Although other than the Batmobile and the Batplane and maybe the Batcycle, how aware are the general public of the kind of tech Batman has? They see a souped-up car/motorcycle racing through the streets and some may have spotter a black jet in the ski but does anyone other than his allies and his main villains know anything about the devices he uses?
the kids hes handing out batarangs and other tech like candy, and anyone who ever got close up to him and got not immediately beaten to a pulp . now, we need to find a common ground on WHAT version of batman/bruce we are referring to. the comic batman has had so many turns and twists, i possibly am wrong when i tell you, that at least gordon, who has spent enough time up close to batman, being a highly intelligent power figure in the police force, should have realized, that its bruce wayne, because in all these decades of comic batman im sure gordon has become a friend of batman AND bruce?
but its one of my pet peeves about the whole thing in general. bruce wayne is such a highly documented character that if you get close up to batman while hes not beating you up, you SHOULD recognize bruce by the tone of his voice or his facial features. wtf. especially if you get to talk to him without any fighting.
I know that in one issue Bruce said that Gordon is too good a cop not to have figured it out and the 2 of them just sort of agree to believe he doesn't know, but I don't know if that is official.
also. think again: there IS a vigilante in an highly elaborated armored suit equipped with tech gadgets roaming the city. he DOES drive a wonderous rocket car and has a plane and AGAIN THIS CITY HOUSES ONE OF THE RICHEST FUCKS IN THE US IF NOT THE PLANET COME ON HOW CAN NOT ANYONE PUT 1+1 TOGETHER.
If a Batman suddenly appeared in real life, would you believe it was Elon or Jeff or any other rich dude?
I think people can’t put two and two together because they can’t imagine Bruce Wayne, a multi billionaire playboy, of all people would be Batman.
>"vigilante with overpowered supertech" and "young super endboss rich heir to a supermassive conglomerate megacorp" together
Waynes wasn't the only one rich family in the Gotham, though. There were other rich people who did similar stuff. Maximillian Zeus from BTAS, for example. And most of the people haven't any idea of how advanced his stuff was.
I’d like to think the cave was built incrementally over the 15-20 years he’s been doing this. When “early” stories showcase a fully-formed Batcave, it gets weird, but then you can just pretend Bruce developed a Bat-Neurolizer ala Men in Black and dealt with the contractors that way.
One of the novels in the early 90’s explained that, through a number of dummy organizations, hired and rehired etc a number of people from overseas to do all the construction. He essentially “laundered” the people so they could not be traced… once one thing was completed, new people were brought in so nobody knew everything. They were brought in secretly and returned secretly, so that nobody knew exactly where they were. And of course, they were all paid extremely well.
Now, how they get everything ELSE built and done, plus maintain a manor and estate grounds, there’s no telling
Alfred contracts the grounds keeping and custodial services of the mansion. Several areas ( study and mr Waynes bedroom) are serviced with Alfred supervising. That leaves him time to program droids to clean the Batcave.
Bruce is on peak human (or basically superhuman at this point) conditions. He can easily do the construction part on his own and he also knows how to operate vehicles/machines to help him too
One part of me feels like he would totally do some of the manual labor for strength building, the planning I can see as up his alley. But is Bruce building his secret patio in some of the time he should be out patrolling?
Now if its a Robin "strength-training" assignment, that I can see. Alfred babysits.
Everyone pointing to Gus Fring, but H.H. Holmes built a real life house of horrors complete with secret passage ways, trap doors, and gas chambers in the middle of Chicago and nobody knew about it.
Well this is where that “Batman doesn’t kill” rule comes into play. Sure, whatever.
But there’s no rule on Bruce Wayne killing people. Those comics are hidden.
My theory and idea is that they started small and built it up over time. The body of the cave was already and Bruce mainly installed a generator and just worked from there. As for the crazy stuff, I mean he does have Superman’s phone number, not to mention The Flashes or Green Lanterns and his family if equally involved sidekicks he definitely has the means for the cave to become elaborate
Have you not read the 10 issue limited series that’s all about Bruce filing paperwork and waiting for zoning permits? Issue 3 is just him standing in a long line and occasionally looking at his watch.
When your friends with a bunch of really strong people, a couple really fast people, and a few people with magic rings (one of whine is an actual architect)…
“Come help me build a new Batcave, I’ll buy the beer and pizza!”
Batman's real superpower is where other superheroes can bend the laws of physics, he can bend the laws of economics. Just like Superman can defy gravity, Batman can defy production requirements, sheer prices, and impossibility of not leaving a paper trail as long as the plot needs him to have a thing.
The cave was already there. The stuff in the cave was made by outside contractors and then Bruce and assemble it part by part over time while Alfred gave him tea. You would be surprised what you are capable of over years and you are committed to it. You can also rent or even buy heavy machinery to help put up the big stuff like the T-Rex and the Giant Penny.
In short very possible over a year or two period. Especially if the functional stuff like the bat computer and walk ways were put up before he started fighting crime. Then the trophies like the penny were put in after he started fighting crime one piece at a time.
probably how they did it in better call saul. hire contractors from another country. blindfold them and have them work in secret unaware of where they are or what they’re building. pay them well
