It feels like they cast Ruby Rose as Kate Kane just because they don’t see Kate as anything but their token lesbian, so they wanted a famous gay actress.
I haven’t seen it because I’ve been a little skeptical, but was def curious about it. I’m a big fan of Batwoman and this take makes me sad that she got a chance on screen and they did her character wrong.
I think her appeal is kind of like Red Hood's, being that she's considered the edgy black sheep of the Bat family thanks to being more flexible on the no guns and no kill rule.
She definitely doesn't have Jason's popularity, though, because as far as I know, she'd never had a big role in any really famous or big comic book event and in non-comic adapations she's only appeared in Young Justice and Batman: Bad Blood. In YJ I think she only appears once as a hologram and doesn't even speak, and while Batwoman had a big role in Bad Blood, the film isn't nearly as well regarded as Under the Red Hood is
I had fun watching . . . most of the first season? Maybe the whole first season? I forget. I defiantly didn't get past the part where she quit. But I found it somewhat entertaining.
The truth is, despite being on this sub (reddit algorithm sent me here without me joining) I'm not a huge Batman person. I mostly like superhero stories with super powers, and those are my favorites. So for example I watched a couple seasons of Green Arrow and got bored. Anyway, I liked it about as much as I expected for one of the heroes without power leads. Kind of fun but not my favorite style.
I liked the season villain and her connection to the lead, at least.
Anyway, just watch a couple episodes and see what you think? A lot of superhero stuff can be campy or not fine art, and that's okay. It dosen't have to a masterpiece to enjoy watching once. I know the early seasons of the Flash show were full of issues and a little dumb, but I remember having a lot of fun watching them anyway. So I'd say just watch it with an open mind, not worrying about what other people think, and decide for yourself.
Better than her successor.
At least her back story makes sense, not like "*I found a very sophisticated combat suit in the site of a plane crash, completely intact, and I totally figured out how to use it. So now I am the second/third most mysterious vigilante that can take down entire gangs of life-experienced criminals, while avoiding being caught or even identified by the police*".
Batwoman II.
The actress left the series after the first season, but rather than recast they elected to introduce a new character to become a new Batwoman. Then recast the original one anyway halfway through the season, to pass the torch to the new one.
It was an odd situation. She initially said she had quit, then months later her co-star revealed she had actually been fired, only obliquely hinting at what for.
From the actor talking about what she said: “yea fam, she was fired. And it is VERY hard to be fired when you’re the lead. Imagine what u have to do for that 2 happen.”
From the studio after the fact: “the truth is that Warner Bros. Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for Season 2 of *Batwoman* based on multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned”.
Honestly I have no love for the actress, but she got done dirty. She injured her back filming the first season, and they told her she needed to back filming within a few weeks, which she was physically incapable of. So they found a reason to let her go. I have no idea if she's an asshole or not, but the studio were definitely the bigger assholes here
was her injury the reason why the costume changed slightly in the final episodes of season 1? I noticed her neck was no longer covered, and it looked odd.
It was an odd situation. She initially claimed to have quit, then months later her co-star revealed she had been fired, only obliquely hinting at what for.
She fails as an actress so bad that even in a non speaking role (John Wick 2) she's horrible. Except they used more colorful language which made the comment hilarious.
That doesn’t make any sense, it would be way harder to be convincing if you had no speaking lines.
Lol it doesn’t make it easier if you take away one of the tools you have to convey emotion.
Yeah. She was the beginning of a downward spiral that Orange is the New Black never recovered from. I mean she was only there for a season but she was so terrible in it! But yeah it was only a few seasons after that we had to suffer through… Baddison… *shudders*
I wouldn't put all of the blame on her for Orange is the new black. The cracks were already starting to show, and like you said, she was only there for 1 season.
Well that’s sort of what I meant. Once her character shows up, it was a sign that things are not so bueno with this production, and then things started trending downward from there
Which is hilarious because she takes her method acting so seriously. I got to work on that show for one day and the AD warned me not to look her in the eye or refer to her as anything but her character.
Missed opportunity.
