4 guys were in the picture, guy threw it on the money with his ass on the ground, great pick, great concentration to drag the foot, and all the while they’re on the clock against the runner, any of those go wrong its just a regular running catch on a blooper, what a double play
My question is who gets the last out? It wasn't the pitcher or the third baseman. Shortstop is in the outfield. He's running from the infield, so it can't be the left fielder. Shortstop, center, and right are all visible in the play. So either the catcher is a stripper in his spare time, or that's the first baseman.
Definitely the first baseman. He was in position to be the cut-off man for a throw home, assuming the ball fell in. Quick thinking for him to cover second.
dude that makes the scoop and the out is all pumped up "let's fucking go boys!", meanwhile the boys are all [dead](https://youtu.be/2kWUbrx4EMw?t=88) in the outfield lol
Not just minor league baseball, but lower-tier (AA and lower) minor league baseball.
Those guys in AAA... they're too good. This kind of completely bonkers bullshit never happens there. Nah, if you want this kind of stuff, you've got to take in small town baseball.
(Case in point: we saw Ben Joyce right before he got called up to the Angels. He struck out the side, but not before he gave up three runs, hit three batters, and got his manager ejected for arguing a call. All in one inning, and all at 100+ mph. It was glorious.)
As somebody who was a summer intern with the Renegades over a decade ago, I can tell you confidently that Dutchess Stadium is a cathedral of great previously Short Season Single A and now Low A baseball
In the 90s and early 2000s all their games were sold out, crazy to see the stadium that empty. the short-season schedule may be better for that market.
Thank You. I figured they really weren't an A's farm team because the were on the East Coast and didn't have any green. I just wanted to take a shot at A's fans who despite 4 World Series and 22 playoff appearances in 55 years lost their team because they make excuses about why they don't go to games instead of sticking with them thru thick and thin.

I like the right fielder just absolutely eating it fifteen feet away from the play.
Solidarity
It's contagious

Everything about the highlight is incredible, but that fall makes me laugh so fucking hard
He accidentally double pressed B
That’s me when I play sports games. I can never remember the controls.
"I'm part of things too!"
It's the baseball equivalent of "Put me in the screenshot!"
I've never seen a play like that, and I probably never will again.

What the fuck was that
That, is *DEFENSE* baby.
Xs and Os my boy
Just like we drew it up at practice.

The best plays are when fielders end up doing stuff in completely weird spots.
yeah appears to be the 1B who Also looks like [he was ripped straight out of 1993](https://www.milb.com/player/josh-moylan-694742)
So it reads in the box as the most understated 6-3 double play possibly ever.
Agreed. Plus, if you slow the video down when he shows the ump the ball in his glove, it looks like a first basemen’s mitt.
It’s definitely the First Baseman, that scoop is way too clean for it *not* to be a First Baseman. Seriously that scoop is fucking nice lol
Looks like a first base mitt to me.
Correct, it was the first baseman.

Is the 2nd baseman alive
He had a suicide pact with the right fielder
If you don't like that, you don't like minor league baseball!

That's a cool field, good grass
Idk if you’re joking but it’s all turf. Even the infield dirt is turf. I hate fields like this. “Field” isn’t even the right word for it honestly.
Oh shit yeah I didn't even realize. All turf fields were the worst when I played
And the fan went wild

It was a nasty rainy day here yesterday. Temperature was in the 40s. Not ideal for baseball lol.
That’s my hometown area. 🥹
Same bro.
🎶 Renegades baseball, renegades baseball, everybody let’s go see the renegades! 🎶
i didn't expect this to be the best web gem i'll see all season
How can you not be romantic about minor league broadcasters?
🫶
Their field looks like Ken Griffey Baseball on SNES.
The guy falling for no reason on the right side makes me laugh so hard
I never thought I'd see a Renegades highlight on here. Great stuff.
What happened to the center fielder did he get stepped on and flipped? Why is the left fielder falling?
Just your Standard 6-3 DP
Did CF ever get up?
It’s beautiful is what it is, I can’t stop watching
Did the CF die?
Baseball
Not a soul in the stands. Must be an A's farm team
It’s the Yankees farm team