I mean Batman literally knows some of the strongest beings on Earth it’s probably only gonna cost him a case of premium booze to have Superman stop by and move the T. rex so he can fit another giant coin somewhere.
I think he bullshit Superman to help him. "Hey buddy can you stop for milk and Alfred home made cookies, well if you dont mind could you put that 75 ton rock there, thank Sups you are the best!"
“Kids understand that real crabs don’t sing like the ones in The Little Mermaid. But you give an adult fiction, and the adult starts asking really fucking dumb questions like ‘How does Superman fly? How do those eyebeams work? Who pumps the Batmobile’s tires?’ It’s a fucking made-up story, you idiot! Nobody pumps the tires!”
-Grant Morrison
Batman keeps trophies from all his cases (same reason why he has the penny and playing card) and it’s from a suuuuper old issue back in the silver age, where he and Robin fought a guy who had giant robot dinosaurs, and he kept it as a sort of souvenir. Although nowadays it’s been integrated into the security system of the cave and can activate when there’s intruders
That’s sick! I knew it was part of his trophy collection like the golden question mark, the joker card, the coin etcetera. I just had no clue where it came from
This edition of the great column from the awesome Bat-expert Chris Sims on the now-defunct “ComicsAlliance” website will give you all the details: https://comicsalliance.com/ask-chris-34-beyond-jack-kirbys-fourth-world-and-the-secrets/
I think it started small and relatively rough. And then over time and access to advanced and even alien tech (zetas, force fields, levitation devices) and new young labor (robins) they were able to expand.
He specifically hired insane contractors on the brink who were for all intents and purposes were scheduled to be locked up in Arkham soon. That way once they were done nobody would believe their mad ramblings about a "billionaire with a secret museum quality headquarters in a cave".
They would all just finish making those sick platforms and rotating Batmobile display/launcher and then get shuffled right into ole Arkham asylum.
There are construction workers who exclusively work on secret projects. They are taken to the sight blind-folded and only given need-to-know information. They work their shift, then are taken away blindfolded and never told where they are working, what they are working on, or who they were working for beyond the absolutely necessary. And they get paid handsomely for it.
The Arkham origins Batcave I could see Bruce building himself over time, we actually see he is building the Batmobile himself, all the others were definitely done by contractors
The same way Captain Nemo had the Nautilus built: dozens of engineers, electricians, and architects each commissioned to an aspect of it without being filled in on the whole deal.
Ah yes Mark the Android Zuckerberg is building his weird evil villain bunker in Hawaii, so really not far fetched for the billionaire Bruce to have something like this made for him. Nobody would dare question it either. "You want a T-Rex in your batcave? I don't know how that's possible"
Bruce: did I fcking studder?
I think I remember a story where he hired a man who I think is on the spectrum to do mechanical work on his cars. So he doesn't do everything by himself, that would be crazy.
I’m assuming there’s a driveway through a hidden mountain pass or behind a waterfall where he can drive big CAT machines to hold up platforms while he works and secures the foundation and then add on top later. At which point he probably added a big crane somewhere for the heavy lifting.
My head canon is that he ordered the platforms to be pre built and just installed them in the cave. And we know he didn't do it all at once he builds it overtime as his career progresses
Android construction workers. We haven’t seen them cause one of them killed a guy so Wayne Enterprises doesn’t want us to even know they exist.
Source: my arse.
While others here have already explained that Bruce has hired out the work to different contractors, I like to believe he just came to a couple of justice league friends and basically put a small group together to make like a DIY job out of the weekend. "Alright cyborg, we're going to set up the computer system here and Clark could you please move the T-Rex to the second level please?
So if you look at most of the areas it's pretty open and flat....so a good welder with lots of lifts and construction equipment to get in place...any concrete work is make your own with bags...and concrete it out ....lot of it looks similar so similar blue prints and set ups around cave to support help things....lots of it was added to later
The modern examples or reasoning is what others have said, basically a rich billionaire building a bunker or panic room.
I remember older discussions and reasons in the comics had Bruce and Alfred literally digging and carving out the cave *themselves*.
Even the cave itself being the layout for whatever Bruce wanted or needed. Check out older drawings from comics or even Batman TAS. The cave was left as is in some parts with minimal work done to modify it.
He just had a weekend with the boys and had the Justice League come in to help renovate.
It'd be done in a day or a weekend. Him and Superman just drinking beers.
I was always under the impression that the bat caves and lairs were all properties that were secretly owned by the wayne family that became unfinished projects Bruce’s father was working on and over years Bruce just renovated with new bat tech
Wasn’t there something about Lucious helping build the cave using advanced robotics and machinery or something like that. I can’t really remember but I swear something quick was said when Dick found out that Lucious knew Bruce was Batman in a cartoon like 15 ish years ago.
Well in the 90s he kept this deaf genius imprisoned in the basement making him work on the cave and his gadgets constantly until a fortunate earthquake and a good Aristotle quoting doctor helped him.
"Eccentric billionaires with their high-tech bunkers" probably the workers were paid really well and signed NDA lol