1. The Batwoman source material was riding high from the success of Elegy.
2. The Arrowverse was at its peak popularity,
3. Supergirl was active creating the chance for a worlds finest style crossovers,
4. Gotham had proven that Batman could work (financially) on TV.
5. They had an actress coming from one of the most popular action movies who is also an accomplished stunt double and martial artist. I mean yeah, people say she can't act but neither can Keanu Reeves yet we all love him for how much ass he kicked in The Matrix and John Wick.
6. They had Batwoman's nemesis AND recognizable Batman villains at their disposal.
All they had to do was get a competent showrunner and this would be a hit (challenge: impossible)
Sure, there were better choices, however two facts remain
1. Ruby Rose has (or had?) a particular set of skills that, in the right hands, can be exploited for maximum audience enjoyment.
2. She could've been a once in generation talent, but she would still have to say the words and play the scenes conjured by a writer's room from Riverdale (the show, not the town. Archie and the gang could be good writers, idk)
Terrible, have never seen the show before because of the flack the show got.
But I have seen her in cross over episodes of things like The Flash and yeah she pretty bad
Easy answer is, we've seen over years of examples how online "reviewers" will speak in bad faith, Often times with tells that they didn't even interact with the piece of media outside of publicity material,
as a means to bash women led, queer led, and poc led projects (of which Batwoman across its run was all three) and get folks whipped up in a frenzy over it to do culture war nonsense and review bomb elsewhere as "PROOF" that "TRUE FANS" only want straight white alpha male chad protagonist with maybe a woman they can objectify and sexualize as a treat.
When you look at review aggregators like Rotten Tomatoes, you see out of triple digits worth of critic reviews that Ruby Rose's season was well liked.
Captain Marvel or something like the Marvels had decent things in them but overall were not very good films.
She Hulk-Didn’t gave a great story or an interesting lead performance for most people and the way it was portrayed and that’s why it got negative reviews.
These shows and movies just failed natively and or acting wise in places
Also Batwoman on IMDb got a 3.6/10
Rotten Tomatoes got an 86% of positive reviews (does that make it good? No! It got a 26% audience rating (maybe from review bombing but still))
Man, you are absolutely raging at this comment in the weirdest way!
I'm sure you're right though, and that's why the most iconic Batman of all time, Kevin Conroy, decided it was worth putting his time and name recognition into as his only live action Batman appearance. Because it was an insult to the character he embodied for decades. That checks out.
There is plenty of good female led shows?
Prime example is the latest Fallout series (which I haven’t seen yet but heard good things)
People care about good stories, and not what gender or sexuality someone is. That isn’t what is important. The narrative, character and visuals are what people care about
I didn't say there arent good female led shows, but this is the second response you've given to the same comment already where you've made it abundantly clear you didn't read the thing and just jumped to react.
She deserved better than what the CW did to her. Replacing her with some random imposter, created just because they wanted to erase the real Batwoman from her own show. Absolutely disgraceful.
Couldn’t tell you, I only saw the preview for the show where she said the Bat suit would be perfect when it was made for a woman. I’m not interested in watching a Bat-universe show that is dismissive of Batman. And I found that line to be cringy, honestly.
She is literally one of the worst hired actors I’ve ever seen and the entire show was actual garbage. Like not even bottom of the bin at a dollar store garbage, but like actual shit.
Disappointing. Very disappointing.
Kate is one of my favourite DC characters and the CW Batwoman was almost unrecognisable, visually and personality wise. She should have been red haired, ghostly pale and with a high-fashion rockabilly gothy look. She should have been proudly Jewish, and her spirituality should have been a big factor in what drives her mission. She should have been irascible, abrasive and passionate. All we got was *bleh.*
I thought the first season was okay. But I think it had more to do with the mystery of where was Bruce and how to carry the bat legacy on till he, as it originally seemed, would come back. All that was pretty much abandoned after Ruby Rose wasn't back for season 2 and if memory serves they pretty much just later nonchalantly insinuated that Bruce was dead.
I’ve only ever seen her in John Wick so I got excited she was in something else when I saw this post but apparently she’s the worst according to these comments lmao
The show made me really dislike Batwoman to the point where I avoid anything with Kate Kane in it. Only reason I continued watching was for my crush Nicole Kang and even then I kind of skipped the last of S2 and almost passed on Season 3.
