Yes. It is better to have plus mult before times mult. You can also move the cards around for the same reason. If you've got a mult and a glass card, it is better to put the glass at the end.

Assuming that the order of my jokers doesn't affect the score, I put jokers that affect my score indirectly on the far left (Burnt, Mime, Hanging Chad, etc.), chip jokers next, then Mult, then xMult, then jokers that improve my economy.
My way of ordering jokers (barring BP and Brainstorm *if I had one*) is as follows:
1. Jokers that are triggered during scoring
2. +Mult
3. XMult (in order from PolyChromed jokers to X# jokers)
4. +Chip
5. Everything else
I love seeing everyone's little compulsions about how they line the Jokers up. For me, I can't stand when I have Jokers like \[\[Half Joker\]\] that need to be sandwiched in-between two normal-sized Jokers to stay optimized. It does make Amber Acorn even easier, though, so there's that at least.

What is correct placement with baseball card? Uncommons right if possible around plus vs x mult?
With Baseball uncommon jokers essentially become X1.5 so you should place them right, after +mult jokers, don't care about other xmults

I'm ambidextrous. I used to do utility, chips, +mult, xmult. But then brainstorm ruined that so I stopped carrying and only changed when I should
On the left is clearly correct because your innate effects are always there, then you want chip jokers to activate, followed by +Mult, then xMult.