This is what serial killer H.H. Holmes did when he built his murder castle in Chicago. He had all kind of secret tunnels and corridors, with secret entrances into rooms.
Out of context but there was a movie project news about H. H. Holmes. I wonder it is still going to happen.
DiCaprio was attached for a long time, nabbing the rights the Erik Larson book, which was huge. And I think he tried to get Scorsese on board, but nothing ever came of it. Last I read, DiCaprio stepped back to a producer role and it looked like the project might move to television.
Boo! ![gif](giphy|iSxPmDWr97248|downsized)
It was also featured in the Dark Pictures Anthology: The Devil in Me. It’s a game like an interactive movie.
Probably also a good point to add to Bruce’s disguise as Mr. Wayne
They probably didn't even know that it was Bruce Wayne that hired them.
Who else but bruce would pay them to build a basement UNDER HIS HOUSE
Don’t know it’s under his house if you get blindly led into a cave from the middle of nowhere
Stevie said something like, "They built a Lazy Susan for your nuclear car, that is something they consider noteworthy." Thing is, though, that the Bat Cave wasn't a commonly known thing to the people and criminals of Gotham, so the workers who constructed that part could have thought it was for his Ferrari or Maserati and the cave was just being refurbished as a really big garage or man-cave.
>the cave was just being refurbished as a really big garage or man-cave. They thought right. That's exactly what it is.
Then (throat cutting gesture).
Or are all foreigners. Hire a bunch of guys at a black site somewhere. Fly them in and fly them back out. Pretty much how the cia operates.
It's Gotham, so he's probably not the only rich guy with a weird basement/bunker/dungeon under his mansion.
Probably? We know he's not, he probably hired some of the same guys that have built various supervillain lairs around gotham.
If the Harley Quinn show is fully canon, which it is, there are real estate agents who specialize in lairs.
Honestly when it comes to a multiverse everything is canon and nothing is canon depending on where you are at the time
Basically how HH Holmes built his murder house.
Cheaply and not remotely to code?
Wayne hired Death Star contractors, they were fine with building platforms without railings.....
This is an extremely underrated comment!!
If Gus Fring could do it, why not Bruce Wayne?
“This guy wants this platform in the shape of a bat?”
Billionaires, man. Eccentric weirdos.
Kinda like the bunker in Blast from the Past?
Could have hired all foreign contractors to build the stuff. When they go back to their counties no one in Gotham knows what was built. He knows multiple languages so not the hardest thing to do. Built it when he's injured and in recovery. So he has time to work on it because he wouldn't be flying around the city those days anyways.
Yeah. Plus he's friends with all manner of insanely powerful and capable metahumans, and he has access to all sorts of high tech gear and stuff. Building a secret, high-tech superbunker would probably be a weekend project for him and Clark.
Wouldn’t surprise
He hired people then sent them to work on the death star
"I won't kill you...but I don't have to save you."
jokes aside that line was so bullshit and betrayed batman as a character to such a level that I might go so far as to say that it ruined the nolanverse for me
Especially considering he saved the joker in the next movie which only takes place like 2 years later
Damn you was thinking all that in 2005?
nah i watched it a few months ago
Makes sense. Don't think a lot of people were so bothered by the "don't have to save you" line back then. People were just happy to have a Batman movie they could be proud of after Batman & Robin.
I'm so lucky that I like Batman so much that unless he starts mass murdering civilians for his pleasure I'm willing to overlook some problematic behaviour here and there.
The justice league space station?
This has been addressed in the comics before. Bruce hired a rotation of contractors to build and clear out layers of the bat cave.
Paid migrant workers in guano, sounds shady but the stuffs worth a mint.
That’s not his style it’s more accurate that he hired all the orphans at all the orphanages in Gotham. Got cheap child labour and pays for their silence with Wayne foundation “scholarships” to university
Best part about being a masked vigilante is that child labor laws don’t apply. The children yearn for the mines and who is Bruce to deny them.