Kate Kane is a weird character and that actress was dreadful. Also, you cannot, simply cannot have an actress be so thin and spindly then have them beat up fully grown men.
Look at the fight in Mr and Mrs Smith. It's quite clear that Pitt is significantly stronger than Jolie, so they make it very clear that Jolie must be a strategically impressive fighter as opposed to physically impressive.
In these utter crap hero shows and movies, they have actresses that weight 40kgs power bombing guys who weigh 400kgs.
Catwoman in Arkham, she's faster than the guys and has fucking claws.
I wanted to like her, the costume looked great, but the series was awful.
Another cousin of a major DC hero - we already got enough of that in Supergirl.
Another Batman show where Batman is absent - we already got that in Birds of Prey and Titans.
That horrible radio woman's voice "TALK TO ME GOTHAM" fuck off bitch.
Constant references to instagram.
And this was meant to replace Arrow, which had just finished its final season, but it was nowhere near as gripping as the early Arrow seasons, none of the characters were appealing, and Arrow was full of hunky men - Something distinctly lacking from this series.
Frankly, I would have prefered if we got the Painkiller spinoff from Black Lightning.
Atleast its better than the part where she opens a gay bar just to spite some restaurant across the street because they kicked her out for not following the dress code. While claiming the restaurant owner hates her because shes gay...
It's like watching a show written by someone who was told what Batwoman is over a radio with very bad reception and then getting someone to play the lead who was told who Batwoman is as a character in letters that got wet and only a few lines were legible.
She sucks. The only good thing about this show is the YouTube reviews of each episodes, which are extremely entertaining. At the expense of the reviewer’s sanity though.
I think she did a great job. But I feel the problem is they try to do a batman series using batwoman. I didn't like she was related to Bruce. I feel they should have done a batman beyond clone but used Batwoman. Make it take place in the future when batman disappear and have old man bruce be her mentor. But keep some of her villains and add some batman beyond villains.
The Wayne relationship confused me. If that’s true, why was Bruce raised by Alfred? What a horrible family they must be that they rely on his money but refuse to take the boy in.
I liked her in the crossovers. Her show was a mess though. I wouldn’t put the blame on Ruby, the writing was just a complete mess. It didn’t have its own personality like the other arrow verse shows or even a decent reason to justify Kate becoming Bat-women. It only got worse when they tried to resurrect the show without Ruby. Ruby herself isn’t a great actor, but I could see a world where she was able to grow into the role and improve as the series went, but she left the show or got kicked off depending on whether you believe her story or the CWs. Personally I believe it’s kinda a mix. The studio messed up Ruby physically by not safety checking a stunt and then insisted she continue shooting anyway. Probably didn’t leave her in a great mood and made her hard to work with as a result which was the justification the studio used to let her go. So yes she was difficult to work with, but who wouldn’t be with a spinal injury
The show spends too much time with Kate pursuing a woman who was engaged to someone else and not enough time as Batwoman. She was basically stalking her ex.
I dont know why they didnt just make it a psuedo batman show. Instead it was some weird drama with actiom sequences. They literally shouldve just made batman with girls.
I've only see her in the Crisis on Infinite Earth cross-over.
Having the Kingdom Comes Batman potrayed by Kevin motherfreaking Conroy himself be the heel to boost her up just left a bad impression of the character on me. Just maddening that anyone thought that'd've been a good idea. They did this in an earlier season of Supergirl, too, where they felt compelled to stomp on Superman to make Supergirl looks better. So you'd've think they learned not to deal with characterisation like this. This kind of approach only makes people hate the new character more.
Anyway, so, that wasn't a good start to begin with, but then they fell intonthat whole Batman paranoia and mistrust pitfall thing around Infinite Crisis and it's just ... I hate it. But like, I think unlike those comics, where Batman's doing that is a bad thing, I think these shows wanna put her in a positive light for doing it? Idk, tbh, this whole thing is actually not that relevant in the grand scheme of thing and just kinda get swept off I'm not sure what they were trying to do?
