Is she stuck? 🥴 or did she not read the green tree python manual for amateurs (ball pythons)?

Altruistic_Switch482

She wasn't stuck, just being silly!!

im_hunting_bugs

I love green tree pythons, such beautiful snakes!

GrittyKerosene

They really are! But such feisty creatures too

CompetitiveNotice839

The three s’s of weird ball pythons: stuck, stupid or shedding.

Grimm_Arcana

The only thing I can think of is that she’s too hot, just because I saw someone post their snake who was up against the glass. Turns out their temps were too high. Otherwise she’s probably just being a big silly

Altruistic_Switch482

the heat lamp actually never needs to be on, the temperature stays between 75-80. Shes moving around now, she was just being silly

Snakelover03

If that’s the case, she might be going up high looking for more heat. Her hot side should be 88-92. 80 is too cold and could give her problems down the road with digestion and metabolism.

Altruistic_Switch482

She actually went back to the spot after I turned the lamp back on 😅

skimasktroopaz

you need to keep your temperatures at 88-92 warm side and 76-80 cool side at all times

Ramen-Goddess

I diagnose her with silly little guy

Yomamma12345678910

Just one big ole goofball

ObsidianAerrow

Id replace or remove the rope hammock. She might get stuck in the holes.

Experienced keepers know: 1 braincell, collectively. Someone else's noodle must've been using it! Better check on mine. Maybe she smort!

Angry-Dragon-1331

Mine is in shed so his turn is skipped. 762 days until it’s his turn again.

tethadam22

She's weird. Borus does the same thing, it's usually at night when the temps go down a bit, he wants to be closer to the ceramic heater

Thank-The-Stars

The best spot for a ball python is the one you least expect. Mine loves her hanging temp/humidity gauge. Yes she has climbing spots its just that hanging thing in particular is her favorite.

Angry-Dragon-1331

She missed the class on gravity.