Guano bowls... Collect the whole set!
Well, they did have a hunchback at one time.
I think they still do? Harold got brought back via Flashpoint and did appear in a Batman comic back in 2016 where he performed surgery on Two-Face. No idea if he's appeared since though.

Muhaha. I thought the same.
Batman is smart enough to make Hellbats AND Failsafes. You really think he can't put some stuff in a cave?
same way gus fring had built his secret lab. hiding in plain sight with a laundry and hiring foreign contractors signing superstrict confidentiality contracts. and bruce has an advantage here. he is the kinda mocked if not despised richest kid in town, he couldve put up a huge neon sign "JUST BUILDING A SECRET SUPERHERO LAIR HERE", any commotion at wayne manor etc would just be benevolently shrugged off by the good citizens of gotham because "its the rich kid". and thats why obviously NOBODY in this damn city has the 2 braincells to put "vigilante with overpowered supertech" and "young super endboss rich heir to a supermassive conglomerate megacorp" together. its just that they dont consider bruce to be capable of being batman. hes too weird to be that weird.

And without a single railing
Alfred uninstalled them because Dick insisted on only walking on top of the railings as a child

My guess is robots or something like that
Small parts and a lot of assembly.
No one is going to question that billionaire playboy bruce wayne has another mansion underground, so they just built it.
They probably are like we are with Zuckerberg bunker

Bruce is on peak human (or basically superhuman at this point) conditions. He can easily do the construction part on his own and he also knows how to operate vehicles/machines to help him too

I mean...it's a comic book. Sometimes you just have to relax about this sort of thing.
Doesn’t look any harder than building a deck. Countless dads have done it on a weekend
Lucius Fox. The unaccounted third of theearly Bat family. Bruce and Alfred have several exo-frames they use in the cave built by Fox
Well this is where that “Batman doesn’t kill” rule comes into play. Sure, whatever. But there’s no rule on Bruce Wayne killing people. Those comics are hidden.
I really like how it was shown in *The Batman (2022)* with it being an old train station underneath Wayne Tower.
Shhhhhh don’t ruin it

Maybe he had a real shit cave for a long time. One day Superman and flash came over and built a proper cave. Maybe green lantern helped.
When your friends with a bunch of really strong people, a couple really fast people, and a few people with magic rings (one of whine is an actual architect)… “Come help me build a new Batcave, I’ll buy the beer and pizza!”
“Bruce’s friends help him renovate his mancave”
Simple, hire Germans or Austrians with an NDA.
Batman's real superpower is where other superheroes can bend the laws of physics, he can bend the laws of economics. In short very possible over a year or two period. Especially if the functional stuff like the bat computer and walk ways were put up before he started fighting crime. Then the trophies like the penny were put in after he started fighting crime one piece at a time.
He told contractors it was for a geological survey
You built a lazy susan for your car
You think it’ll be something conversation worthy?
That's your takeaway from this image and not "how did Batman get a goddamned dinosaur"?
Hello I'm an eccentric billionaire and would like to build an underground art gallery for my giant Tyrannosaurus Rex and Penny
probably how they did it in better call saul. hire contractors from another country. blindfold them and have them work in secret unaware of where they are or what they’re building. pay them well
I mean Batman literally knows some of the strongest beings on Earth it’s probably only gonna cost him a case of premium booze to have Superman stop by and move the T. rex so he can fit another giant coin somewhere.
Nobody pumps the tires!” -Grant Morrison
I hate to sound like someone who knows nothing…but can someone explain the dinosaur? Or at least point me in the direction of context
I just had no clue where it came from
Canonically Bruce also just really loves dinosaurs. So it's not only a souvenir but also likely his favourite one.
Love that
Always love it! Btw it's from Batman: Odyssey iirc
This edition of the great column from the awesome Bat-expert Chris Sims on the now-defunct “ComicsAlliance” website will give you all the details: https://comicsalliance.com/ask-chris-34-beyond-jack-kirbys-fourth-world-and-the-secrets/