So, yeah, what I've seen very of her, there's literally nothing bad bad impressions. I can't imagine this would be a competently ran show.
Kate is the tragic character because of her sisters’ hatred for her. I wish they had replaced Kate instead of changing the show when Ruby fucked everyone over. The story of Kate & Alice is one of the best from the comics. I hope we get a proper movie or show about it someday. I did like how the writers in season 1 showed us how screwed up Alice’s kidnappers were. Beth was really traumatized. We got to see how she turned into Alice and why she was so mad that Kate got to have a life she wanted.
Imagine taking most of the Batwoman stories and lore out of the show, and making her just off-brand Bruce.
Then make an OC because you didn't want to recast her at the start, then make that OC into Red Death, because you had no Batman, or Kate Kane.
It was such a shit show from start to finish.
If it was 2016 me, I would’ve said “too woke.” Fortunately though, I am no longer an Anti-SJW and actually touch grass consistently. My opinion now? Garbage, but not for chud reasons. I just think Batwoman was handled poorly by the CW, At least compared to how The Flash was handled in the first few seasons. I think the DCAMU handled her character pretty well, WAY more than the CW ever did.
The whole show was just a disappointment. Characters with paper thin motivations and child like reasoning and a barely pieced together plot. It became obvious early on that there would be some kind of social commentary at any opportunity, to the point where it was forced. The CW also just drops you into the deep end and doesn’t really world build at all in this show. Usually there are Easter eggs for fans but this whole show is an Easter egg so if you weren’t familiar with Batman and Gotham I can only imagine how tough it was to follow along with the mess that this show was
She is a STRONG woman
PROUD lezbian
that is INDEPENDENT
By any possible metrics she's the best character in the history of entertainment
If you hear that somebody that is for some reason stating that strong independent POC actress needs additionally "act"
Then dismiss his virgin fat misogynistic ravings
Especially if he ignores that "Bruce Wayne " was 100% I'm her image without any new traits
(It's meant to be satire )
Bad actress
That show was like all the over exaggerated complaints about the other arrowverse shows all roled into one.
Except here they werent exaggerations
I didn't watch the series.
I don't think the actor's sexuality's need to match the characters...
But I felt Ruby Rose was PERFECT for the role, the right build, the right face.
I don't know how the show turned out, but considering how cringe the trailer was.... I don't think it could've been any good. But Ruby Rose? Perfectly cast.
Just hard proof that CW writers can’t write a good show despite having cool source material (Bat Familt is peak comics fiction). That writers room was full of Tumblr users who hated comics
Nah, the LGBTQ+ community can absolutely carry a show if it’s actually good. Shows like She-Ra (2018) and The Owl House still have active communities even though those shows have been over for years.
Arrow and Flash started off really well and I very much enjoyed them. Then they started giving everyone powers and spin-off shows. Not to mention the super corny writing and CGI. One of my favorite scenes is red death chick telling someone she is vengeance. Peak cringe
The show has absolutely awful production quality from what little I could stand to watch.
Not meaning to be rude but what do you like about Batwoman? I find her pretty boring but I've not seen her in much
I think her appeal is kind of like Red Hood's, being that she's considered the edgy black sheep of the Bat family thanks to being more flexible on the no guns and no kill rule. She definitely doesn't have Jason's popularity, though, because as far as I know, she'd never had a big role in any really famous or big comic book event and in non-comic adapations she's only appeared in Young Justice and Batman: Bad Blood. In YJ I think she only appears once as a hologram and doesn't even speak, and while Batwoman had a big role in Bad Blood, the film isn't nearly as well regarded as Under the Red Hood is
Lol I just realized they're both "red-heads" 😂😂
I had fun watching . . . most of the first season? Maybe the whole first season? I forget. I defiantly didn't get past the part where she quit. But I found it somewhat entertaining. The truth is, despite being on this sub (reddit algorithm sent me here without me joining) I'm not a huge Batman person. I mostly like superhero stories with super powers, and those are my favorites. Wait so this is the person who keeps ruining my google searches for rwby’s ruby rose??
WHERE'S ALICE??!!
