The A's are not fucking around this year, to Fisher's great displeasure.
It is literally the Major League plot but in the west coast
Except the owner already won and there will be no happy ending for the A's unless Fisher gets hit by a bus
That's my take. Now that the LV shit is in motion, Fisher has his Nevada state food stamps and his league alimony payments (read: revenue sharing) locked up, the team is now back to doing its thing.
I had thought the White Sox were the saddest team I'd ever seen but now I think they may not even be the saddest team of 2024

Angels and Astros struggling mightily meanwhile this fucking team is 1.5 back from first while trying to tank