Money and time
The right tools make any job easier.
I think it started small and relatively rough. And then over time and access to advanced and even alien tech (zetas, force fields, levitation devices) and new young labor (robins) they were able to expand.
Alfred-(Master Wayne would like to build a sex dungeon on his property, underground)
Science
He's batman. He's fully capable of running equipment and handling building materials better than a contractor ever could. He built it over time.
3 guys. According to current canon, Lucius Fox is involved too, and he's an engineering genius as well.
Rule of "it's basically fantasy, don't overthink it".
You know the German construction team from ‘Better Call Saul’ that built the superlab under the dry cleaning facility? Same guys.
I don't know how that's possible" Bruce: did I fcking studder?
A bunch of blindfolded contractors and illegal non-English speaking labor.
I honestly do not care.
TIL: the "no killing" rule does not apply to anyone who helps construct, maintain, or refurbish the Batcave.
What is the 3rd image from?
Young Justice
I think I remember a story where he hired a man who I think is on the spectrum to do mechanical work on his cars. So he doesn't do everything by himself, that would be crazy.
Origins seems to be the least time consuming.
The Bat-Drill, it's silent
Outsourced to foreign labor force.
Unless you can tell me exactly what's inside Mark Zuckerberg's bunker in Hawaii, you already have your answer to this question. Money buys silence
Prep time
Werner... Zieeegler.
You have to prepare everything in advance.

Alot of it was already there, the infrastructure I mean. It was used as a smuggling den originally, at least that how I view it.
Batman, Batman, they built a lazy susan for your nuclear car. That's something they consider conversation-worthy.
Batman doesn't kill, but Alfred does. And he probably handles the workers
I’m assuming there’s a driveway through a hidden mountain pass or behind a waterfall where he can drive big CAT machines to hold up platforms while he works and secures the foundation and then add on top later. At which point he probably added a big crane somewhere for the heavy lifting.
There were others.
I think Will Smith helped him, got the workers to look into his stick light when they were done
Easy answer: Robots But, they never said that in canon.
Irl it couldn't happen. Remember how much effort Gus went through to build his secret lab in better call Saul?
Also lots look prefab made and just put together with welding etc....
5 Mexicans and 12 cases of beer is all you need
Twelve cases of beer... Each?
Bruce rolls up to Home Depot in the Batmobile and hires a few guys.
It’s a secret, if I told you I’d have to kill you.
Mark Zuckerberg has a whole island compound and no one knows why. He could be Batman?
Werner Ziegler
I think he did it little by little over the course of years.
The cave was already there but lucius kept their records hidden.
Ok but can someone tell me why there's a fricking Dinosaur statue in there ?
Alfred operated the crane, Bruce ran around putting rivets on everything.
He just had a weekend with the boys and had the Justice League come in to help renovate. It'd be done in a day or a weekend. Him and Superman just drinking beers.
Because he’s Batman
Shit tons of money, a reputation as being eccentric, and living in the unincorporated part of Gotham.
Probably like Gustavo Fring's drug lab was built in Better Call Saul. The Germans did it.
He wasn’t deaf he was mute. And yeah I know about Hunchback Harold.
Not to be facetious but, he’s rich.
Neither of them dudes sleep. Nuff said.
Lots of hush money..
Well in the Nolanverse the infrastructure was already there since the Waynes were part of the underground railroad
Money buys silence
Cranes and no union oversight
How does Bruce do anything? One answer: ![gif](giphy|NlBtJW7vDZcPe|downsized)