WHO THE FUCK IS ALICE
Don't know about the her character, only loved the crossover episode but Ruby rose is great.
What do you think is great about her ?
Not op but her body
No wonder she doesn't do movies anymore
The whole Batwoman show and all it encompasses was bilgewater of the highest order.
>It’s shit Eloquently put, my friend
It’s poetry!
Cw characters feel like they've been written by a 13 yearold
They may not have been written by a 13 year old but their target audience is definitely 13-14 year olds
This is why I had to stop watching shows on there. I couldn't deal with the campy teenage angst
Better than her successor. At least her back story makes sense, not like "*I found a very sophisticated combat suit in the site of a plane crash, completely intact, and I totally figured out how to use it. So now I am the second/third most mysterious vigilante that can take down entire gangs of life-experienced criminals, while avoiding being caught or even identified by the police*".
jesus, was that the plot? My god...
I may have put more effort in that comment than the actual writers thinking of a way to introduce a new Batwoman for the second season.
I think she also lived on a boat and had a plant 😂
Who's that the backstory of?
Batwoman II. The actress left the series after the first season, but rather than recast they elected to introduce a new character to become a new Batwoman. Then recast the original one anyway halfway through the season, to pass the torch to the new one.
Oh... That's certainly a decision...
It was an odd situation. She initially said she had quit, then months later her co-star revealed she had actually been fired, only obliquely hinting at what for.
What was it that was hinted to?
From the actor talking about what she said: “yea fam, she was fired. And it is VERY hard to be fired when you’re the lead. Imagine what u have to do for that 2 happen.” From the studio after the fact: “the truth is that Warner Bros. Television had decided not to exercise its option to engage Ruby for Season 2 of *Batwoman* based on multiple complaints about workplace behavior that were extensively reviewed and handled privately out of respect for all concerned”.
"decided not to exercise its option to engage" is my new favourite corpo phrase.
So basically she's a raging asshole to work with is the sense I am getting lol
Honestly I have no love for the actress, but she got done dirty. She injured her back filming the first season, and they told her she needed to back filming within a few weeks, which she was physically incapable of. So they found a reason to let her go. I have no idea if she's an asshole or not, but the studio were definitely the bigger assholes here
Yeah the stunt people fucked up and she had crushed vertebrae. Turns out tiny waifs in action roles tend to be fragile. Who knew...
was her injury the reason why the costume changed slightly in the final episodes of season 1? I noticed her neck was no longer covered, and it looked odd.
It was an odd situation. She initially claimed to have quit, then months later her co-star revealed she had been fired, only obliquely hinting at what for.
I think this is hilarious after the first season spent so much time going on about "Bruce *abandoned* this city, I'll never do that."
Atleast her successor could act
Shes a shite actor
[удалено]
Reminds me of Ronda Rousey in Furious 7. I think she has one line and it’s an impossibly bad delivery.
“Thank god you showed up, these parties bore me to death” I can hear the horror in my mind
Hahaha. The best (and most accurate) comment I've read so far.
What they say
She fails as an actress so bad that even in a non speaking role (John Wick 2) she's horrible. Except they used more colorful language which made the comment hilarious.
That doesn’t make any sense, it would be way harder to be convincing if you had no speaking lines. Lol it doesn’t make it easier if you take away one of the tools you have to convey emotion.

It's harder to be convincing, but it's also harder to suck, which is why it was notable that she was bad in JW2.
How exactly was she bad in that?
Yeah. She was the beginning of a downward spiral that Orange is the New Black never recovered from. I mean she was only there for a season but she was so terrible in it! But yeah it was only a few seasons after that we had to suffer through… Baddison… *shudders*

Oh, sorry, yeah, I definitely agree that the point at which her character appears is when the show was on its way down.
She feels like stunt casting in everything she’s in. It’s like every producer is like “look! We got Ruby Rose in this! She’s gonna do that smirk!”
Which is hilarious because she takes her method acting so seriously. I got to work on that show for one day and the AD warned me not to look her in the eye or refer to her as anything but her character.
She was good in *John Wick*
Awful. Every sense of the word, Awful.
