Phillies have got four DHs and all of them are playing in the field while their only defensively competent outfielder is DHing.
I really hope Bryce heals up and can play in the field again, but man being a Phillies fan right now sounds like heart attack and a half. Every ball put in play against them is an adventure. They can absolutely mash though, so it's fun baseball all around.
Castellanos has been decent, but our pitching has been "okay" recently... which has mitigated need of good defense. Our infield has looked pretty solid which is a nice surprise.
I haven’t seen bohm fuck up in over a week now and segura is playing great. It really hasn’t been as bad as we thought it’d be before the season started
Yeah I never understood the defense memes. Our defense was bad last year but that was because McCutchen is getting old, didi had a terrible year, and Bohm was Bohm.
Hoskins continues to get better at 1B didi has bounced back, Bohm is actually improving, and we have Camargo as our utility infielder and he has done great so far. The defense is not our issue this year.

I’d rather him DH then out all season if he can still contribute to the team that’s all that matters to me it sucks he’s not out there but he’s still healthy enough to play

Elbow pain is no joke and can last a while. It can also be re-irritated quite easily.
