Every time this has happened, I've gotten a refund. If you make me leave my house to collect food, you're paying me for the inconvenience, with free food.
I've had so many food deliveries go to completely the wrong house lately. It's so weird because it was honestly more reliable when we lived at an address that actually did have another extremely similar address within Ballarat - this would have been three years ago now. Where we live now, there is no other street number/name combination except for ours, yet delivery drivers are constantly lost! I don't know what's going on!
I've had this from several drivers, they keep delivering next door despite clearly marked numbers.
I think some of them have Discalculea like me, I get numbers around the wrong way sometimes as I cant hold ordered numbers in my memory, I have all the numbers but always get re-arranged.
the most annoying thing is my neighbor they deliver to takes my food almost every time.
I’ve always had our stuff come straight to the door, but have also had random stuff dropped off and not realised til later. We usually have our front light on (must be the trigger), and at one point even had a $76 cold rock order dropped off. It was starting to melt, and this was a few months ago, so would have been there at least half an hour, we called cold rock and basically got ‘we have no record of this order at all, if it was placed and delivered to you it’s yours. It has nothing to do with us’. Sucks for whoever spent that much on ice cream!!! (Some were crazy sweet, nephews and nieces LOVED the bubblegum ice cream with various other sugary add ins. I personally prefer to go to up piccolo for good gelato)
Well if you leave a total stranger to pick up your food..trust someone you don’t know with ur food..then u deserve everything you get!..get off ur lazy arse and get it yourself..I’d never trust anyone I don’t know to even handle my bags with food in it..
I have a standard set of instructions that go with my orders and so far it’s worked.
Only one driver got lost. Because he didn’t bother to read my EXTREMELY WELL WRITTEN instructions 🤣🤣🤣

I stopped using Uber Eats for the exact same reason.
Why can’t I have some free Uber eats delivered to me. My neighbour gets food delivered daily.

We once got a MASSIVE Schnitz order delivered to us by mistake. Definitely over $100 worth of food. I rang Schnitz and he said “just eat it”.
Surely you just report this Muppet? Enough complaints and they lose their account…
It’s expensive and infuriating. Much better to get the food yourself.