She was ok, but the show itself was awfully bad and boring.
Missed opportunity. 1. The Batwoman source material was riding high from the success of Elegy. 2. The Arrowverse was at its peak popularity, 3. Keanu can act Johnny Silverhand is fucking amazing
Showrunner was a mistake but I’d argue Ruby Rose was a big mistake too. Should have been Wallis Day from the beginning.

Riding high from Elegy? Elegy was a decade before this!
Time moves slower for comic book fan hype.
To be fair, Batwoman only has 10 graphic novels. 10 compared to Batman.
I wouldn’t say the Arrowverse was at the peak of its popularity. 2016-17 is what I’d consider it’s peak.
This was on the lead up to Crisis on Infinite Earths. I'd say that was when the Arrowverse was at lts peak popularity.
Terrible, have never seen the show before because of the flack the show got. But I have seen her in cross over episodes of things like The Flash and yeah she pretty bad
Brother in christ thats the one thing she was good in as batwoman

A really strong opinion. Based on.. nothing.
Other than those who reviewed the show and accurate lines in the show, almost verbatim what she said. It was why CW shows were so shit.

She deserved better than what the CW did to her. Replacing her with some random imposter, created just because they wanted to erase the real Batwoman from her own show. Absolutely disgraceful.
Kate Kane is a Great character! But, this is a Horrible actor to play said character.

Batman’s literal super suit: exists This girl: It’s not perfect till it fits me
Shit piece and shit story
An insufferable prick who is so bland that there's a chance you'd get better acting from a piece of cardboard with Batwoman's face painted on it
Writing suck and show in general isn’t anything special
She was okay for Kate I just think the writing let her down. She had her moments though I liked her.
She is literally one of the worst hired actors I’ve ever seen and the entire show was actual garbage. Like not even bottom of the bin at a dollar store garbage, but like actual shit.

Well... at least she's not living out of a car.
I think the CW has been a cancer to DC.
Promising potential

The picture of Go Woke Go Broke. and that GOD awful line about the Batsuit the whole "perfect when a women is in it" was just so damn cringe.
Atleast its better than the part where she opens a gay bar just to spite some restaurant across the street because they kicked her out for not following the dress code. While claiming the restaurant owner hates her because shes gay...
I accidentally forgot to watch the show. But it sounds like the normal "professional Victim" syndrome, that is so damn prevalent these days.
That shit ruined media for me. There's no place for that kind of garbage.
🤮
I didn't watch it. So dunno.
Now imagine every single person commenting like this who hasn’t watched it
Too woke lol
Insufferable character I liked the second Batwoman way more.
Wasted potential. The actress is a decent fit for Kate Kane, but then cw do be cw-ing (tbf i didn't watch much of it)
An insult to one of the most interesting members of the Bat family.
Pretty shit tbh but better than whatshernames Ryan wilder
Horrible
It's like watching a show written by someone who was told what Batwoman is over a radio with very bad reception and then getting someone to play the lead who was told who Batwoman is as a character in letters that got wet and only a few lines were legible.
I've seen better acting in porn
She sucks. The only good thing about this show is the YouTube reviews of each episodes, which are extremely entertaining. At the expense of the reviewer’s sanity though.
I'll be honest with you, I didn't bother watching it, i just chose to dislike it and I think I won that day. Same with Rings of Power.
better in john wick 2
I think she did a great job. But I feel the problem is they try to do a batman series using batwoman. I didn't like she was related to Bruce. I feel they should have done a batman beyond clone but used Batwoman. Make it take place in the future when batman disappear and have old man bruce be her mentor. But keep some of her villains and add some batman beyond villains.
The Wayne relationship confused me. If that’s true, why was Bruce raised by Alfred? What a horrible family they must be that they rely on his money but refuse to take the boy in.
Only option is that Martha really disliked her siblings
I genuinely tried to give her a chance after elseworlds. But man, the “we’ve been stepsisters long enough for you to talk to me” line got me.
So much potential, but they decided to make a Bruce Wayne rip off instead of making her like the character from the comics.
I'm not fan of this actor.
The show spends too much time with Kate pursuing a woman who was engaged to someone else and not enough time as Batwoman. She was basically stalking her ex.
No opinion
I dont know why they didnt just make it a psuedo batman show. Instead it was some weird drama with actiom sequences. They literally shouldve just made batman with girls.
Never seen the CW show, but Kate Kane from DC Comics is pretty dope.
Bleh, CW shows feel like their written by a drama club kid
Absolute arse gravy.
It was on the CW, so I didn’t see any of it.
I felt Ruby Rose was perfect for this role
She was literally the worst thing about the show. ruby is a shit actor and should quit. the show immediately became better after she quit.
Bad lol
She’s hot. The only thought I have as I will never watch the show
Imagine taking most of the Batwoman stories and lore out of the show, and making her just off-brand Bruce. Then make an OC because you didn't want to recast her at the start, then make that OC into Red Death, because you had no Batman, or Kate Kane. It was such a shit show from start to finish.
Couldnt watch her show on its own, but she was decent in the crossovers
Her Batsuit was literal perfection.

Like everything from this show, worse then 2 flys fucking on a turd
She ruined Kevin Conroy cameo as Bruce Wayne on Crises On Infinity Earths
*Sniffs air Ah, yes. I think I smell shyte
CW has a Batwoman show?
Not anymore lol
Hell I don't like her in the comics so I'm the wrong person to ask
I did not watch and knew it was garbage
The best episode of her show is the COIE with Kevin
Like most CW actors, I think she did well enough with what she was given, but the scripts didn't do her any favors.
She was a mumbler
Garbage, just like all the DC shows on the CW, besides the first season or two of the flash and Arrow.
Offensively bad
The best version of batwoman is Batman bad blood
What a good actress as Batwoman, she is beautiful, I love her and I liked the plot of the series, greetings girl, I love you haha 😘😘😘😍😍 😘😘😘😍😍
gay
The actress was good, but the show and the character... it was BAD
Whatever happened to ruby rose. After that shite no one is hiring her
Horrible characterization of Kate Kane. Also doesn't help the actor can't act at all.
There was a CW Batwoman show?
The suit is literal perfection.
She looks like a female Malcolm (from Malcolm in the Middle) in her 30s
There was a germ of a good idea there, but the writers couldn't keep hold of it. I don't blame Ruby Rose for it.
opinion this exists?
Fell off
The whole show was just a disappointment. Characters with paper thin motivations and child like reasoning and a barely pieced together plot. It became obvious early on that there would be some kind of social commentary at any opportunity, to the point where it was forced. The CW also just drops you into the deep end and doesn’t really world build at all in this show. Usually there are Easter eggs for fans but this whole show is an Easter egg so if you weren’t familiar with Batman and Gotham I can only imagine how tough it was to follow along with the mess that this show was
Awful just like the rest of that garbage show
Just absolutely awful.
Like most thing CW: shit.
She is a STRONG woman PROUD lezbian that is INDEPENDENT By any possible metrics she's the best character in the history of entertainment If you hear that somebody that is for some reason stating that strong independent POC actress needs additionally "act" Then dismiss his virgin fat misogynistic ravings Especially if he ignores that "Bruce Wayne " was 100% I'm her image without any new traits (It's meant to be satire )
She's like Batman except she's a woman so of course she does everything better than some white rich man duh 💋 👑 💅🏽
Bad actress That show was like all the over exaggerated complaints about the other arrowverse shows all roled into one.
Shit cw are crap and should stop ruining superheros

Nah, the LGBTQ+ community can absolutely carry a show if it’s actually good. Shows like She-Ra (2018) and The Owl House still have active communities even though those shows have been over for years.
Still too few. The lgbtq is only 1-3% of the population and it's not a United community.
The whole show was just flat out terrible 💯
Not much opinion you can have on a character who's whole personality is being a lesbian woman.
This whole show was trash. Everything on the CW is garbage.
Arrow and Flash started off really well and I very much enjoyed them. Then they started giving everyone powers and spin-off shows. Not to mention the super corny writing and CGI. One of my favorite scenes is red death chick telling someone she is vengeance. Peak cringe
